Went to the store around 7:30PM the customer service representative didn't want to wait on us was on the phone didn't even look for what I needed and turned around and said that we are out was looking for battery terminal screws and then went outside and got his vehicle will not be back I'll go to Autozone for all my vehicle needs

I would give it 0 stars if I could bought a battery and it was the wrong battery went to return and the manager tells me they don't return batteries even though their return policy states they do I do not recommend this location as they do not have the same policies as corporate Advanced Auto Parts buy things here with caution

Don’t shop here cause employees will assault you by throwing merchandise at you when they can’t get their way .I talked to the district manager Keith about it last year when it happened and he told me that he was going to terminate this employee.I went shopping there the other night and the supposedly banned employee showed up there late last night in his work clothes while driving a black pickup truck.He stared at me while go inside through the side door and then another employee came out the side for a few seconds and started staring at me and then went back in.Don’t shop here you been warned !

Dropping my son off at Auburn, and my battery light came on. Stopped in for them to run a diagnostic. They said they couldn’t run a diagnostic “due to covid”. But they said they could check the battery for me, but it would be a “few minutes”. They just sat there running inventory. I went down the street to Autozone. MUCH more customer-friendly. Much busier, but we’re able to help me right away.

Service engine light came on stop by to get a diagnosis done they said can’t do it due to Covid but why r u outside changing windshield wipers and checking batteries on other people cars. They r very rude. I took my services up the street to Autozone which was much professional. Don’t recommend the Advance Autopart store on Opelika Road in Auburn Alabama‼️‼️‼️‼️

Bottom line up front: This is a five start establishment. They have good Covid procedures, they're nice to you, they have what you need, and they'll help you get it. I had a dead battery while briefly staying in Alabama during the pandemic. I was worried I might be stranded, but saw online there was an Advance Auto not far away. I was able to jump my car and go there. I called ahead to see how they handled Covid and batteries. Turns out they let me order the battery online and pick it up curbside. And for my make and model, that curbside pickup included installation. I followed the online instructions for curbside pickup, and they came out and installed the battery. Everyone had on masks. I did have to sign a page for them, but otherwise there was no contact. They handed me that page through the cracked window and I signed and handed it back. Right now with all the stuff going on, I don't want to get sick and I don't want to get anybody else sick either. This location gets that and is cool with following the rules to keep everybody safe. I'd go back if I needed a car part in this area again and would absolutely recommend it to anybody else. Their online ordering system is very easy to use as well, and they have your order ready fast. They also offer some same-day delivery options if you can't get to them. I'm glad to hear it, because if I couldn't get the car jumped that might have been me needing it. I believe I spoke with a Stephen on the phone. He was very helpful. I don't think he was the same gentleman who changed my battery out, and unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but he was very helpful too.

Not only did he help me find the correct bulbs for a blown headlight and taillight, but he even showed me how to install it right then and there! Exceptional work and outstanding customer service. Can't say enough about these guys at the Advance Auto Parts at 446 Opelika Road. We were in Auburn for an appointment and had stopped to kill some time before a meeting. I must have left the switch on and when we got ready to go we had a dead battery. I called this location because I deal with them at my home location regularly and had purchased the battery from them originally. I had no way to get to them so the GM took it upon himself to run over and jump us off. We ran over to the store and they were able to look up the battery purchase date and found it was under warranty then test it to see if it was bad or just ran low. Turns out it was just low and cranked right up again and again. I promptly went inside and purchased a jump starter and some jumper cables to put in the SUV. These guys went above and beyond. After speaking with them I found out that several of the guy's had been there 17 years or more! That's unheard of now days. As a business owner that is always looking for dependable team members, I would suggest doing whatever it takes to keep these folks. They are definitely making Advance Auto Parts look good.

I went to AutoZone because of the gentleman and lady working last night around 4. Really a bummer. But AutoZone greeted me well, walked outside to help me, asked helpful questions, etc. I’m glad they were so close!
