Not from DC, so I searched google for suggestions as I had been having brake issues. AF Auto seemed to have solid reviews. Spent $1100 to supposedly get all NEW brakes, rotors, calipers. I was assured all would be good. 2 weeks later, thumping came back and I started having issues with my brakes again. Went in for my vehicle inspection today, and to my surprise I was told that I would need all new brake parts again as the ones from AF were incorrectly installed, the WRONG parts, and even missing some of the parts they said they would install all together. Very dangerous. Aside from the brakes: I kept getting reoccurring flats on 1 tire and AF Auto first attempted to patch it (flat the next day) and then the second time coming back they put a used tire on (went flat 2 days later). Took it to another mechanic and it was revealed to actually be my rim lol. Last but not least, two of my hub caps were completely cracked/shattered upon receiving my vehicle back from AF. Know that these words are truthful and please do your research. I think the guys who helped me were kind, but I do feel like they wanted to do a quick and easy job while neglecting quality and thoroughness. Did not have a good experience.★☆☆☆☆ a week ago

On my way into DC I hit something on the highway (I think) and it did a number on the exhaust system. I didn’t know if there was any other damage. I was town for a conference and needed to find a mechanic! I searched for a shop near me and A F showed up in my results. I called early Tuesday evening and he got me in the next morning.
