Order meds via automated phone service, receive email next morning stating "Your RX is ready", drive 45 minutes from home to be told "we don't carry that med here, it has to come from central supply, will be here tomorrow." This happened every refill! Only used Walgreens due to Cigna insurance discount.

Scheduled a vaccine appointment for 10 am. I got an email saying to be there at 9:45. I got there on time and sat down in the waiting area because a lady told me that they open at 10. I sat there waiting for another 20 minutes before I went and asked what was going on. They said they were “short staffed” and actually were opening at 10:30 today. I received no email, nothing letting me know that my appointment would be moved or delayed almost an hour: I had to leave to go to class and then work afterwards so I couldn’t end up getting my vaccine at all. Completely unprofessional and a huge waste of my time. There is a young girl that works at the front register that is extremely kind though and she is the only positive thing about this place. Will not be back!

I've had two bad experiences with this Walgreens. The first one was after my husband was in a major head on collision and his doctor had given him a prescription for pain medication. They told me they didn't have it, but I could give him Tylenol which was the same. No it wasn't! I told them to give me the original prescription and I would have it filled somewhere else. Lo & behold when I returned to pick up the prescription they miraculously were able to fill the original prescription of pain meds. The second bad experience was when I had an appt. for a covid booster shot. I got there and they told me they were out and that the website doesn't tell you when you are out. They told me to go to another Walgreen's in town & that they should honor my appt. I went to the one they suggested, but they said that they weren't allowed to do that & that they were all booked up so I couldn't make an appointment there. I drove over to UAMS and received my booster within 20 minutes. Don't use Walgreen's, especially the one on school. They are incompetent!

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. Hope you don’t need any life saving medicine because they will not communicate with you and delay your prescription up to a week. Just for a prescription refill I have been calling 3 days just to be placed on hold for a hour at a time. The few times the phone is answered, the staff will literally place the phone somewhere so it will stop ringing

Terrible! If you need medication, DO NOT count on this location. Paid $8 for same-day delivery due to be being unable to drive, and the medication was never delivered. Trying to get in touch with anybody was fruitless. Calls either go unanswered, or are answered and then hung up. Even the online chat was no help, they just disconnected the chat after being told the problem. Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy.

Horrible customer service. I was driving through on a trip and I bought two items at another Walgreens. I tried to use the first item and it did not work so I threw it away and then attempted to return the unopened (still sealed) item with full receipt a few days later. The clerk had to get The manager because she was unable to return it and the manager with purple hair came to help and she told me that they don’t carry this item in their exact store so they would not return it for me. The Walgreens receipt even says if we “are unhappy with our purchase.. return it to ANY nationwide store within 30 days” and I will be refunded for the original purchase price… I had the receipt… It was only a few days ago and it was completely unopened. They refused to refund and return it or even give me store credit because “they don’t have a spot for this item on their shelf”. They said I had to drive two hours to the Walgreens I bought it at to refund or get a store credit even though I had my receipt. Unbelievable.

Have been short staffed for a long long long time, more recently they have finally hired more people to help out and if they would just open the pharmacy back up on the weekend this store would actually be great now. Sad thing is the bad reviews are mainly due to a lack of staff - which affects almost all operations, and appointment. If they could open pharmacy back up on weekends & start stocking the fridges in the front and snacks/candy instead of letting the shelves be completely wiped clean for weeks - then I could give them 5* ! This store has made huge improvements, keep it upnb

I called to refill my prescriptions yesterday. When I arrived, there was a sign on the window saying the intercom was malfunctioning and prescriptions had to be dropped off and picked up inside. I knocked on the window trying to make them understand I didn't consider it safe to go inside, but the personnel just kept repeating the intercom was broken and I had to come inside. The person I talked to on the phone didn't even bother to tell me that I'd have to come inside -- during a pandemic -- instead of using the drive-thru. So I drove 20 miles for nothing. This isn't the first time I've had communication issues with this store and made a trip for nothing as a result. My prescriptions were already paid for by insurance. If the drawer was working, all that would have been necessary was for me to hold my ID up to the glass and for them to put the prescriptions in the drawer for me. Instead, I had to go all the way back to Winslow without my medicine.

Whoever the District Manager of this pharmacy is should hang their head in shame for allowing so few staff members to be abused and mistreated by their patients and lack of staffing. The DM needs to allocate staff to this location or lose their job. The pharmacist is too busy playing catch up to breathe, the techs are cursed out by patients constantly, there *IS NO ONE* to answer the phone. Which seems to be one of the major complaints. I'd bet money that corporate punishes the staff here as if all these complaints are their fault. It isn't. It's corporate's. If you would pay better you'd have more applicants and more people to work the store. You should have another local pharmacy hand out business cards and encourage transferring out temporarily until you have more staff at this location. I'm half tempted to report this to the BBB. The amount of work you expect this few staff to accomplish is disgusting.

The pharmacy department at this Walgreens has made massive strides in quality of care and customer service and it shows. The pharmacists, technicians, and staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re getting what you need, when you need it, and take the time to help customers navigate the massive red tape of insurance demands, approvals, denials, etc. The staff is friendly, helpful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Yes, you may have to wait - but it’s a location that’s dealing with explosive population growth - and they are clearly doing the best they can. Love this pharmacy 🙂 ALSO. Regional Manager - truly hope you are rewarding these employees with the compensation and benefits they deserve. They work their tail ends off!

this Walgreens is the only one I go to. The pharmacy here is beyond helpful. The pharmacist, Kyle, and Collin the tech tried for two days to get my prescriptions for the lowest cost. Insurance wasn’t helpful but those two made my inhaler affordable. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be able to walk up a flight of stairs. I love this pharmacy

An employee circled me 4 times in the span of 5 minutes while I was trying on wrist braces. She never deemed me worthy of asking if I needed help since she just assumed I was going to steal them. I didn't get a brace because all the ones for the right wrist were out stock and the space for it was filled with the wrong items

This review is specifically for the pharmacy tech with curly hair and I’m so sorry I cannot remember his name! But he is absolutely amazing. Every time I come to grab my prescriptions he is so helpful and kind. I had my dog with me in the car the other day and he even sent some little treats out for him with my meds! Thank you so much for being you pharmacy tech man!

I was being constantly harassed by a grown man . I am a minor I was just going in to get some Halloween decorations and he kept trying to talk to me. His name was Roberto. He was asking me inappropriate questions throughout my time there. I will never go back there again!

Waited at the desk to pick up my photos for 25 minutes. No one was helping the one lady running the register so it took forever.

This location is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE to shop at. There is rarely anyone at the front to check people out, and anytime you ask for help the employees treat you like you are a bothersome, annoying, pest.

I made an appointment for vaccinations at 3 PM. I arrived a few minutes early to allow time for any check-in and paperwork. Check-in was via scanning a QR code. I did that. About 10 minutes later, I was called to the window to complete some paperwork. From there, the employee at the register said he would prepare my vaccination kit. Okay, well I had reservation so I'm not sure why that wasn't already prepared. But then, he proceeded to continue to serve new customers as they arrived to pick-up prescriptions and the like. I had an appointment and was kept waiting. Finally, at 3:30 PM, no new customers had arrived for a few minutes and he got the vaccinations assembled and called me in to get mine. I don't understand what the appointment is for. It was exactly the same as if I had simply walked-in i.e., he worked on the vaccination when he no other customers in line for prescriptions. I was the last priority. If that's their process, fine. But don't allow customers to think they actually have an appointment that schedules them at a specific time. The actual vaccination (not including the waiting) didn't take longer than the typical customer coming for a prescription either.

Woooww😳😳😳😳 I had the shock of my life this evening at the Walgreens pharmacy on school Ave closer to the neighborhood market on MLK. I got in line at the drive through at exactly 6:52pm waiting for the car in front to finish getting served. I was the ONLY customer left at the drive through, but it took a bit longer time for the car in front to finish. As this driver left, I pulled infront of the window and they closed it immediately. This pharmacy doesn’t open on weekends, so I was really surprised to get such a “wonderful” customer experience. Stood there in shock while one of them peeped through the window looking at me. REMEMBER I GOT IN LINE BEFORE 7pm

Set up same as always, store is clean and kept up well. I went to the restroom while here this time and there was someone cleaning it right then, but he immediately said he would come back...let me use the clean facility without delay. The service lady at the front was so super sweet and helped me with everything plus a thing or 2 I needed Only note here .... There was only the one customer service person there so there was a little bit of a wait due to the line. Not even long enough to skip a beat, on my way with a smile.
