Good facility, everything always works, good size bays, friendly management. Just beware of the the grease/oil on the ground from discourteous patrons. Last two times I didn't notice and tracked it into my car and my house, pain in the ... to remove from carpet. Hope this is constructive criticism for the owner.

Very good car wash. Well maintained. Clean and the equipment works well. High pressure wash and rinse. Blow dryer is cool. Easy access to Broadway at Princeton.

A customer reported approximately 2 months ago, that after paying for their car wash visit, they were charged an additional 6 dollars three days later. The same thing happened to me, so I phoned the owner. He was very prompt in getting back to me. He explained that the extra 6 dollar charge would soon disappear once my original payment was processed. They do this just to be sure there are funds in your account before taking payment. The explanation of the extra charge was very helpful! I thank Safari Carwash for having the integrity and authenticity to get back to me and I feel much better about returning.

This carwash is in my top 5. But, they could use some new brushes & maybe add a little hand air. Check their suction on their vacuums. Alittle more time would be great. Sometime deals after so many visit. Nonetheless it's always busy. If your a new user Safari will give you a $10.00 credit via text message. So, that was cool....

I have been going here since the car wash on Downing and old Hampden closed, and I think overall this is a good place and appears to be well maintained. The use of tokens is something to get used to since you have to change bills to get them, but in the long run it's more convenient since you only have to put in two tokens to start versus eight quarters which is harder to handle, and one token for the vacuum. And then you can just add one or more tokens as you need to give yourself more time when you switch the dial to another setting. They also have an air drying machine which might be a good thing for those who want to wash their engines, but the exterior dries itself just from driving so I don't bother with it. There is an option to use credit cards but I highly advise against paying with a card since it's an unsupervised self-serve wash which makes it susceptible for skimming devices, so only use cash to buy tokens.

I'd live here if I could. They're the only car wash around that has credit card payments set up so ur able to swipe ur card and receive tokens for the vacuums and purchasing stuff (air freshener, cleaning products, etc.) out of the vending machine, which has a phenomenal selection by the way. The washes aren't too expensive and its always clean. Definitely my favorite, high recommended!

This is a solid car wash! One usually wouldn't use "nice" and "bay car wash" in the same sentence. This location is the exception. All products stocked, CC reader working, and all sprayers/brushes in good condition. I'll be back!

Each time they charge my card $10, but the machine only gives out 5 tokens. Scammers.

My cost for a wash and rinse on my Scion TC was $9 and I wasn't even able to finish the job. Fyi: I was moving very fast against the timer. Makes more sense to use an automatic service.

Just the neighborhood wash. Management is nice, actually very helpful. Place is kept clean and they take credit cards!! Switched to token only about a year or so ago, far fewer homeless people asking for money since. It’s 24/7 and it shares a parking lot with Santiago’s as a bonus!

Nice car wash for self service care. The machine accidentally charged my card $4 due to not registering right away and in a phone call they corrected this for me immediately! The $6 charge people are mentioning is a charge that goes away once the pending transaction is posted in a couple days. This is standard for all self service car washes I've been to. Thanks Safari for being quick to resolve my card issue. Look forward to returning again!

This car wash takes money but doesn't register when you place coins in. I thought I was paying for a wash but their machine didn't give me credit for what I deposited. There isn't any help around and I didn't see any number to call to get reimbursed for the $9 I deposited. I understand $9 isn't a phenomenal amount of money, but how many $9 payments are they taking without any service being delivered? I am hoping they see this as well as others to be cautious in depositing money. It may have been the bay I was in, but regardless, I paid to use their car wash.

This car wash SEEMS like a great place, but the payment system screws you. They do not accept cash, and any time you use your credit card they charge you a $6 fee (which I did not see posted anywhere). Quick rinse of your car? You think it’s $5, but then the charge comes through as $11! Smells like a scam to me.

I love this carwash. It's our neighborhood go to. They take pretty good care of the place, it's been here for a while. The prices are good, and they don't overcharge for basic needs if you don't have them armor all, blue towels, etc.

I never use this car wash before, but I ended up going there and having no right time cleaning my car here vacuums work good the car wash works good, I think it was disappointing is the carpet shampooer didn't work and that was kind of a drag but I have my own stuff so I made the best of it. I probably wash my car there next time if I like it I'll just keep going there

i went to this carwash a while back and was stressed about them tokens. you could only used them there and quarters would of been better. i have now used my debit card and it is a joy. so it just runs until you press the stop button. i really like how there is a soap option for the pressure washer, and i really appreciate the air gun to get that water out a few cracks of my car and prevent it from leaving streaks when i drive away. there is a lot of options here. it is clean and everything has worked when i go. i recommend it.

I love this car wash. safari is always clean, and has everything needed to complete a full detail. Not to mention the owners were very understanding when I ran into some car troubles and had to leave my vehicle there overnight. Thanks safari.

I tried to use this car wash. This business does not accept quarters; you must use tokens. Driving in is difficult because customers from the next door restaurant wander around the car wash, and one person was eating their meal in the car wash bay closest to the restaurant. Thus, I did not use this business. I found another car wash that accepts quarters and does not have pedestrians wandering around the car wash hampering car washing activities.

Wouldn’t recommend this place. Pay close attention, not all of the bays have a blow dryer. The button says to press to end credit card charges but it also immediately ends your wash. What if I want to use the full time but not hit the button at the last minute? The selector knob is also trash, half of the options didn’t work. The ones that do work, it takes up to 30s to switch, wastes so much time. Oh one more thing. The soap is super diluted, basically useless. It’s only $8 but I honestly hated my experience here. Which is a shame since I’m like 2 minutes away.
