This is the second week in a row where my online order gets canceled because no one is available to fill it. I hope you guys don't get your merger because it would leave only one grocery store in the country with horrific service. Would give negative stars if possible. Also 3 to 7 days for a refund of a full family grocery order? Most people can't afford to pay for two rounds of groceries when you take their money for the first one and don't provide it the order. As another reviewer posted, please close down already it's clear that no one works there.

Older short haired woman made it very apparent that Latinos are not welcome in this store. 11/24 started watching me scan items as soon as my husband who is Latino joined me, interrupted me scanning things and asked if I scanned the baby wipes. I showed her I had and she turned around and walked away, no thank you or my bad. I asked if she needed to see my receipt at the end because I felt like we may have been accused of something otherwise, she said no and of course the alarms went off when we tried to leave. I offered my receipt again to a young man and he declined and said we were fine to go. Honestly used to discrimination in Virginia but itβs still hard.

The dark skinned lady with glasses who stocks the baby formula is the most rude person I've ever met and she automatically profiles you if you pick up a can of formula to buy and automatically thinks your stealing it will follow you around the store and talk about you on their stupid little radios I heard her say my hair length what color hoody I had on to watch me and make sure I pay for it she then follows me around till I'm done then follows me to the self checkout line and watches me pay for it and I've never stolen a single thing from there. It's not right you feel like your being constantly watched for buying baby formula that my baby freaking needs. When I confronted her the next time I bought some when she did the exact same thing again she used bad language and couldn't give me a reason why she was following me around. The manager of this store should not allow this to happen it's pathetic and down right profiling and something needs to be done about it I hope the manager sees this post and actually does something about it because have complained many times and nothing is ever done she just keeps doing it and this Kroger is the closest one to where I live because I don't drive. I just want to buy my kids baby formula without being treated like I'm a thief when I pay every single time. Hell I even work down the road and I'm in there spending money every single day and she is always there doing the same thing. You can litterly her her talking crap about you on her stupid radio if you buy anything down her aisle I even was followed when I only picked up my meds at the pharmacy and wasn't shopping I just walked in got my meds and walked out and be cause I walked past the baby section that she stocks Im followed it's become very annoying and one of these days someone isn't gonna be so nice to her about it like I am and I'm kinda starting to hope it does because it's not ok what she's doing to me or others.

Kroger, by and large, is a better-than-average grocery store. Like most large grocery stores today, you may have to wait in a long or slow line to check out. Same for self-checkout. Prices are higher here than at Food Lion or Walmart, but the variety and items available are usually above average. Finding assistance while shopping here is iffy ( as it is in most stores ) and the degree of good attitude among employees fluctuates from store as does the pricing and availability of stocked goods. Overall, Kroger is a reliable store regardless of location!

Your cashier, Andrew is a definite asset to your store. He is always helpful and friendly. It is so hard to maintain a possitive attitude in today's world but Andrew is always a pleasure, he always has a kind words. He is the reason I gave 5 stars in my overall review.

As soon, as you walk into the store, its always clean, organized, and well stocked. I like that a register or 2, is open with a cashier. The employees, are always helpful, friendly, and professional! Thanks Kroger, for doing things right, for your customers!π

This Kroger's needs to go ahead and close because they cannot keep up. No hot food. One employee making tons of Sushi.. one employee on the computer. A few days ago I spoke with a store manager and pointed -out this .. I can see she did nothing.

Always check the date on everything, they donβt remove old or expired items off the shelf. I also got the same bread that I regularly purchase form Kroger but got it from Walmart this time, I canβt even tell you how much better it tasted, smelled, and felt. Didnβt even seem like the same brand, was substantially better and Iβve just been suffering blindly with Krogers bread that keeps expiring a week before the expirations date. Raising the prices and lowering the quality. I hate that this is my closest grocery store.

I went to the store to try to cash one of my Western Union money orders I called ahead of time Western Union and the store they both told me that I could cash it or drive all the way there and they told me I cannot cash it even though it's Western Union because it didn't come from Kroger's the lady at customer service was rude disrespectful and had a total attitude while she was whispering to her manager I would not recommend going here for anything as they are rude disrespectful and do not know how to treat their customers thank you. Wasted my time my gas and my energy for nothing and was talked to rude

This Krogers lost its mind last night. Judy, stationed at self-checkout, decided to stand over me and scan all of my groceries herselfβignoring every other customer who actually needed helpβjust to make me look shady. Everyone in that area could see exactly what she was implying: that I couldnβt be trusted. Meanwhile, I was trying to keep an eye on my 5-year-old and watch Judy to make sure she didnβt double-scan my items. The experience was demeaning, patronizing, and downright insulting. In the end, I walked out and left behind a full cartβover $200 worth of groceries I had fully intended to pay forβbecause I refuse to spend my money where customers are treated like criminals for simply trying to shop. Congratulations, Judy. You managed to turn an ordinary grocery run into a public humiliation. I hope your corporate overlords at Kroger will make sure you are well compensated for your excessive effortsβ¦ probably notβ¦ βElizabeth Lee

They keep the store pretty stocked. Could do deals on cut meats. Like 5for $25. I'm single and don't want a huge pot roast. So, better options for fresh meat. The lines can get ridiculous at times when busy and all the self pay check out is closed. The store is good π. Clean. And they try to keep the shelves full

I can't say enough about the staff here. They are always extremely friendly and very helpful. Ask them a question and they won't stop until they've answered it or solved your problem. Unfortunately, corporate doesn't invest in this store. It badly needs a makeover and is not well stocked. A lot of items that I can find in other Krogers they just don't have.

I have been a loyal customer at this Brandon Avenue Kroger and find it to be a step above the Tanglewood mall location.. the staff consistently demonstrate exceptional friendliness and kindness. They will say hi, and offer to help you find items. Recently, I returned over $100 worth of unused beer from a recent event, originally purchased at the Clifton Forge Kroger. I was pleasantly surprised that they accepted the receipt (even though it showed the beer was purchased at the Clifton Forge, VA location) and processed the return with ease. You know.. I got to say.. this level of service made a significant impression on me, and Iβm grateful for their commitment to customer satisfaction. I will continue to shop at this loaction! Thank you!!

This was my first time ever using Krogerβs online pickup, and unfortunately, it confirmed exactly why Iβve avoided this service. I was already nervous about trying it, and somehow that anxiety turned into reality. I received three phone calls from the Towers Kroger at 3:46 pm, 3:50 pm, and 4:33 pm. The first two calls were about two items being out of stock. Fineβthings happen. However, my receipt later showed three additional items were also unavailable. If youβre already calling me, why not wait, review the entire order, and discuss all unavailable items and possible substitutes at once? That would have saved time and frustration on both ends. The third call is where things went completely off the rails. A different employee called to tell me not to come at my scheduled 5:00 pm pickup time because they were overwhelmed and my order would not be ready. I was never told that pickup stops at 6:00 pm. Trying to be understanding, I offered to come laterβaround 6:30 or 7:00 pmβto help them out. The employee enthusiastically agreed and thanked me. What I didnβt know (and apparently neither did she, or she chose not to say) was that pickup ends at 6:00 pm, meaning my order would never be completed. I arrived with my 84-year-old, handicapped mother in freezing weather, expecting to pick up groceries. We had no food at home, and my mother is diabetic and needed specific items. Instead, I was forced to abandon the pickup entirely and shop inside the store, dragging my mother along in the cold. When I went inside to ask about my order, a cashier was kind, listened to my situation, and tried to help. She asked a manager named J*** if anything could be done. Rather than coming over to speak with me like a professional, J*** yelled across the self-checkout area, βWell, sheβll have to pick it up tomorrow,β without making eye contact or even acknowledging me directly. It was shocking, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. In the end: I wasted hours of my time Lost my $20 first-pickup coupon Froze my elderly mother Spent more money than planned And received zero accountability or customer care What happened to actually communicating with customers? This was hands down the worst online pickup experience Iβve ever hadβand it was my first. If I ever decide to try pickup again, it will not be with Kroger. I may give Walmart a try, because this experience was unacceptable.

I like a Kroger's store, but this isn't my favorite. It seems smaller with less selection than the ones I'm use too. Lots of empty shelves, and why does the floor look so rough? On the plus side, you still can earn the fuel points and they do have some nice deals through the digital coupons.
