I don’t normally leave reviews, February 6. I went to the Altoona Mr. car wash to get my black pick up clean, I paid for the top car wash, when I pulled in there was no pre-wash or anything like they used to do? When I got done with the car wash, I drove approximately one block away to the Hy-Vee fast and fresh store, when I came back out, I noticed the whole passenger side of my pick up was not clean. It was just smeared and there was a film all down the side. I tried to call the store twice and nobody ever picked up. You’re better off using a Bucket of urine and cow manure mix rather than use this car wash customer service sucks. No way to contact anybody too many other options nowadays for car washes so search for a better one.

I never give reviews, but today I thought I should because of the exceptional service that was given to me by Breanna. The weather has been pretty rainy lately, and my car had dirt all over it since getting stuck in the mud. I asked Breanna if it was okay for her to put some extra love to my vehicle and she was more than delighted to help spray all the mud off for me. I am super thankful as she did not have to do that for me and it made my day better. Thank you Breanna for taking the time to do that!

First time coming to this location and my man went to town with the pressure washer on my wheel wells to help get the snow and ice off. He needs some extra credit. With the Mr car wash it’s kind of rare I get someone that sprays the wheels but I really appreciate the service!!

I live in the country and therefore my truck is often covered in gravel dust, I decided to start going and getting a car wash every time I come into town. I will never go anywhere else. My truck is always spotless and looks like brand new when I leave. I appreciate also that while they do offer car wash plans, they don’t try to force you to start a plan like other car wash companies. A special shout-out to Jacob Dank who made sure to get all of the tough, stuck on, dirt and grime on my truck. Jacob really went the extra mile to make sure that my truck left looking perfect. I will continue to come back, time and time again. Thanks

Just moved into the area and everyday I am reminded why I love the people in Iowa. My car is not in the greatest shape but I really needed a wash. I was worried of the brushes tearing up my already broken car, but Breanna reassured me through the process and took great care of my car! You can even do brushless here! Don't let the brushes scare you away! Will for sure be coming back to her!

Been coming here since it opened but starting to get very disappointed by the vacuums and air compressors. They have went downhill a lot, and don’t work very well anymore… might have to change my membership for all of our vehicles including our company vehicles

Best mr car wash around! Nothing is ever broken in the wash, the staff always pre soak my windshield and always power wash the back as i'm pulling in. I drive a Wrangler so the pre soak is much needed for the windshield & the power wash on the back helps get behind the spare tire

After visiting this car wash, it was my first time there, I still had a huge chunk of snow and ice in my wheel well. I watched the car in front of me get much more service from the manual detailer, then pretty much wave me forward. After noticing the oversight, I returned within 30 minutes with receipt, and was told to bug off or pay for another round by the manager. $27.82, and I'm left with a block behind my tires that they would touch with a 10 foot pole without more money. Never ever going to visit another Mister Car wash without righting this mishap on their behalf. I only want my money worth, and was told to bug off.

Abby was my technician today when I came to get my car washed. She is phenomenal! Often times I have to ask the regular employee to spray the front and back of my car before I go in but Abby went above and beyond by preemptively spraying for me. It is an out of the ordinary experience for this car wash and was above and beyond! I actually went inside so I could thank her because it is a huge pet peeve for me and she took care of it without asking. She was very kind and friendly in person, as was the other woman in the lobby. 10/10.

Mediocre service for a lot of money. No cleaning chemicals provided, you even have to pay for a towel. Paid for platinum cleaning, missed a whole bunch of spots. Nothing about this place makes me want to come back, everything sucks other then the vacuums, they dont suck very well.

Fantastic customer service and they do a great job even with my severely gravel coated vehicles. The tire and underside cleaning is an absolute must to get rid of the gravel dust that builds up. Super close and convenient to Bondurant. This is my car wash of choice.

Clean area to clean your vehicle. They are a clean facility. Never needed an employee so no accurate rating for them but clearly they are good at their job cause the lot don't clean itself. I saw one fellow clearing the debris from a clogged vacuum . Free vacuums , large space, safe area. Located near I-80 and the Des Moines Outlets

Everything‘s great. The only problem I’ve ever had is that the automatic gate readers won’t pick up the sticker on my windshield, and the employees have to scan it manually. They’ve changed the sticker once, but it still doesn’t work so it’s probably something about my car.

Worst wash ever at Altoona, IA. Car still dirty and employees said nothing they can do and that they are told to not spray cars. Try to call and email to ask who is going to finish cleaning my car and who is going to pay for the license plate that finally broke after bending in half so much from getting washes and of course no one responds no one calls no one answers their phones. Just ridiculous. Been trying for a couple weeks now because I really want to hear the excuses but crickets. There is another new wash place not far they will get a shot with my $100 a month now. Worthless.

Unbelievable, my car was worse after they “cleaned” the interior! Paid for the highest package thinking that it would at least cover my seats being wiped down right? No they power washed around my trim of the car and it then sprayed dirt and mud everywhere! I tipped the lady before I saw the job they did and called her back over to show her and she said they don’t wipe seats down. But it didn’t have mud on the seats before I even got it cleaned. She handed me a rag so I could do it myself. What a joke. I was with my young daughter so I didn’t immediately go in. I tried calling several times and leaving a message and of course no response. I also have smear marks and scratches on my car. I will NEVER come back here.
