They usually have 2 liters of Pepsi on sale on a almost daily basis. It is an impulse buy store so you do have to watch what you buy but everything is reasonably priced.

I like the store, but the website bites. I logged in to add a shopping list. Just keeps saying add a store even after choosing 3 different locations and logging in and out twice. Useless...

not stocked, order waiting in aisles, stacked high, to be put away. shelves were chaos- I had to go to 3 different areas of store just to get laundry items!

They are awesome at making the clearance price and moving the line along at checkout so long as there aren't any odd customers, which does happen from time to time.

This was the biggest, cleanest, and most organized location I have seen. Most stores are incredibly messy, crowded with boxes, lack staff, and are just plan dirty. I only saw one staff member though. DG stores really need most staff in general. Pun not intened.

This location is probably one of the worst in the Des Moines area. The store is usually kind of dirty, and very disorganized. You often have to dig behind other items, to find the item that you want. The staff is friendly, and as with every Dollar General they have some good specials going on, and that's why I'm giving it three stars.

I love shopping at Dollar general they have great products and most of the time the staff is friendly and helpful but just like any places you go you can get someone having a bad day just remembered everyone is human maybe give that person a reason to smile but if they still behavior negatively maybe speak to a manager 😁

I went to but 6 ft. Tables and Deb knew exactly where they were. She had rung them up when I remembered that I had a $5 off coupon. She never got upset and cancelled out the order and rang it up again with the $5 off. All the while being nice as well as patient. I bought 2 of the tables and Eva carried both of them out and put them in the back of my pickup. Great customer service at the Euclid and S.E. 14th !!!!

I will never come here again the workers here we're extremely rude to my family and I. I Would not recommend going here at all. Nobody was friendly here. My mom spent like 20 minutes looking for perfume so she asked a person who works there and he looked at her like she was dumb. She said," this is the rudest store I have ever went to". Again I really wouldn't recommend it at all. In fact the only reason why I put a star down is because you have to. I would give it no star they were that rude.

I stopped in this store to get balloons for my new grandson. I brought my five year old granddaughter with who is handicapped. One of the employees bought her a balloon because he thought she would like it. She loved it! Thank you so much for being thoughtful and caring

This store does not have its stuff together they are to open at 8 am here I sit at 8:15 and they are still not open..I've seen at least 6 cars come n check if they are open and leave..so they are losing customers for sure..If your going to hold a position where you have responsibilities hold up to them ..these are the types of people that just take the positions for the raise in pay and nothing more..this store lost me as a customer I'm leaving and will not be back.

My spouse was just in a purchased a few charger blocks for our kids which she didn’t know that I had already just bought them charger blocks and so I asked her if she had the receipt so I can just return them tomorrow and she said no I didn’t grab one so then I called the store within this five minute time period of when she was just in the gal said nope if you do not have a receipt you cannot return them. That is your responsibility to grab the receipt and I politely asked the girl could she just check and see if the receipt was still there because she was just in. I’ve been there multiple times and I’ve seen that they let their receipts pile up and she continued to say nope it’s probably been thrown away needless to say horrible customer service and very unhelpful.

Store has nothing on shelf's prices are not marked it is a ghost town . It looks like it got looted that's how badly kept this store is. The people however are very nice but nice even if their store is not

Whoever was working tonight as a cashier was extremely rude I went because online it says they have new Halloween decor in stock my daughter was looking for it and I asked the person working where the Halloween stuff was he cuts me off and says they don't have anything I said well online it says you do and he goes just cause it's online doesn't meen it's in stock Hun and I said ok well I picked this store on the app and it said it's in stock he repeats himself calling me hun again I said ok hun well I was just checking he said no you just want to argue so I walked away he then says loudly in front of other customers You can leave and I said oh I will gladly leave after I get my kid . I then called army post dollar general where they have in stock and online and the decor already put out on a display I don't appreciate someone who probably gets mad for getting called the wrong pronouns calling me hun rude work on it

This store will rip you off in a heartbeat!!! The prices on the shelf by the product are NOT the correct prices. It will change when you get to the register. Candy supposed to be five for five mine was five for seven fifty. And they will not let you see what the register is ringing up. It is some kind of secret. Can’t trust stores that won’t let you see things being rung up. Plus when you bring the price difference to their attention they will spend fifteen minutes trying to justify the difference in price. Telling you it’s an on line price or some such discriminatory story. So I figure the prices on the shelf are telling me that this product will cost at least this much. But it is such a surprise at the register. Since they won’t let you see what they are doing be sure to check your receipt ( if you can find it) before you leave the register. Store is very dirty too. Get a tetanus shot!!

Really difficult to know who the employees are because none of them are in uniform. Any tagged items or price tags are completely wrong . Hard to tell what you’re picking up off the shelf.
