So AAA Toco Hills Car Care Plus was going to charge me $750+ to replace my starter on my beloved 1997 Toyota 4Runner/Ms. Toyo; I basically died and rose from the dead after AAA told me this. Did a Google search about the starter relay fuse and gave it a shot; $45 fuse fix, I’m game, but it wasn’t the fuse relay. Called K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop, to get a quote on a starter replacement and they quoted me about $412, and I had Ms. Toyo towed by AAA and was charged $100 by AAA because I went over my emergency tow limit. Either way, K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop was beyond honest with getting Ms. Toyo back up and running and it only cost me $197, because the repair had to do with the starter wiring. Like anyone else, I’m for honesty and great auto work and great customer service, and K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair shop delivered. I would highly recommend K & M Foreign & Domestic Auto Repair, to anyone and everyone; truly top notch. And side note, SHAME ON YOU AAA TOCO HILLS CAR CARE PLUS!!! SHAME!!! I highly recommend this place to get your car worked on. They did great work and were very honest with fair pricing. They never tried to up charge me; in fact, they reduced the cost of my diagnostic test since it only required 30 minutes out of the 60 minutes normally billed. I spoke with Dave and he was extremely friendly and answered all my questions respectfully and patiently. What’s nice about this place is they have a key drop off box where you can fill out your information & reasons for the visit on an envelope to put your car key in and drop it off. Since I get to work before they open, this allowed me to safely drop off my car without needing to keep my car unlocked or hiding my key. Also, they worked with me on making sure my car was fixed on the same day so I was able to pick it up after work. Overall, this was the best experience I’ve ever had at an automotive shop and will most definitely be returning.★★★★★ 8 months ago
