The sales lady in this Dollar Tree was so rude when I asked about a item I was looking for. This is the second time this same salesperson was rude to me. I was in the store about two weeks ago and she was rude then and I was back in there today and the same person was working and I asked where I could find an item and she was rude again. What is up with this. I tried to be nice and peasant and she was so short and rude. Won't be going back there again that's for sure.

Not happy with their chip reader. I carry more than enough money in my account for shopping and it always rejects my card, but I don't have a problem at any other store. It gets very embarrassing to be standing in line looking for my other card.

I love Dollar Tree and this location is no exception. 99.5% of the store is exactly $1, and anything that's not is less ($.89 or .50, eg). Great for cleaning supplies, some meds, stationary, snacks, some kitchen supplies and more. Only reason this store gets 4 instead of 5 is that it could be a little cleaner and more organized.

The manager was berating an employee in the office and I heard every word. She was loud for no reason. The store was also out of much of the products I was looking for. I am pretty sure the cashier was under the influence as she asked me the same question 3x and moved super slow and cautious with a line of 6 people behind me.

I had a very bad experience at this location. I could not find what I was looking for but I did buy one item. However when I was checking out Kevin put his hands in the air and very rudely said "Really, one item. We stock thousands of items and you are only buying one item?" The cashier next to him said "Kevin you better watch what you are saying." I told him that I do not have to buy anything. Then he decided to take my money. I should have just left without making my purchase. I will not go back to that store again.

Needed to run in for one quick item and they were 11 minutes until closed but already had their doors locked but people still inside.

This store sends my OCD into overdrive and it's not just the messy disorganized store. Could they at least sweep up the 4" of trash and leaves in the entrance and clean the glass and door? I feel like I need to take a shower when I leave.

This dollar store is usually clean and well stocked. I like that it doesn't feel super cramped. I haven't had any memorable encounters with the staff, which is usually a good thing. Sometimes I'm surprised at the things I find for $1, and my kids love going to Dollar Tree, too.

I am giving a generous 2 stars only because I do find things there I like to purchase and I will go back for that reason only. I have lived in many states and this Dollar Tree is the messiest I have ever seen. Stuff everywhere. We could hardly walk by the gift bags as they seemed to be tossed all over the floor. It always seems ransacked and as if there isn't enough employees to help customers and actually keep the store clean and tidy. Very disappointing that this is the state of my closest Dollar Tree. Customer service is also lacking. I asked if they carried a specific item and the clerk pointed in the general direction and said if the item isn't there then it is out of stock. She could have actually showed me where to find the item I was already searching for. She was very busy trying to stock items and run the cash register. I think they they need more employees ro better this whole situation.

Everything is $1.25. I don’t know what else you expect here. The cashiers are the slowest I have ever seen, the shelves are in mass chaos, there is stuff on the ground and there’s no rhyme or reason to it. But all that’s okay because you can fill an entire cart for $12. Take a date to Dollar Tree and tell her to go wild and have movie night at home, there’s no way you’ll spend more than $20.

Very crowded with boxes and things in every aisle. There was an older lady with curly hair & glasses stocking stuff on the kitchen wall. I asked if I could get past her to get 1 item real quick, as there was no other way around. She huffed and said you can walk over here and leave your cart over there. I said I don't want to leave my baby over here. She didn't move. So I waited until she was finally done with her box. Then was able to get my 1 item. I asked another employee if they had thumb tacks and she said they would be in this aisle or that. Didn't leave her spot to help after I searched & searched. They're out of a lot of things. Customers there are also rude. I'll find another store to go to as a new Lee's Summit resident.

Elliott was very friendly while we were attempting to check out. Carmen, on the other hand, should be reprimanded for her poor customer service skills and discrimination tactics. A Customer Service Professional does/should not ask to take people out of one line to another register, asking them after they do to step out of the line to then go back to the other line which is now multiple people deeper. Upon her return, maybe thirty seconds later, she then proceeded to again ask for more customers to proceed through her checkout line. This is not how you get return customers to shop in your store, and I am incredibly despondent with the experience that this location is offering with people like Carmen up front.

There’s a little boy that works here argues with customers about where carts and things go he works there I’ve worked at Walmart no shape or form did I tell the customer to put carts back let alone in an argumentative way… if you don’t like working don’t work regardless of where it is. Kid needs to learn customer service and work before starting to be on his own otherwise he will get fired wherever he works. I used to be a regular customer at this location and I will no longer give them my business.

Honestly the worst I’ve ever been treated in a store. I wanted to buy 5 laundry baskets to help my mom move and they would not sell them to me because they were full of body puffs. When I tried to come up with a solution, I was treated very poorly by the assistant manager. I was told to come back tomorrow to talk to the store manager. No thanks, I’ll be calling regional or higher level to let them know. Really, how stupid. And yes, before you ask, I did indeed ensure they were for sale. Will never return.

no sunscreen this is an essential item this is completely unacceptable I will never stop shop at this location again I was going to buy five things I bought zero I will not shop at places that fail to carry essential items. so if the local manager is meeting this you need to tell your regional manager to step it up I know how they don't let you choose your inventory but this is completely unacceptable

You guys…I’ve NEVER seen anything like this. Now I wish I would’ve snapped pics. As another reviewer said, this store is TRASHED. I couldn’t even get through the aisles there was so much junk everywhere. It looked as if they’d gotten a month’s worth of truckloads in and no where to put the boxes of junk except for in the aisles and they don’t have enough employees to unbox them. I went for some gift bags and the hooks were Nearly empty. But guess what? There were BOXES upon BOXES of unpacked gift bags. I wasn’t about to start opening them and stocking myself so I just left. So embarrassing, especially for a community as nice as Lee’s Summit. Seriously, go anywhere else but here.

The store is absolutely TRASHED. For lees summit I would expect more and this ridiculous. One cashier and no back up which makes the wait long… SWEEP YOUR FLOORS!

One line on a Saturday and the line was almost to the back of the store. The young man working was handling the pressure well, while the manager was not assisting for whatever reason. The three stars are for HIS effort. Someone in the line said this was a regular occurrence. At any rate, I got what I needed.
