Im a mobile mechanic and I do a lot of buisnes with many different auto parts stores, from Merced to modesto. All day every day. In any city I prefer O'Reilly vs AnyotherZtore becouse in my opinion they are more knowledgeable and will always do the best they can to help you. With that said, me being a local to Merced and using the 16th St location the most, I have to say, Edgar (closing shifts) has taken it above and beyond with his customer service. He's absolutely never made me feel rushed in any way even the times we've had to search for really lonong periods of time for whatever reason. Never has gotten frustrated searching or helping me and makes me feel welcomed as soon as I step in to the store . I took this time to write this review becouse it is the very least I can do to show my gratitude towards him. For anyone looking for parts, I highly recommend heading over to O'Reillys before anywhere else, don't think twice about it. Quality and economic prices, service that can't be beat and many locations.

When we had our old motorhome towed there to diagnose ourselves (w/a certified mechanic family member's assistance from out of town), the staff were all very friendly & helpful & 1 guy even knew things about our particular year's make & model that the mechanic did not! The manager didn't mind us keeping it parked there for the 2 days it took for us to find a tow dolly rated for it's weight & have a family member tow it for us & thoughtful manager even surprised our 9-yr-old w/a couple of new toys!

I have done a lot of business here, the staff is always ready to help and if they don't have what I need in stock they will call their other store for me to see if they have it. If they do have to order it then most times will have it the next day. They keep their prices competitive and their store is always clean. I feel confident in the staffs knowledge and they treat me with respect which some places don't because I am a female, other places act like l don't know a thing about cars when reality is I know alot about cars. I have 7 older vehicles and they all run nicely. They also have loaner tools for the times when you need them but don't want to buy a new tool you will probably never use again. I recommend this place highly.

Would like to thank Fernando for such great service, had a bad experience in Mariposa at that OReillys location, and Luis was able to assist here in Merced, he tested my battery and switched it out for me with a new one. Thanks again Fernando! Great customer service!

Went in to buy a vacuum hose for my wife's car nut they were out of the size I needed. The working looked in the back and found a about 1 ft of a different size but it did go on the fitting I needed to. Go make it an even better morning the just gave it to me. Great place and very good and nice customer service.

I been with this store for a long time had no problems at all but sense bobby was transferred to a new store the new manager seems to be getting rid of the most important people in the comercial area this guy need to get out of this store heโs nothing but problems. TIM NEEDS TO GET THIS MATTER RESOLVED. Until them ill take my business somewhere else i hope other people and shops do the same. So supervisors can really see what a snake they have as manager. And stop protecting him.

My experience here was the best I've ever had! You have an employee by the name of Lesli. All I have to say is that every single store needs a Leslie. She literally greeted me with the most positive and approachable attitude. She has the best customer service skills I have ever seen in a person. Customer service is everything to me. It's actually what makes a business. Trust me, if you dont have that skill, you have no business. That's my personal opinion, and it makes total sense. She remembered talking with me on the phone. She went far and beyond, making sure I had the right item and educated me on it a bit. She's very knowledgeable. She literally took her time while attending to me cause I knew absolutely nothing about what I needed or even how to install it. I can say that I was one impressed customer to have even met Lesli. Thank you, Lesli, you're the best! ๐

I would give five star to the morning guy who had helped me should of got his name. I thought it would be easier to go back there since they said that they can help me replace something for me cause itโs my first time I need help so I had my stuff sent to pick up later but the guy who help me next must be someone in charge or think he is charge could of told me that they are busy and he canโt help he shouldnโt have gave me hope he made me waited 20mins until when I asked him again it doesnโt hurt to say no thatโs all he could of said I would of understood. So one star for me I understood why the other guy got mad he was put on hold and they never got back to him.

Brakes needed to be done. I googled resurface rotors. Came to this store close by. Dropped off rotors to be resurfaced.(11:30Am )The gentleman was nice and said two hours. Came in at 2 hour mark. They said 45 min working on the second one. I missed a call and was within time i figured they were ready. Second visit (1 hour later). Now, they say working on second rotor it will be another 45 min.(2:30pm) I call the missed call put me on hold for 15 min. Than they say there ready. Bumy the time i get back to the store for the 3rd time. Today is my day off. Whole process at this specific location , was just inconvenient . As far as the turn around time. Now, it's raining and I still have no rotors, A 2 hour break job for me will become an all day project for me. In the rain.

Every time I go here, I get great customer service from Marcus. He's very knowledgeable about every problem I've had with my vehicles and today I asked him to help me change a headlight bulb (because I've always had bad luck changing them) and without hesitation, he said yes and got the job done without any issues. People like him deserve a promotion or a raise fr!!!

This place is horrible store to get your parts ..is a hassle they else offer rotor resurfacing. They told me you need to bring the rotors in obviously I have to take them off my car and drove to the store .dropped them off with the Marcus who's the store manager he told me the rotors will.be ready in about an hour and half .I left they call me an hour later that they will.not be available to do the resurfacing because they do not have the proper tools. To do it on my rotors I try to speak with him hi was ignoring me acting like a stupid. Wich I believe he is, I else told him you have told me about this before not 1 hour later ,and else got some hardware that was the complete wrong hardware he made me when back to the store 4 times.and with no solution to my problems I was so frustrated that I ended up going to the dealership to get the parts I need it ..when I when back and return the parts, to him he was asking me oh what kind of vehicle it is at this point I told him that doesn't matter now . You made me spend half of the day between trips coming and goin I finally was available to return the complete wrong parts that the store manager got me what I think is how the give the title of a manager to un unconpet guy like this they should train much better this people in order to help a customer not the other way around he doesn't even know how to treat a customer . Besides this is not the first time that they make me had a headache. O Reilly sucks,, I will.not recommended this store .to anybody if you have access to other auto parts . I Will recommend to go somewhere else first .before you get here. Unless you like to have a extremely bad day ..go there I will rate this store with minus 10 stars if it was possible ..bottom parts are the original manufacturer and the ones they got me you can see the differences on how the metal is bended and this is very dangerous because it can come the off the security metal pins ,on your brake rotors. And make you crash, I will not trust this people anymore they could have kill me if I was not putting attention on this very simple part.of course there's more parts ..but this could have me in to a very bad situation please people do not trust on this auto parts .people they are not train at all . I went in the store at 11:30 am and by 4: 03 pm they did not resolve my problem and here the proff on thr receips
