Pretty frustrating experience. The tap to pay option only gives you 4 min for $4. Had to rush and then had to pay 3 times just to get my car clean. The machine is very dated and worn you can hardly see what option you are selecting for the self serve. Then the hose on the brush was leaking so I got soap all over my clothes. Probably won’t be back.

Self serve is a total joke. $4 for 3 minutes. That means stopping whatever you are doing every 3 minutes to push a button or swipe your card. I have a big truck and it takes 30 minutes to do a good job, that means 10 trips to the control box. Major inconvenience. I have used a number of other DIY car washes that give you 10 to 15 minutes before having to push the extra time button. Major inconvenience, and added cost due to all of the times you have to stop.

This review is only covering the self service portion of their car wash. I won't have any future experience with this place. Facilities were fine... one vacuum was broken but I didn't use any of them after the service. I usually go to Dolphin on Power & Baseline. It takes 8 minutes to self wash my little Ford. I'm not sure if the timer is set fast but I had to renew the timer 3X (15 minutes)... making my carwash more expensive then their automatic wash. I won't be going back.

4 years of going here, and this place has gone downhill. Foam brush wasn't working at all. place was filthy, and I get it....it's a car wash, but it doesn't look like the stalls have been maintained. And what's the deal with the wash sink on the side of the building? It's been destroyed for a while now. Considering this is a handy part of a car wash 🤔. Let us all know when you have made repairs to this facility so we can return.

Card reader. ONLY SWIPE ONCE AND DO NOT PUSH THE STOP BUTTON UNTIL FINISHED. Car wash was fine. just had some issues with that reader.

I've been taking my company truck to Splash'n Shine for about 6 yrs. I give them 4 stars because there's usually one broken device(foam brush, sprayer, blow dryer) and I have to find an open stall where everything works. But I like the nice safe area for the most part.

Touchless wash did not do a good job. Still have bugs and bird poop on the car. Did not dry the passenger side at all. Vacuum was broken and held together with electrical tape. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Next time I'll drive further for a better wash. Highly disappointed.

The literal worst car wash ever. It never rinsed off the soap. It started drying the car without washing rinsing it, when my car was still covered in soap. I had to run it through a regular car wash afterwards to get all the dried soap off. Such a waste of money.

The timer on the machine that you swipe money to wash has a faulty count down timer. Other than that, the overall environment of the carwash is clean and free of vagrants asking for change which is a great change of pace.

Okay car wash, soap leaves residue so be sure to bring a good sponge and a microfiber if you care about your paint.

I usually get my car washed at a drive thru place off of southern, but since I was on this side of the 101 I decided to stop in and clean my bfs 4Runner. The attachments to wash were clunky and kept getting caught on one another, wasting time. It kept beeping so I had to stop every few minutes and add time….which wasted time I could be washing. I rinsed well and ended up spending more than I would have at a drive thru place with clean cloths and dual vacuums. Smh. A dry rag I had with me couldn’t get the dried water spots off that formed between the stall and the vacuum and now I’m going to have to pay more to just make the vehicle look halfway decent. vacuum worked at least….

Tried the automatic no touch wash, absolute waste of money. There should be a sign somewhere that says don't expect your car to be fully washed of debris and dust.

Typical self serve, but their products are very mediocre, the wax doesn't make much difference, and the "spotless" rinse leaves plenty of spots. No quarter exchange machine which is annoying. Blower and free vacuum are nice though.

This car wash is just … okay. I wouldn’t say it’s the best at all. The products they use for the self service are turtle products which are the absolute lowest of the low in terms of quality. I can literally get those products at Walmart if I wanted too so if you come here just don’t expect professional grade products cause this place DOES NOT have them sadly. Oh and also the “spot free” rinse was very clearly NOT spot free so that was a scam cause I can get hard water at home for free so what’s the point of wasting money on something that’s being falsely advertised? Sounds kinda weird to me but other than that the place was really clean and I did feel safe washing my car here at least!

Did not like the dryer in the touch fee. You have to move your car at end & Judge weather it's getting dry or not. I like when the dryer moves through the car wash. I didn't do well & ended up drying the majority of my car. Won't go back.

Paid $13 for deluxe wash today and my car was still very dirty when we left! Used this place before with good results but this was a huge waste of time and money!! Very disappointed to waste money when everything is so high right now!

This was an impressive touchless wash. Free vacuums are such a relief. Very spacious bays. The bad reviews are so entertaining. I’m not associated with this car wash or the owners, just a guy that realizes the obvious. It is a touchless wash so no it won’t totally wipe off some bugs or other marks. Go to the brush ones, no bugs in exchange for scratched paint. Turtle products are good well known products. You can get chemical guys, meguiars at Walmart too. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad brand. Posting a pic of brake dust that is hard to get off then complaining the wash didn’t do it lol people drive off without doing a final wipe down then complain there is dried water on their car. I used the wash, pulled to the other bays, dried the remainder of my car, and used my chemical guys spray to get the last spots clean. Left happy in a good mood with a positive experience. Thank you!

Update: I had left a voicemail on the day I had arrived and the car wash was down and never got a response back. Splash N Shine is one of the only truly touchless car washes in the area, which makes it an awesome option for anyone with a wrapped vehicle or a black car that you want to avoid scratching. When it’s working, it does a solid job and is exactly the kind of wash many of us specifically look for. Unfortunately, this location seems to be having issues far too often. I regularly go out of my way to come here because of the touchless system, but almost every time I arrive, the car wash is out of service. It’s really disappointing, especially since a touchless wash is more of a specialty service and not something easy to replace nearby. It would be incredibly helpful if there were a way to check the real-time status of whether the car wash is open or operational—whether through a website, social media, or updated signage. This is a great service when it’s available, but the inconsistency makes it feel like a gamble every visit.

We go here to use the touch less car wash, it works well and is affordable. It also won’t crack your windshield.
