The store is great and the cashiers are very respectful and helpful. The reason for 3 stars is the manager. She is very very rude and unprofessional. She left a cashier in line with roughly 10 customers waiting to be checked out. Instead of being a decent helpful manager and helping her cut down the line...she instead left her there and rudely raised her voice to call another employee to the front to help the other cashier while she stood there and took a break. She has also been asked a simple question by a customer(Me) and she rudely and demandingly answered me as if I was offending her of some sort. The question was about balloons. Her actions have all been presented at different times so it wasn't just her having a bad day. Thanks to her I give three stars because that's how bad and unprofessional her attitude is. Needs a new manager and I will give 5 stars.

Always an amazing experience. I came for 3 things left out with 96🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️. They are adding new products to the store super fantastic. I got more kitchen containers and appliances as well as a few things for my bathroom. Very clean and organized. 2 separate customers said they drive to this Covington location from Bogalusa for my very comments listed above ^^^. Thank you Dollar Tree amazing job please keep it up

The employees were very helpful and positive. The quality of most items was not bad for the price, one dollar. But, there were a number of items that were not worth one dollar. I am not sure if I will return as I do not think I will have another occasion where I will need an abundance of the merchandise they offer. It was a fun experience.

Jameson is the worst possible manager ever. She needs to be fired. She is so stupid and was very rude and not helpful. She should be ashamed and is not worthy to be a manager at dollar tree, much less anywhere else. She has no customer service and was very mean. I feel bad for her employees and anyone else who had to interact with her.

Place is very messy and dirty. Why have the food on such dirty shelves? Also why have so many hooks to hang items and then just throw them on the one shelf? We did find something to buy but when I went to pay for 3 items, she rang me up for 4 items. She said I had to buy something else because she couldn't take it off! I didn't want anything else from the store but she and the 2 people waiting to pay were so pushy to make me buy something. She couldn't believe I didn't want anything. I honestly would've walked out except the items were for my child. Why didn't she just ring me out and then ring 1 less item from the next person, but have them pay for the extra item? It would have been nicer, faster and balanced the drawer. Instead she was rude and I definitely won't be coming back.

I have never been to a Dollar tree that the employees were as young as what these were and as kind, sweet, and happy to be at work. It was truly a treat just to go in and have them check me out. They couldn't have been over 19 years old. One was a young gentleman who had curly kind of longer hair, the other was a young mixed girl who was precious and talking about her going to college. It was amazing to see them talk about themselves and working as hard and as fast as they did. I will absolutely come to this dollar tree from now on.

Today I went to grab some last minute gift wrapping supplies and they had everything I needed. Jameson was so sweet and the only one working which I felt bad for her. I used to work retail and I know they expect a lot out of you especially the closing shift. After I checked out I had asked if they had any boxes they were getting rid of and she said as soon as the line went away she’d run to get them. There was an irritable older (60s) Karen-type lady who came into the line basically degraded her while I was standing there due to a comment the manager/cashier had made. (Which in my opinion wasn’t anything to be upset about.) I almost interjected but it’s was 7:30 at night on a Sunday and I didn’t want to add to the situation. All to say, please do better when interacting with service employees. She was the ONLY one working that I saw and that’s a lot to handle even if you are good at your job. My only reason for removing a star is because it’s kinda messy. But hey- it’s dollar tree during Christmas not the Roosevelt. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This store in Hickory is very new. It's so clean and the employees are very helpful and nice. The store is not clutter. So many more things to buy than other dollar trees stores. I can spend hours in this store. Check it out.

Dollar Tree is my guilty pleasure. They have these little bead storage containers that are perfect for my glitters and polymer clay confetti. I buy them every time I find some. Stopped by again on the way to bowling. Bought every bead storage they had and found some cute wire christmas trees that the daughter wanted. I spend way too much money here.
