When I tell you 5 stars just isn’t enough for this business alongside Chris and Ally. When you think of people going above and beyond for their customers, Chris and Ally are above that. Absolutely incredible service and hospitality. I had my 4runner undercoated with Chris, preparing for the winter and it came out incredible. Unfortunately the undercoat came off the next day due to some poor decisions washing the car. I contacted Chris if he would touch up my undercoat again and instantly booked me an appointment to get it fixed. And no I do not know him personally. Chris and Ally treat customers like their own family and I cannot recommend anyone else except them for all your detailing and undercoating needs. You guys have a forever customer over here.

Just had my Lincoln Town Car FluidFilm'd. I did originally have an appointment scheduled later within the week, but I was desperate, so I crossed my fingers, called and asked for an earlier appointment because of Buffalo's wonderful winter and surprisingly they squeezed me in. I was very impressed with their service. The owners are so personable and truly have passion in what they do. They also charge a very reasonable price too.

My entire experience with 716 Coatings was perfect. From the initial phone call seeking information, to scheduling, to dropping off and picking up my vehicle, everything was flawless. Chris and Ally are incredibly friendly and professional and it genuinely feels like they have your and your vehicle’s best interest in mind. I can’t say enough good things about Chris and his coating business. My schedule is incredibly hectic being a tractor trailer driver but Chris made sure to accommodate. I spoke with him for a couple weeks prior to bringing my truck to him because my truck had obtained some scratches from a garbage can in a wind storm. He assessed the damage and assured me he could correct it and suggested various services. I brought my vehicle to him in the morning for an undercoating and a paint correction with polish and he had it all done later that day. He even went out of his way to drive me home when I couldn’t get a ride. All in all the pricing and the service is very on par with what you receive. My trucks paint looks like glass and Chris even went above and beyond to surprise me by putting a product on my windshield. I’m very happy with the job done and also with how Chris explained the aftercare for what he had done. Additionally, the undercoating service was amazing and the frame of my truck looks awesome. If you are in the market to get Fluid Film applied to your vehicle then look no further and go to Chris. I’ll absolutely be back next year for another coat of products.

Great experience with 716 Coatings! Had I tried to do it myself, it probably would have taken all day compared to what Chris accomplished in less than hour. More importantly, he had the equipment and expertise to do a far superior job than I could have even attempted. He got into nooks and crannies I wouldn’t have even considered. Not only does he know what he’s doing, but it’s obvious he truly loves cars and trucks. Knowledge, experience, and passion for protecting vehicles here in the rustbelt is the recipe for a stellar job. They also happen to be genuinely nice people, and are a true “mom & pop business.” They are doing the work themselves, as opposed to paying some inexperienced kid a low wage to do the actual application, so you know it’s a superior service. It’s now been four months and 9,000 miles after they did my first application, and the fluid film is holding on as it should. I was hesitant about even purchasing a used 4Runner knowing how the salty roads of winter here in Buffalo can quickly destroy the frame and steel parts of most vehicles, and the 4Runner frame is especially susceptible to corrosion. After reading about how great a product fluid film is, and seeing how thorough a job they did, I feel super confident about the fluid film application 716 Coatings applied to my car. 10/10 will use them again!

This is my first time bringing my Mitsubishi Mirage here. They did an absolutely fantastic job on the rustproofing. They're friendly and knowledgeable, just down to earth. When the time comes to have the car done again for rustproofing, I'm bringing it back for a second time. Update on 11/25/2025: My first car that I brought there which was my Mitsubishi was totaled, so I went and bought a Subaru Impreza and brought it to 716 Coatings for both rustproofing and for ceramic waxing, which includes paint correction, and also they buffed my lights since they were hazy from the weather. Chris never fails to impress. These people are the best in the business. Believe me, trust them and they'll do right by you always.

Fantastic folks. I have been undercoating vehicles myself for many years using fluid film. Hands down, this is the best rust prevention product on the market. I have always been quite particular and detailed with my rust proofing applications. So, why would an experienced rust proofer hire out? Age, please enjoy your youth. At first, I was skeptical hiring out a job that I have done myself for years. WOW, WOW, WOW, upon inspection, 716's application and attention to detail was first rate. THICKNESS MATTERS.... I have seen other jobs where some shop pinches pennies to save money on expensive product leaving only a thin coating requiring you to come back evey year due to natural wear. 716 applied a long lasting multi year very thick coating on our vehicle. Their application will last several years before a touch up is needed. PRICE: Hands down, you won't find a better deal in WNY. OWNERS: I'm impressed, pleasant, upbeat, and very personable, truly our experience was absolutely amazing.

After doing a bit of a deep dive looking in to undercoatings for the upcoming winter, came across Chris' shop recommended on a Reddit thread. Reading reviews made me decide to give him a try and I called to schedule appointment. From the initial phone call, Ally was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Gave a thorough explanation of what they do for the undercoating. She was very personable on the phone, not what I am used to when dealing with most businesses. It was less a client-sales person vibe, and more like you getting in touch with a friendly acquaintance that you've known for some time. Refreshing. At the actual appointment, both Chris and Ally were extremely friendly, laid back and charismatic. That same feeling I had when on the phone, continued in person with both of them treating you more like a friend than just a client or sale. They chatted, explained, asked questions to get to know a little bit about me. Chris loved my salmon pink sunglasses in my fire red Prius and called it a "power move" They got the job completed in about a half hour, and did it for 15 dollars less than I was quoted on the phone. Easy to decide that I will be coming back next year to keep up my car care with them. Easy to support people who clearly want to do good for their customers, and bring a truly personable approach to this which is again, highly refreshing.

I got the 10+ year Ceramic coating on my 2004 Escalade. Chris did a fantastic job making sure the paint was perfect before applying the coating. After having the car ceramic coated for a few months now I can definitely say it’s worth it. The beads it makes on the paint is unbelievable and it’s super easy to wash. I also have been going to Chris for undercoatings for 3 consecutive years now and can say he doesn’t miss a spot. Chris and Ally are Very professional and treat your car like it’s their own. 10/10 experience every time.

From the moment I messaged them last year to get my pride and joy in for Paint correction, Ceramic Coating, and Fluid Film undercoating, I have been very pleased with the service they provide. My ceramic coating over the last year has withstood the wny elements with ease! The Ceramic Coating makes washing my truck a breeze, and the undercoating is oil based and soaks into the frame and under-components and protects like no rubberized coating could ever!
