Always closed for maintenance!!! 🙄 I signed up in a different state and the car washes there are great but every time I come here it’s either closed, some of the parts in the car wash aren’t working or the other night I came about 15 minutes before they closed and the employee working looked at me and said “you know we are about to close….right” so I just turned around and left

Membership is worth it if you have toddlers that love going through the car wash! Not worth it if you want your car to leave scrubbed clean. I often have soap still on my car & it very rarely scrubs all the dirt off. BUT I do love the free detailing sprays available at the vacuums.

Normally, this car wash is great. But the last time I went, it put white specks all over my car. They don't want to come off either.

I'm leaving a one star because they're always closed at this location. I feel that if I'm paying for a membership and they're always closed they should not charge us for the membership. I got a membership so I can stop by and get my car washed at any time throughout the month. And with this location is inconvenient because they're always closed.

They won't fix their machinery. Leaves soap on your car. Don't bother replying with a phone number to this review cause we know y'all aren't gonna fix what people have been complaining about for months now.

My car looks just as bad if not worse than it did before going through the overpriced $10 car wash. The car wash honestly seemed broken, I couldn’t believe the lack of soap and water that was being dispensed. The spray heads sprayed hardly anything, and there was no dryer at the very end. I absolutely deserve a refund and will NOT ever return. UPDATE: Called and emailed the contact info below, of course there has been no response. Looking at previous poor reviews, you start to see a trend. Clearly the owner does not care about anyone that was scammed out of a decent car wash. Not sure where all of these mysterious 5 star reviews are coming from. The photos speak for themselves!

Maybe I got a bad day. But the car wash did not clean my car at all. The scrubber from the top did not work, and the side scrubbers were worthless. If you simply want a hose splashing your car with water. This is your place. If you want the car actually clean, go somewhere else.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Your car looks better before than after. Definitely go to another car wash. It's sad because had a membership here 6 years ago and this was a nice place. This is my second visit to this location in 5 months and it is my last (after the first time I have checked out other places). I don't like to give a bad review without giving a second chance. I asked for assistance both times and was not helped. After reading other recent reviews this seems to be a trend at this location which is unfortunate because with the right staff it could be a big money maker.

I'm doing deep consideration of canceling my membership. Every week the one on 288 is closed and the one on university never does a good job of washing the car. Last week I got about 4 drops of water on my car thru the whole wash. Asked the gentleman inside about it and all he could say was yeah we ordered a part for that. Very disappointing business.

On Wednesday 9/17, they posted an unauthorized charge to my credit card for $21.99. I had not visited the car wash in a month. Thirty days earlier, I'd used the car wash and paid that amount, but did not buy a membership, receive a membership sticker, or any electronic receipt of membership. I would never buy a membership. At no point did I give them permission to keep my credit card information on file. I called in the morning and connected with someone who said they would forward my issue to customer service. I thought I was already talking to customer service. In the afternoon, I sent an email and posted a message on their website customer service form. They did not respond. Three days later they still haven't. I drove to the location and the attendant took my name, went inside, and came out with a receipt showing +$10 and -$10 (whatever that means) and that the "ARMl" had been canceled. He did not refund the money, only canceled the membership I never solicited. He said customer service would likely not respond for "weeks," and I'd be better off calling my bank and initiating a chargeback. It sounded as if this is not rare. So it's up to me to do the legwork for this money. This morning I am starting a chargeback process with my bank. I can't decide if it's worse that they kept my CC info without permission and charged it without authorization, or their customer service approach to let the customer untangle the mess they create. UPDATE: Take 5 Car Wash (AKA Car Wash USA) did not respond to my issuing bank's inquiry and so the money was credited back to my account.

It’s a great car wash, but this 288 location specifically is closed more often than it is open. Also you must use the entire service through the app. I signed up on the website and got no account. They told me to sign up through the app. I used all the same info. Now I have been charged multiple times by 2 different accounts for the same car…

Okay so usually car wash places are pretty standard. Pull up, they wipe your car down and send you through the machine. My car had tar all over the side of it and I had been through multiple washes and couldn’t get the stuff off. Now here is why this place will always get my business and gets 5 stars. A gentleman named Christian literally took the time to get on their hands and knees to wipe the tar off before I went through the wash. That kind of service is unheard of. I want this guy to get the recognition he deserves. Come here. Christian will take care of your car and they will go the extra mile.

Horrible wash left soap on car didn’t even clean it not even acceptable wash at all. The rain sprinkler didn't work or spray car off soap all on the car. Need to change out scrubbers or something. Not mad at the attendant at all he said he couldn't do nothing because of no manager there. But highly unhappy to pay $16 and car didn’t even get cleaned.

Hands down worse car wash ever. Dude on his cell phone did one quick pass across the front windshield and the same on the back windshield and didn’t even attempt to actually scrub anywhere close to the whole windshield or even hit the front where the bugs are. He also didnt presoak anything at all. Then I get to the vacuum area and figured I would just use the rags and wipe it down and behold no rags at all and dude is just chillen on his phone I go and ask them and find that they have a counter full of them but told me that they want us to come ask them for rags vs them just putting them out where they are supposed to be. This used to be a good location so I got another membership when I moved back to town but I will definitely be canceling it now.

I really wanted to like this car wash because it was so fast and easy but it didn’t clean my car at all! I was going to get the membership but I am glad I did a test run first because my car had all the brush marks and looked worse after.

Do not waste your time or money at this facility! Im new here in Denton and needed to get my car washed and chose here! I was not happy with the wash ask the manager could he run my car thru again cuz I wasn't happy! He asked me which wash did i get i told him the basic he told me that doesn't qualify to get your car cleaned nor does it qualify to have your car ran back thru again! I called corporate in which they did not hesitate in offering me a another car wash i just wish I coils take the free car wash somewhere else lol

I wish I had read the reviews first. "Triple Clean" wash for $18 left much of car dirty. Waste of time at any price. I wish I had looked at the exterior before driving away. A refund would have been appropriate.

Take 5: Had a problem at your Car wash on University Dr in Denton, TX today. Waited on car in check in line, only 1 of 2 were open. Waited behind this car while a membership sticker was given to this vehicle. (I always had to go in the office to complete a membership). After 5 minutes, my waiting wasn't even acknowledged by employee. The employee returned to the office. The Buick went through the gate. I pulled up with my sticker. The machine was flashing continuously. I backed up and went forward 4 times. This went on for several minutes. I look over at the Buick and it had not even entered the car wash! 7 minutes and I have not made entry. I might never have been able to and be stuck there, which has happened before. Not one employee contacted me at all, so I left. I have pictures. Please let me know if you'd like them.

I’d give this place a 0-star review if I could. Avoid take 5 car wash and Eric Moreno (owner) at all cost. His car wash caused $8,000+ damage to my vehicle and it’s been a pain in the ass trying to get any sort of update from him or his insurance - doesn’t know what insurance company they use, doesn’t have a claim reference number when he ‘submitted the claim’. Do yourself a favor, run from this clown if you own enjoy having a non-damaged vehicle.
