Awesome store with even awesomer employees! Mast General Store is a little gem. They have really cool merchandise and the employees are friendly, genuine and engaging. Honestly, the way we were treated by the staff, made me want to spend my money here. When people are treated well, they excel at their jobs. Keep up the good work Mast General Store!

The first 2 times I bought shoes at Mast I had a great experience. The sales lady directed me to good shoes both times(very knowledgeable). The service people were eager to help and assisted me every inch of the way. This last time I shopped there on August 25(Monday) service was rather bad. The 2 service people working in the shoe dept were far more interested in talking to themselves than helping me. I had to ask for their help and then the man who came over to help disappeared after a few minutes. The help he gave was minimal ,and I found out, not very helpful. The woman just stood by the cash register looking around the store. Service was not nearly as good the last time I was there. I'll continue to shop there (a very good store other than that), I'll be more demanding from now on.

This store is true American nostalgia! Almost like crackers barrel! This store has two floors each with awesome little knick snacks, outdoor apparel, and things you only remember from your childhood! A great ppace for sole unique gifts too! I cant believe ive lived her all this time and never checked this store out sooner!

Visited here for the first time. It's set up like an old fashioned mercantile store. They have a small but excellent selection of clothes. Plenty of souvenir type items and a lot of candy, toys, books, candles, shoes, outdoor equipment and jewelry. I found plenty of things that I loved! There's really something here for everyone! I'm so glad we decided to stop in and take a look. Don't miss it.

I used their website to order some things for Christmas. I had seen their cute commercial during evening news. I would have drove the hour or so from SW Virginia but, I had just been told I have cancer. Anyway, I looked on the website which was wonderful and easy and ordered the gifts I needed. this store is so cozy and has so many cool sections! it's fun it sorta feels like an antique store with all the cool props they have around. they have a bunch of clothes, niche foodstuffs, fun merch, and a whole outdoorsy section upstairs! they also have a decent knife selection with some good brands.

I absolutely love visiting this store when I'm in town. It's such a beautiful throw back to simpler times and yet has such a huge variety of items that it feels like a new visit each time I come. I hope it keeps going for 140 more years. Definitely take the time to stop in!

Really enjoyed my experience shopping and walking around Mast General. Love the barrels of 🍬🍭 candy, 🍿 popcorn, 🧸🪀 toys, and housewares to buy as gifts or for personal use. They also have amazing apparel here. Outdoor wear 🧢🧥 from name brands, shoes 👟🥾, jackets and more. The staff here are amazing and friendly and they do have ♿ handicap accessible features, 🚻 restrooms and entrances.
