Why is it every time I go through something of the car wash is not working for instance went through yesterday no car shampoo. One of the brushes weren’t working no tire shine The brush at the end doesn’t work. You just shut down for two days for maintenance. You didn’t work on any of this. What’s up?

Living in a small area you have a choice of 2 car washes so you have to take the better of the two evil's. The brushes don’t work. The overhead drying brush has been inoperable for 2 years . They say they’re gonna fix it but it hasn’t happened. When you get out of the washer if you don’t dry they car with a towel it’s still dirty across the back.

Wow! This was, by far, my best car wash experience ever! No pics or video, but the employees were super nice and helpful, the vacuums were in great condition, they had a basket of great smelling air fresheners (complimentary), and everything was clean, and appeared well maintained! Sadly, I don’t live in this town, so I can’t frequent this location very often, but I’ll definitely make time to run through whenever I’m in Tuscaloosa!

So I went to get a car wash this week at the Take 5 location in Northport. The attendant was fantastic and informative. He told me for five extra dollars I could come for the next month with any of my cars for a free car wash. The next attendant provided me with a sticker to put on my car or to keep in the cab for this purpose. Two days later I took that sticker to the Take 5 location on Skyland Boulevard. I was able to get a great wash for a different vehicle. I encountered friendly and efficient attendants there as well. Highly recommended. It’s just too hot to get out and wash your car at home right now.

When Take 5 first opened a few years back it was a high quality state of the art car wash. I bought a monthly subscription. I will be canceling soon. It is often closed for what is presumably maintenance but things are always non functional. Today, none of the vacuums are working. Any explanation? No. Half of the vacuum station/detail areas are routinely unavailable for weeks at a time. I hope they figure things out, soon. Update: I have been trying to cancel my subscription since July of 2025 (4 months) with no success. I have emailed the company multiple times and even spoke to someone at their corporate office. I stopped by the physical car wash and was told they could not process cancellation to call or email. This is a vicious cycle that needs to end. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I had the monthly package for about a year. The wash broke my wiper fluid sprayer off one side. I filled a report- the manager got me number and email. 6 months and had not heard anything. I went there several times and was told different stories. There is no way to check n tact the company itself. Not that I have found. I will NEVER go back there. EVER!!!

I had poor customer service yesterday while my 6 year old daughter was in the car. Young man said what the hell to me while my window was down & I replied I will be contacting the manager & he replied well do it . Just was rude the hold conversation during the situation that went on.

Just signed up for the Unlimited washes for the price of one wash per month! We've been there numerous times & everyone is always so nice. My mom's car even broke down at one of the vacuums & an employee was generous enough to look at it & jump off her battery. We ended up having to leave it overnight & get a new battery the next morning, & he was so kind about it. I'm especially impressed by the detail center. They have glass cleaner, interior cleaner, & microfiber cloths available so you really can give your car a full detail. I have two kids & I'm pretty sure my car hasn't been this clean since the day I bought it!

Always misses half the rear windows on my SUV (passenger side). Inconsistent experience with membership, sometimes feels like a cheap rinse instead of wash. Update - 11/23/2024 - went through on Sunday evening, it was good to see the guy with the brush and the bucket as you enter the tunnel. BUT, the wash did not remove the blue soap. I had to wash it again by hand on Sunday. As you can see the back of my SUV was covered with blue soap. Update - Membership has been cancelled.

The take 5 in Northport needs a lot of work done. I have membership there and it has changed drastically. No brushes for tire’s upfront,the car wash only works on one side the brushes didn’t even touch the right side of my car most of the vacuums didn’t work and people were throwing their towels on the ground because they didn’t have any place to put them. It was bad and looks awful.

Was great when 1st opened. Guys are super nice but who ever is in charge it’s not doing due diligence on keeping the trash cans of water with soap and water in them clean, the brushes need to be replaced. Sometimes you go and there’s not even any brushes or water for you to scrub your own car. Been through many times where there are no tips on the end of the vacuum hoses. Got this for a gift to go through for a full year as many times as I please. It is so bad at times that I’m like what is the point my car is not getting clean and there’s no way for me to scrub it myself because there’s no brushes and no water at times And I think at times it’s only Water. Come on, we can do better than this people are paying.

Man, I don’t know what’s going on here. This place has gone way downhill the last several months. The vacuum lanes are always blocked off because they don’t work and this actually happens every time I’m there. They rarely have towels to give guests. The garbage is always full and trash on the floor. The brushes on the right side of the car don’t even move for the car so when you enter the car wash the brush spins but nothing touches your car. Had to cancel our membership because it’s just too much now. Also, you see many good reviews here because when you pull up to the pay station, they ask you leave a good review before you go into the car wash. This is why you see so many good reviews and then others leaving such bad reviews.

Just paid the top wash for $30 and it wasn’t worth it! They are supposed to spray and brush it off before hit enter the wash and they guy just motioned us forward, told us when to stop, then turned around and walked inside the office area. The drier at the end of the wash didn’t even come down and dry the car. I pulled around to wipe down the windows and the back of the car was still as dirty as it was when I pulled in so I got some dry rags (that were supposed to me moist) and cleaned the back of the vehicle myself. I will not waste another $30 at this car wash. I will drive on down the road to a place that actually does what they advertise—wash your vehicle.
