I went to Advance Auto Monday and the guy with the nappy hair on his face(beard) on the second register act like it was such a problem to help me so I walked out but I had one more question so the hispanic guy helped me with my questions. I just have to say you don't need people working for you who act like they don't want to help a female. I would like to say thank you to the other guy (hispanic) and keep doing a good job.

I went there to get antifreeze ,and oil. One of the workers that assist me opened up the hood of my car checking to see what kind of antifreeze I need. He did not close the hood of my car properly . I left there and got on the highway,and my whole hood flew clean off!! almost hitting the car behind me.I almost died,and,people could have died,I called spoke with the manager and he didn't even care!! horrible experience I will never go back there!!!! PLEASE PEOPLE!! IF THEY OPEN YOUR HOOD,PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY CLOSE IT CORRECTLY BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF, I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED TODAY!

The workers there are friendly, they will literally help you go find what you're looking for rather than just tell you what isle. They also help you put on windshield wipers, put in oil, and help you figure out what you need. That's my new go to spot cause the other place on Salina just tells you what isle.

They don't help you put anything on your car at all. Feel that it's not far are right to the woman are men that don't no how to put anything on something simple. Like a light are windshield wrapers. They need to bring back helping do that again

Needed a gift for a mechanic. At first they showed me the basic things that I know he already have. Cant say that they were eager to help. But at the end he showed me a tool that can open any screw. This is cool. Got it.

I brought a charger 3 days ago but when I got home I decided I didn’t need it. When I took it back the lady was looking at it then she went to another guy and asked him something, so I said is there a problem she said she was checking to see if it was open, you can clearly see that it was not open. I don’t understand when you buy something they don’t give you a hard time but when you trying to return something they try to give you the third degree. I’m being nice by writing this review. The trashy woman lucky I didn’t call CORPORATE. I WAS IN THE STORE ON AUG.31 AT 2:30 pm.

Was ordering a part online for curbside and called the store to double check if it was the right one I needed for my car. I spoke to a guy named Kalvin. Kalvin gave me the best customer service over the phone. He was patient and gave me all the help I needed. This is exactly the customer service that should be provided unlike other auto part stores in this area. Great Job Kalvin.

Usually knowledgeable staff. Would have given 5 stars but I called and asked for a filter which they said they had available and would set aside for me. I arrived 30 minutes later to purchase only to be informed that the computer said it's in stock but they couldn't find it. Wish they would have called me and informed me that they couldn't find it. I don't blame the employee for the mishap. Would suggest in the future that if the computer says only a few available having the employee confirm before having a customer drive there.

Been here several times and received the wrong parts and wrong information. It's small but the other day I purchased a battery for my key fob, the lady sold me the wrong size. When I came back in FROM their parking lot she refused to refund me saying it was an open package and against store policy. She SOLD it to me not even 5 minutes ago, I never even left their parking lot. She was very rude and cost me 10$. I'll never go there again

They scammed me! Staff was very friendly and overly eager to help, almost to the point it seemed strange. Looked at my receipt the next day and they added extended warranty on everything I bought without asking me. I would have definitely not added extended warranty on wiper blades, I mean come on. Taking this to my credit card company. Editing to add my response to their response: Further coaching opportunity? How about making it right with the customer who was defrauded? Please direct me to the easiest way to address this, my time is valuable, but this is a matter of principle. I should not need to jump through hoops because of unscrupulous actions taken by your staff. Unrequested items circled in photo. 2nd Edit: As suggested, I tried using their support chat and they weren't able to give me a refund yet. I now have to wait for someone, presumably in store, to call me at a time that is convenient for them, but likely not me. So it's time to wait and see if Advance has any intention of making this right. I find it troubling how quick someone was to respond to my review with buzzwords like "further coaching opportunity", but when it comes to making things right, the gears slow substantially. Caveat Emptor. EDIT #3: It's now been 72 hours since I reached out to Advanced Auto Parts. The "Support Center" suggested in AAP's response was not able to process a refund or provide really any help at all and said the local store would reach out to me. I've heard nothing over three days and have decided to pursue this with Amex. TLDR: Local store tried to pull a fast one on me. Reached out to corporate as I frankly don't trust the local store. No action taken by AAP corporate. Perfect storm of ineffectual corporate culture, sales staff with questionable ethics likely motivated by bonuses for number of extended warranties sold and either a communication gap or just old fashioned apathy on the part of local management. I'll take this as a cheap lesson to NOT shop at Advanced Auto Parts, this location or otherwise.

The place is alright when da manager tyshell not there . Her & the short light skinned funky of hers sabotaged my refund. When I came to have them fix it . Coworker called manager, manager did not know her job at Dat moment or how to do the refund for online orders or at least she claimed she didn't. Then she left store while I was calling the higher ups to let them know the situation. 20 min later while on the phone was approached by sheriff's, which was determined that I did nothing wrong & was asked to leave the property. I've been having issues with her everytime im in the store cause I don't want her help, because of an incident earlier in the yr . While I was looking for parts to a different vehicle & she kept trying to have me get part for the vehicle I was driving instead. She is a bad look for management & advanced auto as a whole
