The advertised deli special was not available. I was told to try after 3pm. Would have been nice if that information was included in the advertisement

Save Mart has always been a stand up arrow name in my book. My 63 yr old book 😊 Great deli. Great grocery. Reasonable prices. Clean organized and kept up. Most of the employees appear happy in their jobs and transmit that sincerely to customers by salutations and offering help to the senior bewildered look I may have looking for something. Thank you for being of service (tyfbos) Team Save Mart!!!!

This store is stealing from the public (and you). Please take all your receipts and printed coupons with you. If you don't want to use, throw your own coupons away. It's yours you paid for it. A free loaf of bread ($2 value. Free bananas up to $2.49 with purchase). Would you let them without $2 from your change? Same thing. Etc. Vendors reward you for shopping their products. PS this store HAS not invested in ink so you can read your coupons and/or savings).

Bought from the $5 meat, one of our hamburger packages was rancid. Very disappointing, money is tight& can’t afford to waste it.

At Save Mart in Stockton, there were several displays of buy 2 12-packs of Coca-Cola products, get 2 packs free, but the actual price per pack was not listed anywhere in the store. Had to find a store employee to find out that a 12-pack is $8. Cashier was friendly.

The stores all right but they don't always have some of the things I need every time I go over there to pick up them up. I always prepare myself mentally that I am going to have to go to another store after.

This market is very clean, and the staff are very welcoming, providing answers if you can't find what you are looking for. The store is very clean, and the products are abundant. I like coming here because it's local inside the surrounding community.

The people who work here are friendly. There are two main problems with SaveMart: 1) The prices are extremely high. 2) Their self-serve checkout never works like its supposed to. I always have to have a clerk come over to reset the machine which goes into an error state EVERY single time I have used it. That's rediculous and the management should be ashamed that they have not addressed this issue. I only shop here on days I don't feel like traveling to Winco, Target or Walmart.

Very friendly service and good customer service. They have loads of hidden finds. This includes eggs for $1.99 wow! And a butcher box full of goodies.

Save Mart has been a staple grocery store in the Central Valley for years, and the location on Pacific and Alpine continues to uphold that strong reputation. While there has been a noticeable increase in prices recently—which may steer away more budget-conscious shoppers—the overall experience at this store more than makes up for it. The customer service is consistently excellent; staff members greet you with genuine smiles and positive attitudes, always ready to help or point you in the right direction. This store stands out not just for its service, but also for its clean and well-organized layout and wide selection of products across every department—from fresh produce and meats to household essentials. You can tell the employees take pride in their work, and it creates a welcoming environment that’s a pleasure to shop in. While it might not always be the cheapest option, the dependable quality and positive atmosphere make it a reliable and enjoyable place to shop for your groceries.

They are so nice and helpful. Even if it is not their department if you have a question they will be happy to help. The vegetables make a appealing addition to the meal.

I’ve been coming to this grocery store for a little while now and overall it’s been a pretty good experience. The place is usually clean and the aisles are easy to move through, which I appreciate. They keep most of the essentials in stock, and the produce section always looks fresh. Prices are fair, not the cheapest but reasonable for the quality. The staff at checkout are usually friendly and helpful if you need something. Parking can get a bit crowded during weekends, but that’s pretty normal. Overall, a nice neighborhood store to grab your weekly groceries.

I’ve had very mixed experiences with customer service at Save Mart Supermarkets. Many of the staff members have been absolutely phenomenal — especially the buyers and one of the older ladies who works in the mornings. They are friendly, helpful, and truly make customers feel valued. Because of them, I’ve continued shopping here. Unfortunately, the experience in the evenings has been completely different. The women working during that time have been consistently unprofessional and rude. Customer service seems to be lacking, and interactions often feel dismissive, cold, and unfriendly. It creates an uncomfortable atmosphere that makes it hard to want to return. Customer-facing employees should understand the importance of basic courtesy and professionalism. At the very least, everyone should know how to treat people with simple kindness and respect. Perhaps additional training on customer service — or even just a reminder about how to be kind human beings — would make a significant difference. If that’s not possible, those employees may be better suited to back-of-store tasks rather than direct interaction with customers. Due to these repeated negative evening experiences, I will not be returning to this store. I hope management addresses these concerns, because there are truly some great employees there who deserve recognition
