Decent variety and good replacement plan/warranty! I buy thousands of dollars' worth of hand tools here every year for my starter employees. I love their warranty for all Pitsburgh hand tools. I am rather choosy about what powered tools I purchase here but honestly have never been disappointed (especially when I purchase the replacement plans). They also have great sales if you're patient.

No matter what harbor freight I go into. I get stuck with no one at check out line even after repeatedly going around the stores looking for someone only to be told to look for another employee while they just stand there doing nothing literally 🙃 or they are hanging out with a customer and talking while ignoring me standing there waiting. This store is for non serious tool users for minimal applications. Most tools only last for one use. Pittsburg steel is horrible. Anyways i walked in and decided after trying again this time will be fine since its a different location but I was wrong. theres been enough wasted time at this store and wasted money only on junk metal tools. Pay 5$ get a few uses out of a wrench but pay 15 and it will work good and for life. And free life returns mean nothing when you returning the tools all through out your life. Like huh? Not one time In my life have I been able to walk in, find what I need and check out in a timely fashion. Stuff like a jack or flathead or shovels, pry bars, etc is all stuff rather easy to make cheap and good. But anything I bought like socket wrench that fell apart after 3 uses...and all I did was put struts In my car. I never use them. If your old and bored and wanna kill time but not spend alot money but feel like you did or just want something to do go to harbor freight

One of my favorite HF's to visit when I'm in Washington State! Update: I took a star off as they are constantly out of stock on so many things and I was told they normally don't stock tool boxes and to try one of the next closest stores, although I should give them a star back because MT Vernon HF did Infact have a lot more stock!

It used to be that Chinese manufactured equipment didn't compare to US, but I think Chinese has gotten better in some aspects and US has gotten worse in quality. Now they are probably pretty similar and Chinese is lower cost so why not but low cost harbor freight tools?

They have the cheapest tools in town and as long as you don't expect them to last a lifetime there worth the price. Stuff like impact sockets and hammers etc. Might last you a lifetime but I'm not sure about there generators, welders and air compressors and more complicated items.

I asked the cashier to open a 10% discount card for purchasing tools here, but the employee said they only open cards online, not at the checkout counter! I was holding an old socket, and I told the employee I wanted to buy something similar but slightly smaller. The employee directed me to that area to find it myself.

Had to get a wheel , couldn't take it off so just put everythhing in my car and off I went not knowing where I not only could get help but also get a new wheel. Suddenly turned and went to Harbor Freight on Sunset. The gentleman not only found one to fit but also took the old broken up wheel off and put the new one on!!! Thank you Derrick!!.. You and the sunshine made an unbelievable great day!.. A very kind man... I'll be a customer forever now!! A million thanks!!

Derek at the Bellingham Harbor Freight has been excellent to work with. He helped me select a canopy that worked so well I returned to purchase a second one. He went out of his way to assist with loading everything into my truck and remained personable and professional throughout the process. Despite being clearly busy and managing other responsibilities in the store, he still took the time to be attentive and easy to work with. I would confidently recommend Derek to anyone shopping at this location.
