Bad customer service the manager there is so horrible all she do is talk on her personal phone and instead of tending to the customers. DO NOT SHOP HERE ANYMORE NEVER EVER. Unless you like being treated any kind of way.

Worst customer service I have ever had. And I'm in retail myself. No greeting no one at the register had to wait for 10 minutes just to check out one item. They need to do better

My internet didnt work. Their system wouldnt work so I could get my coupons for my order. I left a buggy full of stuff I wanted. I even went out of the store then to my car and then across the parking lot. The guy inside said they used a blocker so people couldnt get the coupons or scan items themselves. Dont go here.

One stop shop! I love visiting this DG! I feel safe and I’m able to find the items I need. The associate always greet me when I walk in, and they are willing to help me locate items (if needed).

These reviews must be from Employees... 😆 The store had inventory all over the place in aisles etc.. wasn’t greeted at ANY Point an time from walk in to check-out ,cashier was on her phone never once greeted me or asked if I needed help found everything ok etc .. and continued her convo throughout the check out process . I was given a total and that was all.

Staff are always very nice. But the store is a mess. And I can not fault the staff. It looks like they need help badly stocking and trying to perform every other job in the store alone. The isles are always cluttered with stock blocking your way.

No wonder your stores are robbed all over Macon! The lady cashier was smiling and happy to help even though she had TEN people waiting in line. She was the ONLY person working in the store! SHAME on you for the way you treat your staff! Get these folks some help and pay them accordingly! God bless'em

The best dollar General store I've ever been in as for actual employees knowing their store and helping find things u ask about. They maintain order and cleanliness as much as they can. Customers do pull out items and mess up shelves. Prices and item are marked usually but some are clearly not marked either on the shelf or items. Which in particular is a peeve of mine. Overall tho good experience there

Good evening. I live on Bloomfield Road, l enjoy going to Dollar General. I like especially the Dollar Deals they have especially for person shopping on Low Budget. They have ''Friendly Cashier''' very helpful and patient with older person like them. I been here ever since they first opened up store . I don't drive drive it closer to where l live. This stores employees are very rude. The guy at the register was on his personal cell phone and I had to say excuse me more than once to get his attention. Then he acted as if I was bothering him by asking to use the bathroom. Every other dollar general in middle Georgia has never had a problem with allowing there customers to us the bathroom. Also the store was very disorganized and it looks as if the employees don’t take pride in keeping their store looking like it should.

I went into this dump for the first time on Monday evening, 9/18/23, and I will never go back again. Every time I go to ANY one of these stores in Macon, they always charge higher than what it says on the shelf for most items that I buy. This happens too often to be unintentional. They do this on purpose because they figure that most customers won't notice, it will just let it go. So they show lower prices on the shelf so you will pick it up, but charge higher at the register. When I point it out, they always change it to the right price. But at this store, the half-wit cashier, who was wearing street clothes rather than any kind of uniform, and no name badge, became extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and confrontational when I pointed out that the price on the sticker on the actual item, a pair of reading glasses, was lower than what they were charging me, and he and the other guy there refused to sell it for the right price. This is the kind of experience you can expect at this location. Don't bother shopping here. There are better places to shop.

Was easy to find the few items I needed without all the confusion at the big box stores. Still has the normal clogged isles with products, but much better than last year. I think corporate is trying to change the stores for the better.

Please inform your customers & public that closing time is 9:50 not 10:00. As a consistent customer I'm okay with 9:50 but please make that public. Just wasted gas going to store that closed down early. Thank you
