Came here for my 2nd booster shot and it’s obvious they care very little about it. Waited for 30min thinking the pharmacist was late or something but when I went back to the pharmacy counter, they said the pharmacist is getting the booster shot ready. Seriously??? It takes 30 minutes????? Next time I’m going else where for any pharmacy related transaction. If they offer Pfizer at CVS or Walgreens or Kaiser, I’m the heading there. It’s evident the pharmacist is old school and lack the preparation for his patients.

We always have a problem with the pharmacy. I just went in there they changed the hours so i was there 20 minutes before they owned. Someone walked by me while i was standing there at drop off window. Read the hour change for the weekend at the pick up area. Then sat down. I forgot the insurance card in the cat so i went out and i walked passed the pharmacy workers. They opened the drop off window then went to the pick up window penned it and helped that guy who was there after me who did a drop off. I them had a lady behind me in line and they helped her. Then i went to them i told them next time make sure that there is no line already formed because i was the last when i was the first. She then told me that he was there before me. How can she say who was there first when she didn't get there until 7:55 and i walked passed her. They also take for ever to fill the med you need.

My go to pharmacy since I moved to Merced. Quick checkout, clean store and store associates are excellent. I’ll get other misc items for the house as well, and impulse buys like candy and skin care products.

🌴Nice place. Remodel was decent. Most staff is helpful. We usually go there for Thrifty Ice Cream. Super yummy and does not kill the bank! ☘So glad they still have the Ice Cream shop!! 🍨Thanks Terry for helping us today.🌞 Kids were happy -🍦 can't go wrong with ice cream in the summer time 🌞

I scheduled a CoVid booster at 3:00pm. I arrived at 2:55 and was told it would be a 30 l minute wait, as the pharmacist needed to go to lunch. She didn't actually leave until 3:11, returned at 3:30 and I wasn't seen until almost 4:00pm. Pharmacist and the staff were great, but the pharmacy is woefully understaffed. Considering the demand on a weekend they really should schedule more staff, particularly pharmacists.

Lack of empathy lack of care lack of professionalism. Been in pharmacy 20 years and NEVER have I experienced such horrible service. Was judgmental out and not considered urgent because of my healthcare? Prescription called in at and told to pick up at 8pm. Received message it was ready only to walk into the Unapologetic lack of experience apparently to be told a diagnosis was needed and would be done tomorrow. From my experience are there not any doctors on call anymore? As a clerk/technician/pharmacist do we not call patients back anymore when there is a problem with your prescription. Was it because it was a controlled substance you decided to put it off and fear of calling the patient and letting them know, NO. I myself had to call the on-call doctor. I’m well aware of procedure and the process which this staff lacked. Does the oath you committed to not say, “ I will apply my knowledge, experience, and skills to the best of my ability to assure optimal outcomes for my patients.” And, “ I accept the lifelong obligation to improve my professional knowledge and competence.” To say the least? I never knew what a patient was feeling or going through it was NEVER my place to bestow judgment on them. Have we just decided to allow people to work based on education and experience despite human sincerity or empathy. these days. Time are tuff and hard I get even hard than years before. But I believe the word “I’m sorry” “let me see what I can do” exist anymore? I’m so disappointed and dissatisfied with the service here and would be highly ashamed to say I work there given the reviews posted. Has pharmacy turned to just another job that cuts a paycheck? So in closing I do hope the staff and manager are made aware and reminded of the position they’ve taken. Stop for a minute and put yourself in their shoes! You get to go home and night and do it all again tomorrow while I have to go to the emergency now!

Nice and clean, terrible service. Slow as molasses in January. Zero ambition or motivation to help patients needing medications. Waited over 17 hours for a prescription…..store is nice and new, front staff nice and does well, but pharmacy….

The staff at the pharmacy are Rude & Need to be spoken to By management on how to speak to patients, I think it has a lot to do mainly with patients who are on Pain Medication Ect…. It’s really Not their issue or problem, those on certain medication need to be treated respectfully just like the rest who aren’t on Pain or Anxiety medication, and on top of that they don’t have have all your meds at once they try to give you only half and then the other half a few days later just doesn’t make any sense, So please Management Respectfully I’m sure a lot of Us would like to see a change with your staff and if Not I Will be calling the BBB to file a complaint

I used to like Rite Aid a lot. It is different now. Firstly, my DR sent a prescription to them on Sunday, said it would be 30-60 minutes. I have been busy so I never went to get it until the Friday of, after work. On 11-26-21 around 5:48 PM Everyone was busy making prescription so I decided to wait patiently and stood where they at least saw me in view. To my dismay, the lady who saw me asked in a mean tone "Do you have a question or picking up" not even as a question. When she looked me up in the system, she said I have my prescription elsewhere. Literally there is only one Rite Aid on G Street and she is lying about it being in another pharmacy. Telling me they don't have my information. I asked if this was the Rite Aid on G Street like my doctor told me to go to. She said yes. I said then it is this place I'm supposed to be at. She told me it would be an hour to get my medicine. And scoffed when she asked if I got a text about my prescription being ready and I said yes (because it was supposed to be ready over 5 days ago. Talking to me like I'm stupid or something. I know things work, so I'm not incompetent like she wants me to be. I'm just overall disappointed at Rite Aid having that kind of staff there. Makes me want to choose Walgreens all over again. I've waited an hour and no text on my prescription being ready. More disappointment. Walgreens it is then.

My experience with Terrie the cashier left me feeling unwanted. You would think someone who gets hired to sit behind the register all day would be more polite and helpful. I have heard about rude employees at this store before but for the first time I experienced it for myself.

Pharmacy is awful, from Communicating all the way to picking up your Meds. I don't know if it's because there under staffed, taking to many breaks or just Lazy. But there's just no excuse for a patient having a major procedure to need to wait 3 whole days after the Doctor has sent the orders prior to surgery for meds. And still after calling when I was discharged they only had 3 medications out of the 7 that I need for blood clots, stomach pain, etc. Very frustrating. I could elaborate more on my experience there but I just hope they do better overall or find a different day job. Going to call soon to see IF they can work on the rest of my meds. That I needed yesterday.

Constantly having issues filling my prescriptions on time. I have a condition that constantly needs to be checked with medication. They always give me an attitude and NEVER answer their phone. I have gotten text alerts 4 days ago claiming my medication was ready for pickup i been going to the pharmacy everyday since then they say "it will be ready tommorow". I dont know if thats their way of getting me out of the store just so they dont have to deal with me or they just dont care. Well 4 days later my medication still is not ready. This rite aid used to be great but i guess i will be taking my buisness else where, where i feel cared about as a patient.

Hands down worst customer service! Second drive-through is never working at this place, but they don’t put signs out. Rude, rude, and ruder. Literally uttered as few words as possible. I HATE this place!! Need to move my scripts elsewhere. This place has gone downhill very fast!!

For the past twenty years I’ve been using this Rite Aid’s pharmacy for all my medications. It has always been a pleasant experience with the service they provided. The store is excellent and everyone in the pharmacy was always in a good and enjoyable mood to talk to, but as of these last two or three years it’s customer service quality at the pharmacy has changed. Yesterday 1/29/22 at 11:35am I was told that my medication was going to take three hours to fill. This was no problem for me because I had prior engagements. I took the three hour window the pharmacy had given me and showed up a half hour later then they expect me. I was told when I got to the pharmacy they were going to put me at the top of the list and instructed me to wait another thirty minutes. At this point I was upset so I left and came back ten minutes after 6pm to find they were closed. This is not how upper management should run a business and a medical operation during this tough time in our country.

There were a lot of empty shelves, a couple whole rows completely empty. 2 of the frozen food doors were completely empty, while the 3rd one only had about 6-7 items. Where is the stuff? One row had a bag of garbage sitting on the floor that customers have to go around or step over. Some drinks were on sale for $1 each, which is a good price, but you do have to be a "member" of their "club" and enter your phone number to get the sale price. Seems like items are a little pricey, but when the items are on sale, the prices are good. I was waiting for my prescriptios and asked at the pharmacy if they were ready. A man in the pharmacy told me the machine is slow and is very slow on weekends, I was there on Saturday. He said often it's even slower on Saturdays! While waiting for my prescriptions, I happened to look at a water dispenser in the waiting area. It was disgusting. I would not let my dog drink from it! Someone should be cleaning it, at least daily. I was so grossed out that I took a couple pics. I don't plan on going back and I would not recommend this Rite Aid to others.

Nice ladies here at the pharmacy! I get greeted “have a nice day!” at the door, too, when I am leaving. Happens more than once. Nice location too, right next to ups and dollar tree. Only reason why I’m not giving. 5 stars is because the pharmacy ladies sometimes are very short with me. Other than that, this place is cool. I don’t even blame them! Lol.

I have been using the pharmacy for years! Up until the merger the pickup window was pretty quick and the line inside moved well. WELLLLLL today I go in to grab my prescription and my CA driver’s license expired on my birthday. So the nurse said “It’s at the Pharmacist discretion” so here comes KEVIN THE PHARMACIST!!!! I explain the situation and he looks at me and said “Ya you’re gonna have to send someone you can trust with a license to pick this up, I can’t release them”! In my last attempt I explain again I have been on this medication at this pharmacy for over a year and I use pay n go on the app, still NO BUDGE!! So I turn around and ask the next man in line for help which he agreed! KEVIN takes the man’s card and looks at him with a long pause, ROLLED HIS EYES!! and said “Sir are you sure you feel comfortable doing this?” LONGGGGG PAUSE again and said to me “I’m noting your account!” WELLLLL OKAY KEVINNNNN, note away!! Smhhhhh Such BS!! SORRY KEVIN YOU’RE HAVING A BAD DAY!!! So thank you to the man in line for helping someone out in a bind. Blessings to you! Pharmacist KEVIN thanks for almost ruining my night but God is GOOD!

The pharmacy needs to open the same time as the store! Real people work 8-5 jobs and would love the pharmacy to align with the 8am store hours. The weekend hours are terrible too! It's is such an inconvenience to come on my lunch hour and pick up my meds with a long line. They finally got the drive through back after several months because it needed to be repaired. Ridiculous that it took that long for a window to be repaired for service.

I been having problems with my medication out of stock at this location when I don’t take this prescribed medication make me feel really zoned out and dizzy. I received message saying that they were out of stock but they ordered then next day I received a message saying that the medication was ready to pick up I sent my husband bc I been feeling really bad without the medication and they charge him $60 dollars on medication that was prescribed to me months ago that I didn’t buy bc was cheaper over the counter and the medicine I need it to pick wasn’t even on that medication was overcharged and didn’t even got the right medication they also didnt told him what medication was he getting not disclosure to him I will have to change my pharmacy I don’t recommend this pharmacy that overcharges and don’t get your prescribed medicine and also I keep calling them but they don’t answer

I was promised some Thirfty Ice cream a while ago and so I took my youngest to try it out and it was delish! They have a variety of flavors. I come here often and I have always had a good experience. Today Nancy assisted us with the ice cream and was so kind to me and my son. She was cashering and also took care of us at the ice cream section. I looked through the aisles and as always clean and organized! The woman's bathroom was clean and stocked.. the men's 😬stunk and needed to be clean there was even a cigarette in the floor. But that was the only negative. They have Amazon hub and a pharmacy inside as well. The ATM is down when i went. They also have Western union services. Your missing out if you don't check out the cool stuff they have for holidays and summer! Such cool merch! Your winning Rite-aid just TLC the men's bathroom like the woman's. I'll be here again definitely!
