If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I waited 10 minutes outside with no one acknowledging me. The two employees working on the night of 11/19 were sitting in their car smoking and literally watching me wait. When one finally approached, they claimed they were having “drainage issues” — which was clearly not true. I left and called another Take 5 to confirm they were open and doing oil changes, and the employee there immediately said, “Yes, we’re doing oil changes. Did you go to another location where they’re just sitting around turning people away?” I told him yes and He was incredibly friendly and told me to come by so he could help. Mandeville Take 5 absolutely deserves zero stars. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Covington location on Hwy 21 instead — they actually take care of their customers.

Jared and the crew did a great job. I had to return because my car’s computer said the oil level was low. They checked it immediately and determined my car’s setting just had to be rebooted. It worked. Thanks for your help.

Came on Friday and waited 15 minutes, then was told to come back in 30 minutes so they could do some maintenance. I came back and no one even came to my car, so I left and came back Monday. Monday, I was told I’d have a 15 minute wait, but did not get service for 45 minutes.

Very efficient service. No wait time. Courtesy ahead of everything else. As a note there were only 2 people working on my visit and they handled 2 cars simultaneously, very impressive.

Took forever, they didn't tighten my oil pan cover and I found it in my driveway that next day... They fixed it but even told me it never should have been removed... I do not feel comfortable taking my vehicle here anymore, especially when the oil change is over 100.00 for my vehicle.

It wasn’t great. I went there and sat with another car for about 10 minutes where no one helped either of us. The bags were open but no people were visible. I went back and a A 10 minutes oil change turned into a 45-50 minute experience. The two people working spent quite a bit of time talking about the issues they were experiencing with no shows versus just working. When I left there were 4 cars behind me and the guy working left the girl to go make calls about the people who weren’t there vs just taking care of the people who were in line.

My experience was horrible at this location. The guy spilled oil all over my engine and didn’t even try to clean it up. They didn’t close the latches to the engine air filter cabin. I went to another location in Covington afterwards and they were happy to help check everything over and clean up the messes. I will NEVER return to the mandeville location. They were rude and very unprofessional!! Terrible service! Not to mention over priced! 100$ for a service that was very very poor quality!!

The techs complaining to each other about lunch time and who had to do what the whole time there. Did not check air pressure. Just didn’t feel like they know what they were doing or who was supposed to do what. I checked all work again when I got home. Other locations much more positive. Especially Covington.

Grease was left EVERYWHERE. The hood, inside of door handle, inside of windshield. Most importantly there was grease all over my tan felt headliner which now I have to get professionally detailed. I’ve been to places where they treat your car like their own, will wipe everything down afterwards, but not Take 5 I guess. Only redeeming quality I can think of is receiving a bottle of water upon pulling up, although this hardly excuses the rest of the experience.

A 15 minute oil change and wiper blade replacement took upwards of 40minutes due to the slow pace and the lack of knowledge and confidence the employees showed. I will not be back. I left with very uneasy feelings about whether the correct product was used and if things were installed and done correctly. There needs to be better training, always have a manager with real knowledge overseeing others and to check their work before the customer leaves

I brought my own oil and filter. It took 45 minutes only two people working. Did not check the tires for air pressure. Other than that. The service was good. The employees were nice and courteous.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. They saw a coolant leak and didn’t want to tell me. All they told me was I was low on coolant and needed a coolant flush, I reluctantly said yes. During the oil change and coolant flush. During the oil change and coolant flush they gathered around an area of my engine and suddenly started whispering and pointing, I didn’t think much of it until I got home. Once I got out of my truck I smelled coolant. I popped the hood, coolant was everywhere. They sold me a coolant flush with an obvious leak just to tack on another service for commission. If they would have given me a heads up on the leak I would have given this place 5 stars, but no they took advantage of the situation. That says a lot about this crew. Makes you wonder what else they do and don’t do.

I had such a great experience at Take 5 Oil Change! From the moment I pulled up, the service was quick, professional, and super friendly. The two younger girls working there truly stood out, they provided excellent customer service, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s refreshing to see young people who take pride in their work and treat customers with kindness and respect. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and had such positive attitudes. I was in and out in no time, and my car is running great. Highly recommend Take 5 I’ll definitely be back!

My last visit took 2 hours for an oil change, I didnt get my veterans discount even though I mentioned it several times, and left with a oil leak. I thought the trainee which did my oil change just spilled some. Unfortunately i was several quarts low. Not very happy about any of it. Previous times were great. Climbed under my car and found that the oil filter was crushed. Looks like either while trying to install it or remove it, and just never changed it. So since the oil change ive had to add 5 quarts of oil and change the filter.
