I Don't know how this place stays in business: two other stores on the very same street have comparable merchandise and lower prices. The employees at this store have problems totaling simple items at the register and handling a simple return with a receipt. Best to avoid this place altogether.

DG is always a mess, boxes, trash and product are always scattered about. Staff is hot or miss, sometimes very helpful while other times extremely rude or put out. But this place stays in business because no body sells junk cheaper. If you are looking for value products at low prices, DG is the first place to go.

Actually I love Dollar General. It doesn't matter what I need the simplest things all right there at your fingertips. From getting greeting cards to household products 2 things for holidays and parties. They also have a lot of Home and Garden Products Fairlawn making flower gardens. The ladies who work there seem to be very nice very informative about their different products and if they can't help you they will tell you where you need to go however anything I've ever tried to get her look for has always been there so I feel blessed that there are Dollar General stores around in the area. Instead of going to a big store and paying higher prices Dollar General offers you exceptionally low prices and the items are just as nice as if you were in a big store so come on down check out the Dollar General store you love it. They even have food items snacks

One register open... Store was packed with customers and the lady was the only person in the store...She was very nice and was moving the line as quick as she could... I really like Dollar General its normally always well shocked with food and etc but at this one day when i needed rubber bands and a relaxer for a friend it was bearing anything on the beauty supply side of the store.... Over all i love this store its well maintained and anything like the nasty overly stocked and overly priced store on N.E 13th Street near Gainesville High School...

Stopped in one morning just to grab two things and this store was BOMBARDED with the GHS students. They're asked to leave their backpacks at the door and there were easily 50 backpacks piled up. They swarmed the aisles and created a line soooo long for the poor one cashier there, that I left without purchasing anything. The upside is I think my presence stopped a theft in progress, but there's no way that one employee can manage that on her own. She was calm though. Probably used to it. Props to her for real!

Tonight was the second time that the manager Will was extremely rude to me and my family with very unapproiate remarks and a terrible attitude...His attitude and sly smart comments to customers is just not acceptable...I will follow up without corporate to settle this matter. The comments he made I would love to share cause it would blow your mind ...but saving to share with management over him first. Phones have such a handy voice recorder...and I love using mine..It's all on tape...let's see how this plays out.

Each Dollar General you shop in will be very similar to each other. So the employees make the biggest difference. The employees at this location are always very nice and happy to help when they can. This is one Dollar General that I prefer shopping at, it also tends to be more organized and cleaner than some others here in town.

Went to store an hour after open and they are still closed with people waiting outside. I’ve tried to call this location several times these past few months and have never even had the phone answered. Obviously Poor management if you can open the store on time or even answer a customers call. Do better

It’s about average for a dollar general. There’s a good chance half the store aisles are blocked by carts with in stocked merchandise that has been sitting around for months but that’s at most dollar general locations. It’ll likely have what you’re looking for if you’re just stopping in, but don’t expect to do grocery shopping here. Also don’t expect to find many hot wheels.

Trash covers the property, management refuses to place trash cans outside so the property in covered with debris​. For a two year old, building it is definitely filthy.

For some reason, these dollar stores are closing an hour earlier than the actual time they close. Would be nice if they updated their hours on their website so people aren’t blind sided

Hi my name is Zac. We are visiting Dollar General late after in November of 2022. Parking is located alongside south of building. Entrance is easy to spot and the doors are automatic. Inside is your usually DG setup with storage buggy’s found in the middle of the aisle. The employees are almost always friendly and supportive. This is my neighborhood DG and I like to be just as pleasant with these guys.

I’m honestly extremely disappointed in my experience at Dollar General. I had a cashier who was extremely rude. His name was Jared. It was just unnecessary. I asked him a question and he was super sarcastic. I think he was attempting to make me feel stupid, but I mean it’s a general question about the receipt. I was very kind and respectful, but he wasn’t. I don’t understand why this location hires employees who don’t have an ounce of customer service.

The best dollar general in town. Its always clean and organized. The staff is always friendly and greets you. The store manager is on point at all times. That woman does a dang good job at running that location! Thats the only one ill go to and its the furthest from my house.
