The car wash itself is nice. People are polite and friendly. I love the Coffee as well. However to spend my hard earned money here I’ve decided to stop simply because my car is never fully cleaned. The mats in my car are never placed back properly as they should be, water all around my trunk sometimes soap sits in the car emblem on the trunk. I find myself having to clean the inside and outside of my car after I paid $$ for it to be cleaned. People choose a wash like this so they don’t have to do the work, to have to go on top of the workers and clean your car additionally takes away the whole purpose of a convenient car wash. I think if they can set a standard with their employees on how each car should be cleaned and dried it would be great but I wouldn’t bother with this wash tub location in particular. It’s just doesn’t make sense financially or time wise.

Decent price if you have a coupon, other than that hopefully you're not in a lane that somebody actually forgets to give them the keys to their car. Or you're going to sit there forever and nobody's going to tell you anything. If you're outside waiting for your car you better hope the person who yells that your car is done has a really good set of lungs, cuz you're not going to hear it if you're sitting next to the machine.

Recently got my truck washed here and had a great experience. They did exactly what they said and the truck had a lot of dirt and grime on it. Professional level cleaning on the inside and out, I was very pleased. Would 10/10 recommend.

I bought into the monthly membership and they always do an amazing job. You wait comfortably inside their shop where you can purchase an assortment of items. While you wait you can also make yourself a cup of coffee.

Staff stripped the paint off the hood while using a high pressure power washer on the grille. Staff and management then claimed it’s my fault for having a stone chip in the paint. Since they are not taking responsibility I will file small claims lawsuit.

We found The Wash Tub shortly after moving to San Antonio last summer. We love how good they clean our vehicles. The staff are (mostly) friendly, professional, and personable. We get remembered from one visit to the next, which makes us feel appreciated, noticed, and like we are in a much (!!) smaller/homier town. The general manager Chris is very hands-on with the work, always has good conversation with us, and makes us feel important as customers. As he says, 'if the customers aren't here, we don't have a job.' So why only four stars? Not all of the employees make us feel as good as Chris, and other workers, make us feel. There is one worker who consistently tries to up-sell us each time we come in. Even after we tell him 'no' or 'no thank you', he continues to give his sales pitch until he decides he has said all he needs/wants to say. This dear soul does not realize that if he continues in this fashion, we will cancel our monthly subscription and go someplace else where we don't feel pressured to 'take advantage of this deal; it's only good for two more days.' The only other minor issue is that the cashier will disappear from the showroom without leaving a sign on the counter to say they have stepped away for a minute or two. They need to realize that a lesser person would use this as an opportunity to steal some of the pretty items that are on display, or walk out altogether without paying for anything. The only other desire for improvement is something we already talked to Chris about -- either decrease the smelly/perfumed items inside the showroom (or use non-scented cleaners) so folks can breathe, or else ask the owners to install a window so we can pay for our service(s) from outside without having to struggle to breathe through a transaction done at the counter inside. I realize this last suggestion could be pricey, but surely we're not the only ones who struggle to breathe in perfume-y situations, are we? Other than this, we truly love The Wash Tub and appreciate how good they make our vehicles look. See you next time! :-)

I am highly pissed that your closing this location i understand it may be a business thing but first and foremost I still hate the fact your closing the Austin highway location again every time I go there I get professional service and my car always turns out awesome thank you

I got my membership thru a dealership, best thing that ever happened to me, because I drive down from fort hood now known as fort Cavazos every weekend to hang out with my man and Everytime I come down I get my car washed here they have a cute little shop you can sit in while you wait for your car, thinking about getting a membership for my man for his birthday since they aren't too badly priced with the detail work that they do. Also just found out the they do military discount which is nice.

Chris and his team are amazing!! They seem to work well together!! They make sure everything is complete prior to calling out that the car is done!! A manager makes sure you take a look at your vehicle prior to getting in and leaving! Always job well done!

Just had a great experience at The Wash Tub! From the basic wash to full detailing, they’ve got solid options for every need. The check-in process was smooth and super organized, with easy access right off the street. The staff was respectful, professional, and took great care of my car. I appreciated how attentive they were—no rushing, just quality service. My car came out spotless and looking sharp! Bonus: they offer a military discount, which is always appreciated. Above and beyond is and understatement for what occurred here for me on a sunny June afternoon. I dropped off my car to be detailed with David who was exceptional with his intaking ability and assessing what my car needed for cleanliness. I left my car in his teams care while I went to the gym next door. As I finished my workout my car was completed on time with the estimation they had provided before me dropping it off. My car has never looked so clean. The only thing they could have possibly done better was replace the car with a new version and I’m still questioning whether they did that or not. My exterior shines and my interior is the cleanest it has ever been. I will use David, Nelly and Andres at the Austin Highway location exclusively from here on out. This service made me feel like a VIP.

Spent $250 to get my car detailed and waxed. Wax was extremely streaky and needs to be redone. The windows were not cleaned on the inside of the car. They also didn’t clean under the wipers. They wheels still had dirt all over them and they did not clean behind the wheels. Also, they missed several spots when cleaning the console. Even more disappointing is that they were suppose to shampoo the carpets but clearly didn’t do it completely as I lifted a floor mat and there was still dirt under the mat. Hard to shampoo where you didn’t even vacuum. I didn’t notice when I picked it up, was in a hurry. Called less than 30 minutes later and was told to submit an inquiry online. I did and have not got a response in over two weeks. Photos attached. Defiantly not a $250 detail job and literally made me spend more money to get my car properly waxed.

I’m on the road a lot for work so naturally my car gets dirty and dusty often especially being a black car. This is my favorite washtub location and for the monthly price the unlimited wash is great for me and they vacuum and do Light wipe down on the inside and call you from the waiting area when it’s ready which is awesome. They have a ton of locations which is super convenient for me although some of the locations aren’t great this one is. While the regular washes and quick cleans are great My only gripe would be when i add the paid detail services for a $169 detail I wish they did a better job it’s a pretty good chunk of change which I wouldn’t mind paying but Every-time I pick up my car there’s dust on it, water spots , streaks on the dash and just a very okay job for the price. Overall I recommend them for their washes but the detail services are just okay.

Very disappointed. The one time I chose to come to this location.. the wash was $31. Like come on plus I tipped trusting these men. It’s my fault for driving off without inspecting. I seriously could’ve went to a $7 wash and got did better.
