You can find some good things for a great price. I like buying my greeting cards, wrapping paper, ribbon and gift bags here. They have a good selection.

Unfortunately everything except for the paw patrol hat was either missing something or made of poor quality at an expensive price. They also offer brown bags you can buy that literally tear apart before you even leave the counter...they're solution ....put the merchandize into another brown bag which tears apart also so then they put the 1st torn bag into the 2nd torn bag and your ended hope you have a good night....honestly if it hadn't been for the employee who had a wonderful attitude I wudda asked to speak to the manager.

Fully stocked and a great selection of many products at lower prices than most stores. Plus download the coupon app for more savings and special offers. Great customer service and helpful staff.

What I came here for cost more than Grocery Outlet or food for less. Most things here cost more. I got a couple of things for a dollar. But if you come here to save money on any food, go somewhere else. Most all the food cost more. And I just bought a towel at Walmart for $4.97 but here it was $6 Just a very few things here you can save on. Not really worth coming here

Manager Brianna is extremely rude. Good look on having your phone out and not getting your head ripped off by her. I've never even spoken to an employee the way she spoke to me. Rude tone and manner. SHE ALSO TRYED TO SAY NO ONE CAN SCAN IN HER STORE, only if its through their app. Never shopping at a family dollar again.

Very good customer . A lot of goodbyes on good quality merchandise like dishes true foods Pasadena detergents pesticides candy ice cream clothing sunglasses reading glasses hygiene like shampoos shaving cream razors women's makeup also have cold medicines aspirins I kind of know. Everyday things that fits the families needs

Dont think I didnt see the nametag of the person being reported either. Horrible place to shop cashiers state no restroom. So where do you go to the restroom? No respect for the workers out in the field that need to use the restroom before they eat their lunch and so they have have clean hands during lunch. Thanks for making me find somewhere else thankfully les swab let me use their restroom. I hope you see this!!!!

This store has a good selection of various items. I come in here at times to buy dish soap for $3 and some other items. The general items start at a dollar and work up. The store can be sometimes messy especially at night and they do sometimes run of out the items I need. However considering it is a dollar store the service is OK. Three stars.

I have been going here for ten years. The staff here at the Merced location are sooooo friendly and helpful. They have great deals. The isles are a bit small but it's worth it!!! From cleaning supplies, toys, food items, toiletries, pet supplies and more. Great store!!

They have a pretty wide variety of products. They keep the shelves well stocked. Customer service is their downfall. You may see five employees stocking shelves and only one register open . Regardless of how many people are in line.c

This store used to be nice until they started blocking every single aisle with their orders and letting homeless people sit out front of their store and smoke drugs and not say anything this is Family Dollar. Hence Family should be able to come here and now I can’t even go into the storewith my children is unsafe

Went there this evening, spent about $20 on toiletries & beauty items (reasonable pricing). The customer service was definitely a 1 star though, compared to what I’ve experienced in the past at this store. There was once this outstanding male that was ALWAYS so happy & radiated positive vibes by greeting every single person that walked into the store (what happened, where did this stellar worker go? Why aren’t the other workers like this guy?). He would go above and beyond to assist customers, even when the customers were not the kindest. Granted-this store is not in the best location which brings in some “interesting” people, but regardless-customer service should be a 5 star service. If people don’t like their jobs, they should go get a job they do like... The lady that rang me up, ripped my bag handle while bagging my items (she didn’t tell me)-I had to take all the items out of the ripped bag & place the items into the other bag I had, as she proceeded to ring up the next customer... Prior to paying, I asked if I had to download the store app to receive the discount for an item, she said yes, so I decided not to purchase the item. This was a first—-being told I had to download an app to get the discount/promo for an item (ridiculous). I then tried to enter my phone number, she said “no records/account found for this number”. Instead of asking me if I wanted to sign up, she just gave me my total, I felt rushed and as though she didn’t care to explain the app requirement or phone number issue. Positive side: I’m thankful she wasn’t rude, but she honestly could be making customer’s shopping experience’s more pleasant, which in turn creates more revenue for the store. This cashier needs more customer service training.

If I could give zero stars I would. The store is disgusting and if you go up and check out with clearance items they always say they can't sale them to you. The cashier said that they throw everything in the garbage instead of giving customers good deals. The manager is very rude. 3 employees working and not one on the retail floor making the store more appealing they rather not actually do their job.

The cashier and manager disrespected me by treating me like I was Not being treated like I was a homeless and I was a good customer and also treating the cashier and manager respectfully and caring trustworthy and I have character please send someone if those workers are good to work as manager and cashier please and send it from the city of Merced

Terrible service, I got to pay and said hello to the cashier who didn't answer, then I scanned my item and looked at the floor without telling me my total or a single word, I waited to see if she would tell me and she never did and she just turned me to see as a guy, what are you waiting for to pay, I just moved my head as if with disapproval and I paid and left without telling her anything and then she whispered words behind me, she didn't answer me hello or say anything as simple as my total but she did murmur behind my back

I stopped in town for an oil change in merced. Stopped to get some snacks and the clerk asked me to remove my backpack witch I didn't have any problem doing. However after my purchase the same clerk that took my backpack FAILED to give it back so I left the store without it unbeknownst to me! I called the store back at least 10 times no body answered! Wtfe
