Lowes in Bellingham Wa. Is a friendly and helpful store, their staff can find items I need and cannot seem to find. I highly recommend this store.

The employees here treat me like i’m going to steal something, I felt like that they didn’t want to help me but instead watch me and follow me around like i was not there to buy anything. It’s too bad that people think because i’m native that i must be there to steal . sucks

We are remodeling our house. Picking floor colors was stressful. But Lowe's had physical samples and that made choosing a lot easier. Found a great flooring and started putting it down yesterday. We love it and it looks great.

Took 6 months for them to complete an install. Every time they set a new date for install, they'd call that same day, cancel the appointment, and book 4-6 weeks out. Follow-up calls were never returned. No efforts on their end to help find a solution. Told me they'd offer compensation at the end of it. What's the offer? Store credit. After paying hundreds and being dragged along and ignored for 6 months. Not only is this the worst service/experience I've ever had with a company, I still don't see it as resolved. I've had much better experiences with Bellingham Home Depot in terms of service, responsiveness, efficiency, and project management. I'd recommend going through them and avoiding Lowe's, especially if you require any sort of installation.

TEN STARS for Lowes home delivery service for major appliances. Martin and Gabriel are both OUTSTANDING employees who went the extra mile to ensure the delivery and setup process of my LG washer/dryer was truly exceptional. They are highly skilled and professional in every aspect of the job from start to finish. Thank you for a Job WELL DONE!

As regional facilities director for a nonprofit with a dozen locations across the county and over half of the buildings are over a hundred years old my plate is always full and there is never enough money to do what needs to be done. I have come to the pleasure of the employees and management of the Bellingham Lowe’s. They have even responded with lower prices on overstock items so I can make ends meet. Recently I needed to pause and focus my mind, while there, an employee said “excuse me sir, are you ok?” His concern was genuine, and while I assured him that I was, I was touched that the culture of my local Lowe’s allowed and encouraged their employees to go the extra mile. Also recently I saw a large pallet of rock wool insulation and after asking for a lower price as I would be paying out of my own pocket to support the nonprofit church I work for they checked with onsite management and approved a price I could afford to support a project. I know Lowe’s used to have a bad rep for customer service, but in my experience over the last four years our Bellingham Lowe’s has a culture that supports the customers and community.

This store has the best customer service of any big box store I’ve ever visited! We were shopping for many items for a new house and every person who helped us was great. Steve at the pickup counter is excellent.

My family started the process of having an exterior door installed by Lowes on Jun 17. As of Nov 20, the install is still not complete, and Lowes is unable to issue a refund. The entire process has been a disaster, with both Lowes and the third party installer refusing to take responsibility for the failure of the install. Please look up reviews for PSG installers before making any agreements with Lowes. They have nothing but bad reviews. I'm not out several thousand dollars, and was left with a giant hole in my wall. They strung me along for so long that I am unable to do a credit card charge back with my bank - and I wonder if their delays in installs are intentional. I've wasted hours of my time calling Lowes and PSG, just to be strung along. The third party installers hired by Lowes marked our install as complete on Aug 28, even though the install has NOT been completed. I've been calling Lowes and PSG installers every single week for 3 months trying to get this resolved. PSG states they can neither "confirm or deny" that the install occurred. Lowes states that they can't refund until PSG confirms if they did the work. I have provided photos to 2 different people at Lowes showing how the project was left. They keep promising to discuss it with management and call me back, but that never happens. The door apparently has a "one year warranty" - but it's been 5 months of even trying to get it installed properly.

Lowe's has a new business model that has specialized sales associates approach customers and attempt to pressure them into unwanted and unsolicited sales. This happened to me a few nights ago when I was in the plumbing isle and I was approached by a Lowe's associate desperate to pressure me into buying a gutter upgrade for my house. She was not there to ask me if I needed help in the plumbing isle. It felt like I had stumbled into a used car lot with the worst high pressure salesperson. Lowe's management, this strategy for cornering customers will fail and you will begin to lose long time customers like myself who are not willing to be harassed with unsolicited and unrelated sales while shopping. Shame on you.

Peyton in the paint department is always so kind and considerate <3 It's always wonderful to see a friendly face when walking in and know that you're going to talk to someone knowledgeable. I've watched Peyton drop what they were doing to help someone without a second thought when it could've been something reasonably missed and that thoughtfulness is really cool to see. :)

Paid $600+ for an ego mower that was defective out of the box. Due to extenuating circumstances wasn’t able to get back to the store within the 30-day return policy. Got back at day 35. No refund from Lowe’s. Their solution, take it up with ego. Great. Sell items that don’t work and take no accountability. I should’ve known better than to shop at a big box store. Never again. Back to hardware sales. **Update: after multiple visits, complaints, etc., Lowes was able to help me with the return. But only because one person decided to say, yes, when everyone else said no. So, thanks to that one employee.

I can’t believe how bad the customer service is… Nathan, one of the store managers, flat out refused to sell me the last remaining available item, a rug, because it was “their display.” Even though they had no other stock available, they were unwilling to sell the product, which we were all looking at while talking. Isn’t that their entire business? “Come back another time”, he said. As if I’ll be coming back anytime soon…

They usually have what I need from a hardware store and the employees are nice but not always helpful. There employees don't have the background that somewhere like hardware sales has. No former electricians or plumbers just associates that don't know a lot about what they sell. Other than that thrley are great and prices are competitive.

Purchased a new entry door — long story short it had some, what I would call quality control issues in the finish, that I didn’t see until I got home and ready to unbox it/old frame out. Out of excitement I proceeded to install it hoping warranty could just replace the door itself. Carol in the door/window department made the swap for a new replacement absolutely flawless versus offering me essentially scratch and dent discount that the returns counter offered. So pleased with the outcome of a potential stressful scenario.

Poorly managed store. They won’t cut ¾” plywood because they claim it will break their industrial saw?? All other Lowes/HD stores I’ve been to have no problem doing it. This is more of a corporate issue but they also have Flock cameras in the parking lot, your vehicle is being tracked and added to Flock’s database every time you enter their lot.

I went here to find my smart light bulbs. Using the online website gave me the exact location of the bulbs making store navigation very easy consider the size of the store. So far the GE sync lights easy to install withe use of the app and are working out greater than anticipated.

Do not buy anything from this Lowe’s that requires installation. The workmanship is worse than shoddy, refunds take months, and you have to constantly chase them for your own money. Refunds are issued in piecemeal increments, and they ultimately refused to return the full amount for materials and labor. It honestly feels like a system designed to let Lowe’s keep a little extra money without completing the work or providing a real service. You will be assured that they use competent, experienced installers. They do not. We ordered a sliding glass door and a front door—both very expensive items, with excessive installation fees. The sliding glass door fortunately arrived badly damaged and was the wrong door. Given the quality of the front-door installation, this may have saved our home from serious structural damage, as the sliding door installation required major framing work. The installers who handled the front door clearly had little to no experience installing doors. They removed the old door, shoved the new one tight against the right side of the jamb, nailed it in place, handed me the keys, and left. The door would not close. When I pointed this out, they adjusted the strike plate—making it even worse—and then left without fixing the problem. I had to hire a separate company to correct their work. After months of arguing with Lowe’s, they eventually issued a gift card, not a proper refund. The sliding glass door refund was even worse. Lowe’s made me wait while they “negotiated” with the manufacturer and installers. It took seven months to get most of my money back. They refunded the door first, then I had to repeatedly follow up to get the labor refunded. They never refunded the door trim. In the end, I paid Lowe’s $65.21 for the privilege of spending countless hours on the phone trying to reverse charges—because they apparently do not have qualified door installers in Whatcom County, Washington. Based on this experience, I strongly suspect this problem extends to other installation services they offer. Be extremely careful entrusting the structure of your home to installers provided by this store. At best, you’ll pay with your time and sanity fighting for a refund. At worst, you’ll pay again to fix their mistakes.

Lowe's has just about everything needed to build just about anything. The staff is great, especially the ladies that work in the contractor section. I do masonry work and I make mosaic outdoor furniture. I go through a lot of mortar and thinset. Lowe's has every single thing I need, other than white portland cement. Lowe's is my favorite. I carry my own 80lb bags and my favorite check out person calls me Rosie the Riveter. Of course she's my favorite!

I can’t say enough great things about working with Sarah W. during my kitchen remodel. From the moment I walked in, her positive attitude and genuine desire to help made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and - dare I say - fun! Her eye for design is spot on and gave me the confidence to make decisions quickly without second-guessing myself. Sarah’s knowledge of materials and products is top-notch. She explained options clearly, offered smart suggestions, and always went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find someone who is both incredibly skilled and truly cares about the customer experience. HIGHLY recommend working with Sarah for any remodeling project. Lowe’s is very lucky to have her!
