Went to get my car cleaned after taking my dog to the vet. As you can see by the photos below they did not vacuum the back seats. Usually I catch them but I was in a rush. In this economy, they should do better, not have me never come back

This has been my go to car wash. I have felt it has exceeded my expectations. However this past visit I was disappointed in the Full Service. There was no one behind me waiting. It appeared they ran through their routine without truly wiping well. When asked about it, the response was we are not a “detail” shop. Which I realize. The steering wheel had not been wiped and the console had some stains that I was able to remove before I left. Like I said typically I am well pleased. Hopefully more attention will be paid next time. It was over 50 including tip. Which I’m happy to pay for a job well done, which this was not.

I visited the 5709 Whitesville Rd, Columbus, GA 31904 location on 8/15/2025 at 1:04PM and my vehicle was damaged by their equipment. I entered the car wash tunnel with no issues/damage to my car but as soon as I exited the car wash tunnel my low tire pressure warning light came on showing that I had 21psi of tire pressure. I drove slowly into one of the vacuum cleaner parking stalls and got out of the car to see what was going on and saw that the valve stem tip on my front driver’s side wheel had been completely broken off. I alerted the manager on duty. He saw and acknowledged the damage, filed a damage report, and told me someone would be in touch with me from their damage claims department. Again- THE VALVE STEM TIP WAS COMPLETELY SEVERED UPON EXITING THE CAR WASH TUNNEL. Here is the email response I received on 8/22/2025 denying any and all responsibility for the damage caused by their equipment: “ This letter is to confirm that your recently reported damage claim at Take 5 Car Wash location #603 has reached the Take 5 Corporate Claims department. Please know that we have completed a thorough investigation of the situation and reviewed all the evidence and/or documents related to your claim. At this time, we have determined this factual evidence does not support a claim of damage caused by the service at Take 5 Car Wash. The facts of this claim’s denial are as follows: After further review, there was no equipment failure or employee error therefore, we are unable to accept liability for this damage. Our equipment is regularly inspected and designed to avoid causing this type of damage. We take all customers’ concerns seriously and conduct thorough investigations based on facts and evidence. The facts presented do not support the conclusion that Take 5 is at fault for the issues you are experiencing. Thanks, Take 5 Damage Claims” I responded by saying I completely disagree with their decision and asked them to reconsider because I entered their car wash with 4 perfectly fine wheels/tires but exited with 1 broken valve stem tip and a flat tire. How is that possible if their equipment is not at fault??? This was their next email response: “We conducted a comprehensive investigation regarding your claim. This process involved a meticulous review of all relevant evidence and documents, an examination of camera footage, and an inspection of the equipment within the tunnel. The results of this investigation indicate that the car wash is not responsible for the damage you reported. Your claim has been denied, and this decision remains the official position of the company. Thank you for your time.” Complete failure to accept accountability and responsibility. I’m just 1 customer and I know they don’t care about losing my business, but they need to do better as far as customer relations go.

I have a floor mat missing after a full service car wash. I was taken look personal for my mat which is gone. There was a large group of floor mats from other vehicles but not mine. It was placed in a another vehicle or stolen. More than not likely it was stolen by a employee. It will cost me over $ 100 to replace the mats with the original style mats. I need to be compensated, not just fill out a report

I used this location today and I was very disappointed. The kiosk give you multiple purchase options, yet there is no menu to describe what you are getting for the price. I wanted to try full service, but there was no one around to ask and I did not want to continue to hold up the other patrons in line. I purchased the most expensive option listed as “Supreme”. Once I pulled up to the drive through I told the young man I was trying to purchase full service and another gentlemen said they were not accepting more full service for the day. That was fine. After I went through the drive through, I had to move my large SUV 3 times to be able to vacuum the entire car because most of the vacuums were missing. I did not receive any type of air freshener or dash wipe and there was no window cleaner available. I don’t expect a lot from a drive through car wash, but I feel like I just spent money, did most of the work and my vehicle is still not clean.

Brought my daughter’s car in to be cleaned by the full service team and explained to the manager how sorry I was that her car was so dirty, but having a 5 year old and her being due to deliver her 2nd child within the next few days, she wasn’t able to keep up with the mess. He assured me that he understood completely, and that I had nothing to worry about and they would make sure my new grandchild would have a clean ride home from the hospital. THEY DID NOT LIE! I was literally so thankful that it brought tears to my eyes to see how hard everyone worked to make sure that it was clean and safe! I left a $20 tip because I didn’t feel that my words were enough to explain my gratitude. The car will never be immaculate because kids do make a mess, but they alleviated a huge worry from our minds during a stressful time in our lives as a family! I will never forget them!

This morning I am officially a former customer for Goo Goo. I’ve been using this business on a regular basis for a very long time. The quality of service and wash has been declining for quite some time but I’ve continued to be a loyal customer. Today was it for me, one guy came out and basically pushed a brush across one half of my grill once and across the tailgate once. Never touched the hood, the 2nd guy didn’t even bother coming out to do even that in the other side. I drive through the wash and pulled around to vacuum, my truck was no cleaner than when I went in, bugs on the grill,hood and windshield, pollen all over. Now I have to drive to work and rinse all the soap off my truck so it doesn’t dry on the paint before I start my job. I’m a firm believer in being a loyal customer for local business but I think it’s fair to expect at least some resemblance of good service from those businesses. I know I’ll get the generic response to this and nothing will be done but that’s okay, never again Goo Goo

I said a few months that I’d never go back but hey they could have been having a bad day. I went back yesterday and well needless to say I’ll never go back. First I was questioned why I was waiting for the full service. They stated I didn’t pay for full service. They made me pull up my checking to prove that I paid for full service. I should’ve left then, but $37 is $37. I left with windows smeared and water was not dried from my vehicle. They obviously didn’t clean inside because there was a spot where I dropped a beverage and it was still there (and it was just a drip). A 5 year old could have done a better job.

The service on Whitesville Rd is tier 1. Always an amazing experience what I enjoy most is the clean vacuum in the detailing area. The vacuum hoses are never trashed and always presentable. I think the staff doesn't outstanding job asking questions and providing guidance the customers.

Paid for signature wash, $45. The inside of my car is still dusty. They removed 3 of the 4 mats, just ignored the mat behind driver seat. Several employees kept getting on their phone, hence the young lady that took one swipe at the inside windshield, then right back to her phone. I had to call her attention to it. All but one person acted like they did not want to be there today. Could have gotten the $27 car wash with same results. I

I never post negative things on social media but this is something as a consumer you should be aware of. I went to goo goo car wash to clean my car. Their employees broke a piece of outer body siding off my car. The management refuses to contact me, and their customer care center will get you no where. I now am responsible for damages they caused. According to the collision center I went to they have awful stories from goo goo all the time. David the GM does not care if your property is damaged. This incident occurred on 1/13/2025 today is 29th. I've still haven't heard a thing, and have had to go to the car wash in person twice to talk to someone because they don't answer the phone. they still refuse to take responsibility.

I went to this car wash today around 1. As I was pulling into the wash, an employee appeared to be looking closely at one of my tires with concern, but no one said anything to me about anything. When I got home, I discovered my hubcap was halfway off. This is frustrating, as it could have come off while I was driving and created a safety hazard. If the staff noticed an issue, I would have expected it to be communicated before I proceeded through the wash so we could’ve prevented it. I also would assume the staff would know how to direct you into the wash without damaging your car.

Stopped by this location after coming off of a 10 hour road trip. We felt bad about how filthy the outside of the SUV was however we were warmly greeted by the staff and manager David H. They sprayed the SUV down as we made a joke about how many bugs and dirt we collected on the way back. They all assured us it was no issue, especially one they weren’t used to lol and recommended we upgraded to the full service wash. It looked a little packed however I’m glad we did! Our vehicle looked better than it did off the lot! Inside and out! And we were out in a timely manner thanks to Liz and her crew!

This morning at the GooGoo Car Wash right off of Veteran's Parkway at 5709 White Road in Columbus, GA I had my Honda Odyssey EXL washed with the top level $30.00 car wash. I had to stop to reset my left side mirror because it was backwards! Just now, I found that my rear wiper broke off, also. It had been fine before the carwash. 😱 I've always had great service at this location over the many years I've been coming here. This is the first time that there has been a problem.

I paid for the $42 cleaning session and I barely received the basic service package. They did not clean the inside and outside is subpar. I would 20000% advise anyone looking to get their car detailed to go to any other establishment.

Came all the way from MA to visit a friend with my pup and was looking for a full service car wash as it was much needed and came across this one & let me tell y'all the customer service was phenomenal, I initially had thought this was a Take5 location bc I had credit in my account, but the manager, David was super helpful and kind to get everything sorted out for me! All the employees were so kind and did an amazing job leaving my car nice and clean! Will definitely be back whenever I visit! 10/10 will recommend to my friends out here!
