They refused to do a transmission oil change because it's too much work to drop the pan. They wanted to just flush it with a hose which destroys transmissions. Not good for that at all but for motor oil good spot.

Bad experience. I do not recommend this place. They are just ripping people off telling them they need synthetic oil and so many other upsells which they hide or don't tell you about them but still bill you. They upgraded my filter without even asking. It was just two dollars but that will keep me away from this rat hole. Do not get your oil change here.

Today February 13, 2017 I went to Shell Quick Lube on Ruben Torres. I have taken my two vehicles there for a while now. I have never had the displeasure of dealing with the owner until today. After the service was performed, one of the guys told me that they were having trouble putting my vehicle into gear and that I had to push some level that I have never used before It turns out it was the transmission valve. It wasn't connecting the gears. The owner came out because my vehicle would not move. He told me something about the hand break. I proceeded to inform him that I NEVER use the hand break and have never had a need to use it. He kept arguing me telling me I should it and would not understand that I've never had to use it. Anyway, they pushed my vehicle back in the garage and started to mess with it. I called my brother and he came over and finally fixed it after one hour and a 1/2. At the end I gave the receipt to the owner and ask him if he was going to make it right. He literally snatched the receipt from my hand and told he he had made it right and proceeded to call me a F***ing A**hole right in front of my 13 year old son. How am I supposed to explain this treatment to him? One would think that a business owner would want to make sure his customers (loyal at that) will come back by saying "I'll reverse the charges" but NO, not this guy. He told me to never come back. He doesn't have to worry about my repeat business. I told him that HE did not make it right my brother did. If this guys talks to his customers this way I can only imagine how he interacts with his employee. Seems to me that there is only one F***ing a**hole in this establishment and he is white, old and very unhappy. I hope you get what you deserve. Needless to say, I am NEVER going there again. Customers beware. Unless you want the royal crap treatment, stay away!!!

Found this awesome place oil change. Good staff, rapid service depending what needs of your vechile and do chat with staff very responsible. On your next visit make it a change if your willing for good care of your vechile. Nice, come on your own risk.

I would give no stars if it was an option. The only hard worker there is the light skin chubby guy that washes the cars. The other guy that charges and always wears a cap is not great with customer service. I had to deal with him during a car wash today, and he said the $9 car wash does not come with a scrub down of the roof and rear windsheild. "It's not included in the service," he said. Looks like he don't want to work.

Terrible service, they've even been in trouble woth the cops before. Billy is the owner....y'all are running a terrible place. Their mechanics don't even consistently put oil in correctly, do NOT recommend going here.

Oil change they did not buy the bottom cover back in place almost cause accident. While I was on a trip Issac guy very unprofessional Did not even know the manager name He said it was Mike no last name and to call back on Monday I call back and they told me that it my fault is he for real it's a 2021 vehicle new with less than 25,000 miles ude Very bad service / Very Rude Brownsville Texas 802

Don’t bother going if you’re a woman. I’ve used this service for years and in the past 4 years they started up charging me. The first time 3 years ago I noticed it because my father aswell gets his service there and was charged less when asking for the same service. The past year I went to grease monkey avoiding this and decided to come back today this year since it’s so close to where I was and once again asked for the basic regular oil change with no up bottle charge (because of past experience) and was once again charged the $36 basic oil change and a $20 bottle upcharge, which is not what I ever ask for. I had to pay in the end bc Mike , who I assume is the manager, would not even suggest a solution nor even suggest charging me only for what I DID ask for EVEN after the worker “Chico” admitted I HAD ONLY asked for the regular basic oil change when I initially drove up coming in. Mike was no help at all and they’re just trying to get you’re money.

I am absolutely furious with the service I received at this location today. I arrived for an oil change expecting a professional, timely experience, only to be subjected to a 30-minute wait in the blistering heat with no updates or explanation. After sitting there for half an hour, I was finally informed that the air filter I needed was unavailable. Not only was I forced to waste my time and endure uncomfortable conditions, but it was clear that the team had no intention of providing the customer service I expected. If you knew the air filter wasn’t in stock, that should have been communicated immediately, not after wasting my time and causing unnecessary frustration. This is completely unacceptable. I expect better treatment from a business that prides itself on customer service. I certainly won't be returning to a company that shows such disregard for its customers’ time and needs.

I wouldn’t give this place even 1 Star. I have a 2022 Jetta VW and they didn’t even know how to restart the oil mileage. I could see the guy just sitting in my car for a while pushing but tons then see him get out my car and goes into his vehicle to grab something which ends up being jumper cables take in mind my battery is only 2 years old! It’s new! He’s all worried talking about my battery is dead and my car is just making an alarming noise inside like when your seatbelt is unclipped. I realized immediately he didn’t know what he was doing. He said he couldn’t put when my next oil change was cause he couldn’t change the miles and returned me my car with a constant beeping sound inside! Truth be told cars go in and out of that place that I won’t be surprised if they are honestly even doing the oil changes. Before all this the reason I caught on to him not knowing what he was doing was because when I looked towards my car the guy doing the supposed oil change was chilling down there just looking straight to where I was, we ended up looking eye to eye and he quickly closed a barge he had there and disappeared. So I stayed eyes on my car when I caught this inexperienced man touching all the keys on my car. SMH. I would never take any of my vehicles here again.
