The Walmart Neighborhood Market near me has the friendliest employees. When they see me looking up, they come over and ask if they can reach something for me. ๐ Yes, and they get it for me. I'm 5'1".

The associates at the Neighborhood Market in my area are the best. They approach me and offer assistance. I'm short, so when they see me looking up, they ask if they can get something from the top shelf for me. ๐

Some of the managers are above-average, which gives the store a solid rep. I don't like some of the employees around the kiosks or cashing out, but most of them are decent. But the reason for not receiving 5 stars is because they are often out of products or do not have a diverse arrangement of food products. I know it's a smaller walmart, but I have to drive or veo to different locations to get the things I want as they had the space for the items I get, but they chose to put other items that are not as good as the ones I like there. Really I should do 3 stars for that, but I'm going to be nice and leave it there.

Never have ribs available for LUNCH (12-1). Nobody wants that chicken so it's all on sale bc nobody's buying it. There are so many fast food chicken chains on MLK that people will go there if they want chicken. However, I give the Pharmacy 5 stars, they are great.

Nice convenient neighborhood Walmart. Tried the curbside delivery here a couple of times now and usually they have all the products we requested and of a good quality. Itโs not as busy as the other Walmart on MLK which I also think is a plus. Like the other Walmarts in the area the service is good and employees are polite.

Okay store for a quick grocery run. The staff members are mostly polite and helpful. However, today I had a weird and negative experience - I walked away from my shopping cart to look for something from the next aisle. The cart was gone when I came back. I was away for 5 minutes max. Turned out, a representative thought the cart was abandoned and started using it to pile returned items at the customer service area. The customer service lady who spoke to me didn't apologize at all when I told her it was my cart. Luckily, I only had a handful of items and was able to retrieve most of them. I can't imagine if it was a full cart, and I would need to do the entire shopping again. I wish it was handled more carefully and professionally. Now I'm paranoid - what if it happens again?

They locked doors 7 min before store closed at 11. With Walmart already having lowered hours over the years this is unacceptable needed something for an emergency. Brown haired dude with beard and glasses small shorter man denied me entry after knocking and asking to get the thing I needed and be checked out before 11. Some ppl clearly wanna be off early instead of doing their job.

The pharmacy wouldn't give me extra syringes for drawing up even though plenty of other pharmacies have done so in the past. When the pharmacist was asked about giving extras he said "one set per vial". Only realized after leaving that that's bs because my script clearly states I need to use each vial twice meaning two sets per vial and they have now made my uneven syringe set issue even worse by providing me half of what I needed. No clue why this pharmacy is stingy when every other walmart pharmacy will provide syringes even when I'm not picking up scripts considering this happens so often.

Honestly another average Walmart. This one is smaller than usual and it doesn't have a big variety on products. My favorite part of it is the parking lot i have beautiful memories in it. If you gave me the option of another grocery store i would. Do not go from 6-7pm thats the university rush hour.

Usually a good experience, love the new sushi addition. BUT. The past few visits Iโve noticed expired orange juice. Gallon sized, some were from December 2024. Obviously we need to check before we buy but the fact itโs been multiple times, get it together yโall. Stop selling OJ that expired last year!

By Walmart standards, this seems to be one of the better run stores. One of the cleanest Walmarts I've ever been in, though that is a low bar to clear. Staff did not seem run ragged like they do at 95% of the Walmarts I've been to, so they were able to take their time and help me when I needed it, even if they weren't proactively friendly (which doesn't seem to be a thing at any Walmart anymore). Selection is limited, but that is to be expected from a neighborhood market, so no complaints there. I did find the layout very counter-intuitive, and had quite a lot of trouble finding the drinking water as well as the stationary section, but I still found them eventually, the latter with the help of an associate. My one big complaint is associates smoking in front of the building. Other Walmarts I've been to have a place away from customers for associates to smoke, but I've seen at least one associate, whose name tag says Cathy, who frequently stands by the bike posts in front of the store in the mornings, smokes, and listenes to videos on her phone โ and the smoking is gross.

I really like this Walmart for a quick grocery stop. It is the closest to the university so it has much more deli, prepared meals, and quick foods than other Walmarts in the area. It always seems to be well stocked too. Bonus : there is a really good food truck right by the parking lot too!

It really grinds my gears how you pay extra for Walmart plus membership and then when you use scan and go number one, you have to wait in line forever you don't get it just scan and go, but then once you finally get to a register and scan then an employee has to come and search your bags like you've stolen things before you're allowed to leave. It feels very invasive not sure this feature is gonna work when you treat your customers like criminals.

The pharmacy here really makes you feel like they care, I've recently had alot going on with med changes and Tyler was aware of the changes and very informative. Great experience every time we visit.

I hate it here. It's an absolute dystopian nightmare. The AI overhead scanner cameras accuse me of stealing at the self checkout constantly, but there are never real cashiers working. Lines get absurdly long at times. Prices seem to go up on a weekly basis and now they have digital pricetags so that they can increase prices as frequently as possible

We want more cashiers we don't want it to be all self-checkout and one cashier. Also Walmart really needs to get rid of personal shopping. People in the store trying to shop have to try to move out of the way of these big bins on Wheels being wheeled around so that the employees can shop for people who don't want to come in the store. That type of service should only be for people who are disabled and unable to walk.
