The people there sold me a battery for my car that wasn't adequate for make and model. Even paid warranty for it. A week ago we went to have the battery replaced and from what my husband told me,the manager blamed their mistake on me. I gave them the right information about my car from the beginning and they were just interested in getting my money as a customer.

The general manager Michael H. is truly one of a kind! he goes out of his way to help his customers to an extent that I have not seen anywhere else in his industry. Even when I found a better price on a less quality product online, he was able to provide a attractive alternative by manipulating the store price to compete. I've never had someone go that far out of their way for me at an auto parts store before! Don't let the location deter you, if you are in need of quality auto parts, and you demand great customer service, then this is the store for you!

Employee name Kimber if I remember correctly was the rudest and wasn't helpful I knew more than there employees so how do they work there makes no sense I told him that was wrong part he corrected me it was right part and said if I was gonna complain and argue to leave the store not good experience and I'll just go to my regular parts store from now on advance you losing customers because of rude employees

Mike is AWESOME!!! He took care of me right away and helped me put power steering fluid in and asked me to come back the next morning to keep an eye on it. He really cares for his customers. I will definitely come back to this specific store.

The guy who helped me with my purchase was named Todd. He was very helpful. He even went out and raised the hood of my vehicle to be sure of what I needed. Someone should give that man a pay raise. He was very polite and informative and I will definitely be back to that location in the future.

This one is the best one in all of Gastonia. They make you feel welcomed, and are pretty friendly. Compared to the one on W Franklin, these guys on S York are angels! I won't go to the other location again.

UPDATE: Here I am again at Advance Auto to get another battery. 252.00 later they are installing it for me. Not without issue's. But ty guys for helping Had to go buy a battery for my car and they usually do the installation. Well he did it, but not before he had to physically and not easily remove the other one. It was so rusted out and corrosive that it took him over an hour to replace it. I just hope the cash I gave him made the trouble worth it. Thank you so much. I was working at the DC 25 plant but it just proved to be too much for me. But I appreciate everything and everyone there.

I wouldn’t ever suggest buying parts from here.After insisting that the part they sold would work it didn’t. When we came back to exchange,the part we needed wasn’t there and they refused to give our money back. After an hour of debating they finally gave my money back minus $40.Terrible customer service and there over all knowledge of car parts is very limited.

They have a nice selection parts and accessories Automotive needs. They have a nice selection of upgrade parts. And I also like there quality brand name parts and accessories. And their prices they average the same as the other quality named dealers. To me it is a great place to buy your parts. ☆Cowboy☆🇺🇸

Horrible customer service talked down to me like I don’t know the difference between limited life time and a life time warranty and with customer service the customer is always right and never heard of the supply house kicking back used brake pads they have a life time warranty that’s the life time of the vehicle means life time of the vehicle not defective use bc if that’s the case they wouldn’t replace them for improper handling of the pad and not replace them at all do to customer abuse not lifetime warranty for use

My passenger side head light was burned out . I I called advance auto on South Newhope and got a price for the part. I was told that they didn't know how to install it. I asked if it was difficult to replace and I was told to look it up in U tube. I was driving by advance auto on S. York St. I stopped in about the part. Dawson and Austin were very friendly and they installed the headlight for me and they didn't have to do it. That's exceptional customer service and they should be recognized for going above and beyond. I will begin shopping at this store from now on. Thank you for staffing helpful, friendly mature, employees. PS They both have beautiful hair 😀

NOT THIS STORES FAULT BUT I ordered items online because the price is better and came in to get them the next morning when the store opened but ended up waiting for than ½ hour because the order was not processed and customer service opens 30 minutes later than the store. Of course I could buy everything for $62 instead of the $51 online price and get going....NOT! BOTTOM LINE If you are in a rush use a different parts store that process their orders automatically overnight so you can get your stuff and get going!

The guy working this morning was absolutely terrible. My mom has a battery that was still under warranty said guy claimed he couldn't find it in the system after he has told my mom it was the starter and not the battery. Went to a local garage and was told starter was fine it was definitely the battery. Went back to get the battery and the gentleman acted pissed. Finally got the battery and now all is well. This gentleman should not represent your company!!We will not be back we will take our business to auto zone
