This place is a scan. Theu charged me 50 dollar for carwash and clean inside with spray which I said ok. I picked up my car a hour later. No vacuum and glasses are dirty. I asked why they did not vacuum inside they said you only paid $50 what do you expect. I said ok thank you and left. But there is no way I go back to this place. Trust me if we dont support them they start to give some quality work. I could go to express wash for $8 . Why I had to pay $50 . I should stop supporting this business for 2 weeks min so they will noticed if they dont give a good costomer service they can not run their business here . Charging people and dont do what they are supposed to do. I am really asking people to take some action.

Unfortunately the car wash has declined a lot over the years. It has become a "family business" and it's the only car wash in Sunland so they know everyone is going to come regardless. For a small car expect to pay 17.99 on a weekday during the day, not busy or anything. That is way too much for a car wash through a machine, it used to be 12.99 but they are taking advantage of saying it's the economy or covid probably. When I asked the man working the register why the price increased, he just scoffed at me and didn't give a clear explanation. Not coming back here, better take your car to the self drive thru service up near in and out.

Worse experience. Got my car back with a flat tire and when I said I wasn't responsible they got mad and yelled at me said "it wasn't their problem" pretty much talked I'm Armenian the whole time they were around me. The repair was only 20$ and the guy offered to pay half. Never was able to talk to the owner whoever he was. Never coming back here again no matter how close it is. I'll wash my own car from now on.

My Mini was parked under pine trees, and had sap drippings on it. I took it into Star Handwash and asked the manager (?) if they could remove the sap. He told me they would use some product I've never heard of, and it would all be great. He charged me $60 for the handwash, sap removal and wax. It took 2 hours. When it was done, they'd destroyed my factory black racing stripes by rubbing until all of the color was removed and there were large white splotches. I was horrified and pointed this out. The manager started arguing with me that it was ruined beforehand. Boldfaced lie. The owner came out to try to help. The manager got right in my face angrily trying to intimidate me (I am a woman). To the owner's credit, he told the manager to back off. This car wash ended up costing me $480 to replace my stripes.

When I first started taking my car here they did a really good job (over a year ago). Over time their survive deteriorated. Couple of weeks ago they did a terrible job. I noticed it was going downhill 6 months ago, but always thought they’d do a better job next month. I am definitely not going back unfortunately. Sucks because they are right down the street from me :/

They charging you for a high price for hand wash , but customer service is sucks, I was taking few cars every time but I totally stopped because is just wasting time and money. Don’t waste your money at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely ridiculous service! I got the most pricey package with everything included. All the bumpers were dirty not talking about the tires and rims! I have never had this kind of experience with carwash. Do not recommend at all. I went back and pointed out the rims and what I was told that it was difficult to clean and that they dont carry the solution to clean them! Never going back again

I will never EVER return to this car wash, I paid $30 for wash and detail inside; car did not look like it had been vacuumed, no Armora, my dashboard and console was still dusty I could swipe my finger and they didn’t even wipe down side doors, normally I would’ve taken a loss but the cleaner was rude and upset that I told him that I was not happy they offered to fix it NO refund. My 12yr old does a way better job, I regret not paying him this time. 1st and last visit.

I just had a regular cash wash yesterday which is Friday. I paid 20. I arrived 1130 and I notice there were cars arrived after my car but went into the wash tube first. I guess if u add extras like wax then they send them out first . Car wash was done by 1200 and waiting for somebody to finish up the car. . It’s almost 1230 and still the car is still not done.at 12 45 and still not done so we just left. . Have been going for 10 years. Service is pretty bad now so it’s time to wash my own car. I don’t want to wait for 1 1/2 hour for a car wash.. there are 2 car wash in la crescenta and la Canada where we live.

This place used to be great. NOW it sucks. They washed my truck, then let it dry in the sun for 20 minutes before anyone came to finish it ( but not until I complained). I had paid for the 3rd tier wash. Meanwhile, they finished 3 cars that came out after mine. I won't be back.

I think the one employee was very much incompetent. The wash went just fine however the finishing touch employee seemed to think since my car is not attractive on the first place it didn't need the time for any service. The rear hatch was not even opened to dry the frame nor were the other four door frames dried well at all. I paid for interior Armorial and it looks as if the employee went from clean windows to just Armorial everything. Cob webs and leaves included. It would normally take at least 10-15 minutes to finish the car after the wash but today it was completed in a record time of 5?

I have been going to this car wash for years. My last 2 visits to STAR ended up with rather large pot belly employee that could not fit his pot belly in the driver seat and moved the seat back to fit his pot belly in the driver seat. He Broke the button to move driver seat forward and backwards. I own a 1999 mercedes rag top. Old car but in great condition with low mileage. When I complained to Owner, he told/yelled at me if I didn't like their work, to not come back to his car wash. People waiting for their cars were listening and looking at this chat turned to yelling at me. It was embarrassing and people were standing and looking at explosive owner verbally abusing me. I was not asking for monetary gain but only to make owner aware of his crew-middle eastern pot belly smoking employee that drove my car after being washed to next employee to dry car. The next employee to dry my car was nice and apologized for his boss and finished drying my car. I gave the employee a $5.00 tip and thanked him for being kind . There are 4 car wash places close to where I live. I have always driven to STAR because the employees wash car by hand and not machinery. I will not return to this place because of the lunatic owner and his pot belly, smoking, lazy sidekick. I have always, in past received respectful customer care from the employees, now I will give thumbs down to owner of STAR car wash. 👎👎👎👎👎💭💭💭

HORRIBLE! I went to car a car wash & oil change. My car is only 2 years old, after the oil change was done I got on the Freeway and now my car is making a rattling / clicking noise. Went to the dealer for them to find Engine cover was loose and missing bolts! I even asked them to clean my windows extra clean, that I'd pay extra, they charged 10$ more just for my windows to look like it got wiped with a dirty rag. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Usually everything's great, sometimes excellent. This morning, a disheveled kid in sweatpants, a stretched worn out t shirt, and unbrushed hair, who looks like I interrupted his weekend morning cartoons, tried to nickel and dime me when I asked to add a wipe down of the 1 foot by 3 foot trunk mat. Im already buying the most expensive package you got, "bro". Disrespectful, unprofessional, sloppy, needy, missed opportunity. I'll go into the valley for the next 3 car washes.

The guys in charge were a bit rude, and the lady at the register was talking on the phone the entire time I was trying to ask her a question. Aside from that,the price is good, and the workers left my car very clean. The workers were kind and hard working. Thank you!

Amazing, honest people. I came Saturday afternoon and got my oil changed + car wash. these guys did not skip a step. Vacuumed and towel dryer the whole car, getting all the gaps where water usually sits after a car wash. No hard water spots.

I've taken my car there a few times. The last time, i had my Dodge Challenger waxed. Looked ok until I saw the next day. The guy left wax all along my passenger fender and passenger door. Never again.

Horrible ownership I went to this carwash as I do every week and as I went back to my car I found my sunglasses broken into 3 pieces. I told the worker and he said he would get the owner. The owner came over and said what's the problem? I told him and he was extremely rude and said ya what am I gonna do about that. I said you guys broke my glasses. Finally after arguing a little he said fine I'll pay for your cheap glasses since you are bothering me at a busy time. They were Oakleys and not cheap glasses but does it matter if they were $100 or $500? They were mine and I wear them everyday. I never got a sorry sir that we broke your glasses. He was rude and aggressive from the start. I left and didn't have him pay me anything but I will never go to this car wash ever again. He has no appreciation for his customers and treats people with no respect so he has lost my business.

DO not recommend. We leave in the area and always were using this car wash. About 2 weeks ago, after returning home from this car wash I noticed that top part of drivers door handle was missing. I went back and manager found it on the floor, at the automated wash area where car gets soaped and washed. Owner was not there and manager took my number and promised that owner will call me to see how to deal with this. He never did of course. It is sad to see how some business owners lack basic manners. Now I have to pay dealer to replace it. Obviously all of our 5 cars will never be washed there from now on. What a shame.
