It may be silly but I am sad to find out the Rainbow Coat is not a special formula of soap, they just use”fun” LED lights during the wash. I may have not noticed if my four year old hadn’t pointed out to me that the soap didn’t change colors like we are use to. I asked a service personnel thinking my car just didn’t receive the higher priced package I paid for, he offered a second wash after confirming it is the same standard soap as the other packages but with an LED light show, I had to decline due to the wait but glad to know what I actually paid for.

Poor customer service after my vehicle was hit going through the car wash. Attendant on duty refused to listen to my concern about there being no signal to move forward when there's a problem, blaming me for stopping at the end of the belt. This is the second time I am canceling the subscription. I will not be reinstating it. Most of the time, you have to run through the carwash multiple times to get your car clean.... Buyer Beware!

I have been here twice. The first time the car wasn’t cleaned in some spots. The second time the belt stopped and the car was stuck in the wash. I don’t recommend going here.

The monthly plan is very very good. I often have problems entering the actual wash. The downhill slope always has me entering too fast. I always need to leave plenty of room after the car ahead of me.

I typically don't have any problems. Today was as good as usual. But, on Wednesday, I brought my dad's pickup truck to run it through. I purchased the $20 wash, and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed in that particular wash! The tires were dull, and the dryers did an awful job. I took it home and re-washed it by hand and had to spray tire shine on the tires!! On a scale of 1-10, I would have given it a 2!!!

Decided to try it and give it the benefit of the doubt but don't think I'm coming back.. many of the reviews date back from 2020 and it's late 2022 and seems like the same issues are still happening.. very disappointing and makes you think that there's no will to fix the issues. Truck was washed alright.. I mean it went through a car wash so something gets washed but what was very disappointing was the tire shine as I really like that and it's why I buy it... The tire wash and shine it's just bad.. you can see through the rims and around the tires that nothing it's being done.. they just probably get wet as they go through the car wash and that's it.. instead of tire shine, it seems like tire watering

Been a member of this car wash for quite a while. At first liked it. It was convenient and usually quick and did a good job. Seems like the past six months anytime I go there maybe just bad timing. The car wash is broken. I have been trying to go there since Friday since I pay for a monthly plan. Not to once has this place gave a credit for wash being broke. Started to call now before I go there to see if it’s working was told today it was working just fine. So stopped what I was doing and took my vehicle down there. When I got there, it was broke down again. Canceled membership today. I would much rather give my monthly fee to somebody else that’s more consistent.

Cleans my car good enough. Doesn’t dry the vehicle well. No towels offered to do it myself. Water spots all over my vehicle. Vacuum is terrible. This place is just good enough.

Car might actually come clean if one of the 5 workers in the office would come out and spray your grille and windshield. I always have to go to the self serve car wash across the street and finish rinsing off the soap as well... UPDATE: Funny you have this sprayer right inside the entrance to the car wash. Seems like it could be used to spray the grilles and windshields of cars?

Their so called works….water spots everywhere 10 minutes after leaving and their car wash did not break my antenna but legitimately pulled it out of the body of my truck so now there is body work that needs to be done so beware!! And all I get is sorry can’t help…garbage! Will be going elsewhere

Friendly service. 5 stars if tire shine was capable of more even coverage. Took F150 through and did not get shine on all parts of tire. Odd as it was areas on tread side that did not get shined but areas near rim did. All 4 tires had this issue. By reviewing other reviews, seems to be common issue. UPDATED 7/25/2020. Went through this car wash again and it seems the tire shine system has gotten worse... added pictures of tires this time. Literally only half the tire got shined... dropped initial star rating from 4 to 3. As long as you don't get the tire shine, you will be alright.

I changed it from 1 star to 5 star as Larry the manager did contact me and explain the reasons why the carwash was down. On those occasions that I went in to wash my vehicles and couldn't. Each time they were broke down, I was just unfortunately showing up at those times. Stroke of bad luck, I guess. Larry did make it right and was very nice to talk to and get the situation lined out. I hope they can get the equipment up and running better. But customer service definitely gets a 5 star.

The customer service is great. The attendants were all really friendly and attentive. The car wash itself however wasn't the best. I got the most expensive wash and my tires weren't even clean or "shined" as the description suggested. My truck wasn't super dirty so I'm a little disappointed. The picture posted is about 7 minutes after the wash. I won't be going back. If it wasn't for the customer service they'd probably be getting 2 stars.

If I could give zero stars I would. I would start with the condition of the property. I had a membership, and over the several months I was a member, one of the chamois inside of the car wash never worked. It was the last one before the blower, so whenever I would leave my car would have streaks on the back of it because there was nothing to wipe it off. There are massive potholes outside of the exit area, so my clean tires would have to go through dirty water to just exit the car wash. I was involved in a low speed accident INSIDE of the car wash and no one seemed concerned at all. I pulled back around to the window after the accident and the manager on duty was zero help. He said that there wasn't a problem inside of the car wash, which I questioned, because if everything was in proper working order the accident would have never happened. He smeared the front of my car with a paper towel and told me nothing was wrong with it. I had to ask multiple times for his name and left my name and number in case the car I rearended came back. When I went online to cancel my membership I noted all of the above items and no one attempted to reach out. With the number of car washes in this area there needs to be some above and beyond behavior to stand out. Apparently that isn't the case at this location so I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Been going there with monthly membership over a year. Seems like up keep is starting to lack last couple months. Have been very satisfied up until lately . Have marks on truck from debri in bushes. Mat washers are falling apart, jamming ,no spray, etc... Hoses missing off a few vacums. I hope things get better as weather warms

Tommys used to be a really good car wash when they first opened. It really took me some time to wanna make this review 😞 but ollies has proven to me that tommys car wash is doing something wrong because I can never get out of there without having to wipe off all the dirty water spots and dirt that was never on my truck to begin with. Not saying it's never dirty or has mud, but I do know when it does and this time and many of the other times it didn't and still came out dirty pretty much! You all used to act like you cared about people's vehicles by greeting them outside. Spraying off some stuff. Maybe the windows and now there's nothing and that is a extra step that really matters, especially when you don't clean or take care of your equipment properly because nine times out of 10. The very last dry brush is never working in the air. Pressure is up so high that it dents in tops of vehicles. And today to finish this review off. While exiting Tommy's car Wash I seen the tire shine literally scoot the back end of a Honda pilot over about 3 ft as they proceeded to step on the gas to get out of it. I just really think that Tommy's has dropped the ball. If you people have not went to Ollie's car wash yet, I advise you do so. They are killing the game! P. S. Your vacuum's are trash 🗑️ as well 🤷🏼‍♂️ I can't figure out how to put pics with this but ya oh well

I live in Evansville and drive past about a half dozen auto washes to come to Tommy's in Newburgh. I like the foam-type wash apparatus vs just high-power water or nylon revolving brushes on my hood & top of vehicle. The vacuum area allows ample room for cleaning. Vacuum suction is adequate, and I would prefer stronger. I returned from a 700+ road trip to Chicagoland and my first stop back in SW Indiana was to Tommy's to get salt and snow grime off the 'Sno Kona.' Update Feb 22: After 1100 miles in 4 days, my ride needed some serious love. Vacuum really sucked like it should to get dirt out of carpet. Appreciated the improvement!
