I love this store but the blonde woman working the area when u walk out with receipts was very rude and disrespectful. I had 3 kids in tow 2 being under 2. If she doesn't like her job she should quit

This was my worst experience ever with Sam's whom I've never had issues before. I brought my sister-in-law's car to have a new battery installed yesterday. After arriving at her place I checked the installation and noticed The cover was left off the top of the battery (don't know where its at) and a connector was unplugged, and I had noticed on the way back to her place, the check engine light came on!! To make matters worse, the Hood was scratched. I tried to contact management, I called Sam's five or six times. No one picks up. Called customer service, they tried too, couldn't reach anyone either. I'm considering canceling my membership and going back to Costco, who has incredible Customer service. Kind Regards Don

The management at this particular store are completely useless. The front end "supervisor" if that's what you want to call her, don't know how to run a register to check people out. The so called "manager" looks like he is just out of high school, totally don't know what's going on. Friday night the line was about 20 people deep with 1 cashier, which happens to be the nicest and a very sweet lady. She was working so hard trying to get people through the line. Managers just standing around looking like where am I. 1 girl guarding a box of watermelons. ๐. This store is nasty and dirty. Something needs to get done. This store used to be a good place. Definitely not anymore.

Love being able to go in scan and go and be done without having to get stuck in the store. The Cafe employees are pleasant and helpful.

Ok, 2 main reasons I have a Sams membership is to buy Gasoline and the lunch counter. The lunch counter is great except for the non working fountain drinks. Week after week, no fountain drinks. You can get food, but eating without a drink is not safe. Easy way to get choked. So supposedly they were fixed late last week. Guess what I found this morning. Out of order again. This only became a problem when they switched from Coke to Pepsi Products.

Sam's Club is the best of the buy-in-bulk stores. But! In order to have the best experience you should use there app to checkout! No standing in line waiting for an hour, scan your stuff and walk past the lines!

While I normally would give 5 stars bc I do love Sam's club and have shopped there for several years, there has been a recent change in "management" if you can even call it that- that has left me not wanting to ever go back on multiple occasions. This guy is not much older than me with a terrible attitude and loves to harass people, especially women. Sam's club has always been an enjoyable experience but I honestly think I may never go back due to this guys horrible behavior and making me feel so uncomfortable and unsafe.

Iโm not sure what is going on with Pickup. I use it regularly, mornings are much better. However, Iโve done afternoon lately and every timeโฆitโs been 45-1 hr.+ to get my pickup to my car. There is a backup and lack of spacesโฆall pickupers are circling like hawks to get a vacant spot. Itโs competitive and everyone is frustrated. There is only an employee coming with an order like every ten+ minutes โ with 14 pickup spotsโฆ.emptying so rarelyโฆthe math ainโt mathing. This is poor management and systems. You canโt cancel your order through the app. Itโs honestly quite painful. Considering grocery pickup is like 4 years old now, Iโm not sure why it suddenly seems like this is the first day they have ever done grocery pickupโฆevery day.

There is a young man working at the rotisserie who must hate his job. On 10/20/25 at approximately 1300 hrs I and several others were waiting for chicken to be put out. One of the customers asked when the chicken would be ready. As he walked away he muttered with an attitude something to the effect of it will be ready in a while. A few moments later she asked can you tell me how long? And he said just a minute I'm bringing some out now. Afterward, as he brought them out he was singing a negative rap song that really did not belong in the work place. The store also has stuff that they are selling in electronics but when you take the item and the receipt up they are out of stock.

I wanted to go inside to look around before buying a membership card. But they would not allow that. My question is, being that I live an hour away from Roanoke, how am I to know if it is worth the membership fee if I am not allowed look around. For me, that raises a big red flag. Additionally, to me, it almost feels like they are trying to leverage me into buy a membership. That is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

The pick up area is beyond awful!!!!! Too much confusion and ignorance on their part. If I place an online order and Samโs say my order is ready for pick up then it shouldnโt take over 30 minutes for my order to come out!! 9/9/2025 had another pick up here at Samโs club. Got here at 10:48 a.m. and it is now 11:30 a.m. and still nothing! I met a guy the other day who waited 1 hr. 15 minutes for his pick up. So make sure if you have a pick up order at Samโs club you have a book and a drink cause your gonna be there a while and pray you donโt have to use the bathroom cause their bathroom is very disgusting! Also Samโs fire all the managers because they are as useless as they come!

While I love Samโs clubs in general, this is the worst Samโs club I have ever been to. This isnโt a one time experience. I come often and the customer service is bad from the membership desk to the cafe. The cafe is regularly out of important items (Soda syrup, carbonation, lids, straws, Parmesan cheese, etc.). The cafe is also regularly a dirty disaster. Regularly, there will be no shopping carts available upon entering. The menโs restroom looks like itโs never been cleaned. It looks the same every time I go in and regularly just has standing puddles of urine. The reason I am so critical is because I know that Samโs can do it better. I have seen it at many other Samโs club locations such as, Bristol, TN; JOhnson city, TN; Charleston, WVโฆ

We waited for an excessive amount of time for our pickup order. After 30-45 minutes of waiting, I was asked to go inside to get my order. I pushed the cart and loaded the groceries myself at around the hour mark. I can not recommend the curbside pickup at Sam's Club. Delivery or shopping in person is the way to go. Shout out to some of the workers that helped us out. Otherwise, it could have been longer than an hour.

Good club retail where you can find most of your favorite brands at bulk discount prices verses Walmart. Usually very busy and hard to check out in the lines. Scan and go on the Samโs Club App is a faster method and lets you check out and leave faster. Cafe is now only order through app which is convenient but difficult if you are relying on a phone device. Good location. Parking can be hard to get a close spot though. Overall a good experience.

Only 1 person operating a register on a Friday afternoon!! Unbelievable! The self checkouts were lined up all the way down each isle! The center of the store was impossible to shop from because people waiting to check out were lined up and blocking each isle. It took longer to check out than to get a shopping cart full of items. My elderly mom was with me and she was exhausted when we finally got to the car. Also, they had no regular hamburger buns?! The MAIN item on her list. What store runs out of hamburger buns on a Friday!? Iโve been throwing away my BJ Club ads but I am definitely keeping the next one I receive. The cashier, Sarah was super nice although she was being worked to death! She was the only bright spot in that store today.

UPDATE: I tried to order a pizza today from the app, at 11:30 am. The earliest I could pick it up was 3pm. Why do they still have a food court, if you have to order the food hours in advance?? You can no longer buy food at the food court, but you have to order the food on the app. The reason for this? So they can hire folks who don't speak English! On a recent trip, we knew we couldn't order at the counter, but my daughter went over to ask if they have anything gluten free. The lady, in very broken English said she had to use the app. When my daughter asked about gluten free, the employee repeated the words very slowly, in broken English, clearly not understanding the words. My daughter asked again, and the employee repeated the words again while shaking her head 'no'. We still don't know if Sam's club offers gluten free products at the counter. Sam's, please how employees that can speak English! Having an employee who cannot answer a simple question because they don't know the English language does not make sense. Also, you have to be physically in the store to order food from the food court on the app, so no ordering a head of time, so that your food is ready to pick up.

Samโs Club is usually a great place to shop. I come every Tuesday around 10 a.m. but lately, the entrance associate (a Black woman with a short afro who hands out carts) gives me curt, disapproving looks, and it honestly makes me not want to come back. On the other hand, the exit associate (a white woman with short hair and glasses who checks receipts) is always warm and upbeat. This really shows the difference in staff, please make sure all staff are friendly within the business environment.

Very pleasantly surprised. Coming from a Costco and seeing the reviews I had pretty low expectations and found that it wasn't so much different. Definitely a few more things I would've liked to see, but it meets a lot of the needs. Great prices too. The space was clean and well organized, and when I went on a Saturday evening it wasn't crowded at all.
