The Walmart and employees are not terrible. The only issue I have is when you go in about 7ish to 8ish the whole side of self checkout is already shut down. Making the wait time longer.

I went there several months ago. I had to wait for a tow truck because my car wouldn't start for some reason. It was in great condition but very strange why it wouldn't start that night. One of Walmarts employee parked across from me the whole time and was stalking me. I was very scared thus the second my car decided to start, I just wanted to leave immediately. Unfortunately, I bumped into their shopping cart because it was very foggy and was in the blind spot. And the employee stalking me made me feel unsafe and very uncomfortable. Approximately, one week after I received a notice from the DMV saying I had to see an ophthalmologist immediately or my license would be revoked. I'm for sure that stalking employee called the DMV on me and probably made up some lies. I went to the ophthalmologist and my vision was just like before, no issues. Sadly, it costed me lots of money out of pocket fir tge ophthalmologist. The employee at this location on Cherry road just wanted to give me a hard time for parking there which I had no choice because of the situation with my car. The employees are unfriendly and will make up lies to get you in trouble with the DMV or anyone else they could report to. It was my first time there and my last. Watch out!!! And they never pick up the phone. Manager on duty never answer or talks to customers. Thus, I had to write this review sadly. Very mean employees, Be aware!!!!

Good selection at this little market. Eggs are way too expensive right now though. Check out their cajun turkey breast lunchmeat in the deli, it is amazing! Looks like real turkey, not typical lunchmeat. Hot dogs for .86 can't beat that. I only ever buy beef hot dogs, but throw these in some baked beans and it's a super cheap meal!

Made online order this morning waited all day to be delivered to the wrong place without confirmation number of order and they tell me I can't get my order at all today plus someone else have my order now for free

Called 7/29/25 to let them know i purchased a tube of sausage that was swollen & smelled like death (the whole sausage/bacon section smelled vile & EVERY BRAND was swollen). The woman rudely cut me off to tell me bring it back with a receipt but, never addressed the serious issue of selling SPOILED ROTTEN MEAT IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER. The refrigerator part isn't working. I went back later on the issue STILL had yet to be addressed & fixed. Disgusting

First time I've been in one of these half Walmart's. I was impressed, not a real large selection of food but good for what you need . I enjoyed my visit to this mini Walmart. Loved not fighting the regular larger Walmart crowds.

I don't usually get the kind of service from Walmart stores that I got today. But it just goes to show, once again, that it all comes down to people. I went in for allergy pills and asked the first person I saw (his name was Young per his name tag) which aisle they were on. He walked me over to the aisle, very friendly and happy to help. Then he went and got the key when I saw that what I wanted was locked. He even helped me calculate which was the better deal between two different bottles with different amounts. Then when I asked if it was okay if I took the bottle behind the one up front which was kind of mangled, he said, "of course, you're the buyer." He was great. Probably the best costumer service I have ever received in a Walmart.

It's a bit confusing when you are trying to checkout but can't determine if the cashiers lane is open or closed. It would be very helpful to know when a lane is actually open so everyone does not have to use self checkout at the same time.

I went in the store early.in the morning needing only a few items. I don't use the Walmart app so I needed a regular cashier. There were none. I asked the female employee overseeing self check where to check out. She totally ignored me. Then I asked a different female employee the same question. She said she didn't handle that and refused to say anything else. So strange. Finally the customer service lady checked me out since I only had three items. This store has a really bad vibe, and I doubt I'll shop there again.

9AM and all of the refrigerator sections were blocked off. This happens frequently. Couldn't get breakfast items like eggs, milk, creamer, fruit, etc. Employees restocking and then leaving empty carts sideways in the isle. Today, 1 employee looked at me as he walked away after leaving a giant metal cart blocking the entire aisle. Zero customer service. Employees talking on their phones and just not looking like they care. The only ever have 3/4 of their self checkout kiosks are closed so there's lines at all hours of the day. This comes down to laziness and terrible management. The only people who seem to care, are the awesome guys who bring out online orders. They rock.

I was checking the tires on my mustang after I got my groceries because there was some very unfavorable Individuals checking out my car before I went into the store, one of your cart getters called me “crazy” for looking at my own car. White guy with a beard. Was 10 pm at night last night. I guess I’d go around insulting people too if I had to collect carts in the rain on a Friday night.

I go here because it's quick, but they are going down hill. They have yogurt on the shelf that expired the beginning of this month or the middle of last month. I had to sort through it to find a good one. I didn't catch that the granola bars I just bought were expired until I got home. Be careful or you will pay full price for expired food!

Took cashier 40 mts .check out 1 customer, not a lot of groceries. 3 people infront of me...3 behind. .Another cashier opens. And the 3 people behind me...just been in line a few minutes...goes to that register. I'm done with Cherry Road Walmart! Newport Wal-Mart cleaner and cashiers are working. I seldom write a bad review but this has happened way to many times, no matter the time you shop.

I placed an order for 3 items through my paid subscription to Walmart+. I added the tip when I placed the order. When the order was delivered, one of the 3 items was said to be 'unavailable.' I immediately went to the store and the item was on the shelf in the exact spot the website said it should be. So the shopper didn't even bother to look for it. I didn't feel good about leaving a tip when I had to go to the store anyway, but there was no option to reduce the tip. From now on, I will be adding my tip after delivery. In the past, I have gone to the site to increase the tip for exceptional service, but there should be a way to reduce as well.
