The staff acted like it was an inconvenience for them to assist me. I was in town for a couple of days and needed parts. They are better than some of the other stores in the area however I wouldn't make it a point to stop here

The ol go to store the majotity of the time...they have them located conveniently in sioux city. Their prices are always within the best you're going to find at a local store. I know there's those of you that will say " what's he talking about, parts are much cheaper online or from Amazon". To that I say, you're right. They are probably much cheaper off Amazon and you just go right ahead and purchase your third party cheaper parts and have at it. Then when they dint fit right or they go out on you in a week or a month, you can blame the guy that bought that part cheaper. Been there done that. And you know what. It was a guy at Adcance Auto that told me sure go ahead fella, buy your parts at Amazon you'll be right back here buying OEM parts in no time. And he was right. So sometimes you might get lucky but I don't chance it anymore. I buy oem for my vehicles and yea I might spend a little more than I woukd buying 3rd party from Amazon, but I want my part now or overnight not next week. I need the car fixed now not next week. My opinion only folks. Advance is a decent trustworthy outfit that stands behind their parts too. Goid luck on Amazon- sorry no returns. It'll get ya sooner or later. That cheaper price part won't fir and you go to return it and wait another week for it and son of a black lab, NO RETURNS ! ALL SALES FINAL. "Hot Diggety Dog" as "DW" would say. Makes a guy want to P-SS in his own boot doesn't it. You just got "FOCKED" on that one. Thanks Amazon. Should of went to Advance Auto huh... just open up that hand stretch it way out to your side now slap that guy in the mirror real hard and tell him nice one jackass. Ya get what ya pay for.

These guys are always happy to help. Needed a battery check, they didn't complain even though it was -10 degrees out. Helped me get what I needed and got the part the next day. I always come here for parts. Check out the mobile app for discounts and to check inventory.

I have stopped here twice in the last month to drop off UPS Packages and while the location is convenient, the store employees should be fired unless management approves them taking their smoke breaks while standing in the middle of the front door with the doors open. Both gals seemed working there seemed very inconvenienced by me. I slipped between them and the little black cart blocking the entrance and eventually they assisted me. This happened on both of my visits and is a terrible look for your store and sad on so many levels. I would never buy anything from here on this fact alone. This is a pretty simple fix and I am hopeful it will be addressed.

Went in to return cores and rent a loaner tool, upon arrival the store clerk was outside talking to her boyfriend, I waited at the counter 10 minutes before she came in and asked me to move my van for the delivery truck, I asked to proceed with my purchase so I could leave and was treated like it was a issue, then the driver of the delivery truck was so impatient he tried to block the only exit from the store so I drove over the sidewalk and took my business to autozone where I was treated much better.

I called Advanced, and a guy by the name of Chance answered. What started as a routine parts pricing, ended with an amassed customer mechanic.! He was fast, friendly, knowledgeable and really went the extra mile when he proactively confirmed a belief that was unasked in question, as to the mechanical function of a part and the amount of said part needed for a specific year make and model.! The two parts places I called just before speaking to Chance, I was on hold longer waiting for the answer to pricing then the entire communication with him. So great job Chance at store #6136 on Hamilton Blvd. in Sioux City.

Such a great team! They were kind enough to come meet me and deliver a part when my oil cap broke off and I got stranded. Very understanding and very helpful. Would go to them for all my auto needs if I lived in the area.

I hate giving bad reviews because i don't want to be a "karen" Unfortunately, I just had to walk out of this store because I couldn't get assistance. There was one employee working hard and helping another customer. The other two girls and one guy were too busy visiting and flirting with each other to even talk to customers despite the fact we were lined up waiting for the guy that was actually helping customers. I felt bad for him because his coworkers didn't even ask him if he needed help. After about 10+ minutes I decided to just drive a little further down the street to AutoZone. They need to have a meeting of customer service and teamwork.

Came in looking for a fuse. First off lady seemed to not care and I told her I would go see what model I had and then she came back to the register annoyed when I walked in a few minutes later with all the information. I explained I needed this blue fuse and showed her a video where the guy names it verbatim and they did everything in their power to not… work? I told him he could come out and look and he said he’d have to pull it out etc… I told him what it was for and they just didn’t want to help at all. Kinda disappointed me honestly.

I was having battery and/or alternator issues during our spell of negative temperatures and stopped into Advance Auto for a multimeter test. Jayden didn't blink an eye at the cold, completed the test and determined my battery was defective. Within minutes, he completed a warranty swap in the extreme cold and had the new battery installed. He was great and very helpful - an asset to their team! Thanks Jayden!
