★★☆☆☆ I had high hopes… I’ve been looking for a good mobile detail service and thought I’d hit the jackpot after seeing pictures and videos of Jay’s work. He promises 100% customer satisfaction and a showroom shine. I opted for his most expensive service the Next Level Up Detail Package for $350. This vehicle was purchased used, so I always try to get a deep clean done for peace of mind and get it as close to new car condition as possible. I’d only had the car for a month at this point. I had a chili incident in the car and had confidence that this service would be able to clean it up nicely. I was misled. The detail given to the interior of the car was nowhere near the price tag put on the service. The console was untouched and dirt and grime left inside. The back floor ac vents were still full of chili. Beans and ground meat coated the under area of the driver seat. Pools of chili juice were still in the carpet. There was still dirty streaks on the siding of the passenger areas. The headliner was spotted with grime and dirty dark spots. The backs of the seats were still discolored from who knows what. The inside windshield was streaked and in the same condition as when they started. Granted, I should have stayed around to do the final inspection. But being it was a workday, I had to run some errands for the office. Still hoping for the best, I had given him payment before I left and a tip for him and his assistant. Jay assured me I would be completely satisfied. After returning back to the office, I did my own inspection and noticed several things amiss. I immediately messaged Jay to see how they could be addressed. He assured me it would be taken care of at no extra cost. That was weeks ago. I tried following up again to schedule something. And he said he would have to charge me a convenience fee. I actually offered to pay it just so I could get what I initially paid for. We made an appt. But he never showed. The only positive in all this is that the exterior of the vehicle was gorgeous. He definitely knows how to clean the outside of a car. However, since I had paid for an intense interior detail and specifically mentioning the chili concerns… I did not get what I paid for. I ended up cleaning all those areas myself. So in the end I didn’t save time or money. I wasted it. A lot of it.
