Today I found tops, slacks, light weight sweaters & cover-ups for a summer wardrobe that met with the approval of my Mom. She will be looking smart at the senior facility. The styles were casual designer knock offs in muted colors. The fabrics were soft to the touch & quality cottons, linens & rayons. The prices were moderate.

Always interesting to poke around in. Usually has a unique selection of goods at great prices. Weekends are a mad house and the store is a mess but week days are fine. The clerks are absolutely clueless so don't bother asking for help. It's probably because the inventory turns over so quickly. The staff is, however, friendly and polite. The home furnishing dept is full of pieces you won't find elsewhere in Gilroy. If you see something you like, grab it because they rarely get the same items in stock. The clothing departments offer really amazing deals on brand names. There is a big show department, a nice beauty department, some food items, a large pet department, and an interesting houseware department. There is also a big purse section, an athletic section, and a small luggage department. Holidays are a great time to find interesting decor and gifts at a good price. The store was very clean and the staff was friendly, but the item selection in the store left something to be desired. Normally whenever I go to a Marshall's I'm expecting wall to wall and floor to ceiling items. This particular store seemed as if it had just gone through a rush and hadn't been restocked yet.

Always clean. Curtious employees. Hit and miss with merchandise though.. I found a great pair of women's slacks, not in my size:( That seems to always be the issue when I shop there. Don't have an issue with other items very often.

Love this store! I prefer it over Ross. The prices are cheap for good quality clothes. They have a large variety of items like shoes, household goods, dishware, baby clothes, Halloween decor, etc. I'm rating 4 out of 5 because employees are hit or miss. Some are awesome and others are a little rude. It's like rolling a dice. Regardless, we bought a skull soap dispenser, skull salt shakers, Hocus pocus cookie jar, a Winnie the pooh spoon holder, Halloween pajamas and Halloween throw blanket. 😁

I always love going in this store and look around to see what treasures I might find. The women's clothes always feel boring, but I love the variety of shoes, hair products, baby items, and household things. Since becoming a new mother I was incredibly disappointed to find out they don't have a changing table (odd because their sister store Home Goods does). The employees on the floor could be more useful.

My husband and I just came in (3/17/24 around 3:15pm) to get a sensor tag removed from a men's shirt that Los banos store missed. The cashier said this isn't the receipt for item. It seemed the $24.99 tag went scanned for swimwear, clearly it's a men's shirt. She didn't rescan to see error only looking at first 4 numbers. She calls manager. Then says she'll remove if we aren't planning to return. After she removes it, she calls manager and I hear her say on phone they had attitudes. That's when I turn back around before walking out and let her know I heard what you said, call your manager. Manager comes out and I told her it's not ok what she said to you on phone and clearly it's not ok you as higher up should be entertaining her behavior. She said you didn't hear what I said, mind you cashier hung up when I heard her so she didn't have time to respond. Manager is smiling, and I said you think this is funny as you're smiling, her response is what should I frown. It's very unprofessional their approach, their verbal responses, and customer service lacks greatly. 1st approach should’ve been “Let me see what I can do”, let me scan item, let’s get this taken care of for you” Training is needed greatly.

Most of the time this store is really well kept and stocked with all kinds of goodies.i wish they had a better selection of plus size clothes. I would also like it if they had a larger selection of leather bags. Staff is always nice and they are always hiring.

Gilroy Marshall's is a very large store with lots of items and well organized. In other words, displays were easy to go through to find what you're looking for. The staff was friendly as well. I recommend this Marshall's store.

Didn’t get her name but at 12:35 on 2/5/25 I went to the store and wanted a pair a jeans and when I went to pay register 1 lady didn’t want to sell me the jeans for the price it had in the tag and she said they the price wrong and they where high priced. The same lady told my girlfriend she something about a dog collar!! This lady is being weird and I don’t think she knows what her job is.

store is good love it but there personal is very ruth cashiers are more interesting in there personal life then the costumers, I have a bad experience with 2 cashiers the same day. Thank God i was an a good mod and i dint want anybody to ruin that but it will be nice to have better experience wile you checking out. Managers I invite you to train your cashiers to be nice with the costumers!

6:25 pm 08/29/25 ( WHY DID THEY DENY A SALE) Do not come here worst experience in this . I go into shop getting things for my friend spend a good 40 mins in the marshalls one of my items I noticed a slight damage so when I finally go Into line and they "help me" I casually ask can I get a discount for that small bit of paint chipped off this 30$ hello kitty ceramic l, they end up asking a coworker with and ugly face and horrible make up and a nasty personality to match that they can't sell it. When I told my friend that they cant sell us that item they tell me they don't want anything anymore, as I am walking out they start breaking the ceramic to the trash that only had that small damage. I wouldn't have minded buying it full price but they completely shut out the option to purchase it anymore they lady that did this didn't even want to look at me she just told her coworker to tell me that I couldn't buy it , wouldn't recommend going here unless you want a bad day
