It was nice that the car wash took credit cards but it wasn't nice that it kept taking my money even though I clearly had 8 minutes left. I just wished it had gone down to 0-10 seconds before taking the next fee. To top that, I then moved back to use the first vacuum cleaner to the left, inserted my coins, vacuum turned on but without the suction. Overall, I will probably be back but will definitely be smart about it. Bring your quarters and dont use the first vacuum cleaner to the left. This is, by the way, the location at Whitestone (Cedar Park)

Overall a good little carwash, not crowded at all on a weekday afternoon. Was able to use a credit card to pay. The foam brush was really good and the pressure from the wand was okay. The spot free rinse didn't seem to be working the day I went which was a little disappointing.

The owner was there, was very helpful. The chemicals/soaps left the car very clean and the spot free rinse was actually spot free. Got the car a lot cleaner than the drive thru wash for about half the price, too.

I drove 5 miles out of my way because of the recent reviews for Connie's Car Wash. When I get there, the change machine is out of change and the office is closed because they are in Leander today. There was another woman there that left for the same reason. I love the idea of 20 minutes for $5.00, but I won't even pay at the pump, much less swipe my card at an unattended car wash. Dirty car for another day since I wasted my lunch break going there.

If your car is fragile then I would take my experience into connsideration. The wash didn't have a clear indicator on when to stop. As I pulled out of the drier, there was still water on my car so I used a dirty tee shirt in my trunk to dry the rest of the off. I noticed the rear light was cracked and the bumper was popped out of place about 1.5cm. I met with the owner who denied responsibility and chose to speak to my insurance instead. Besides that, the services they provide are great and quick to use.

This is a 'no touch' car wash. It's about $14 for the deluxe wash, and it doesn't do very good. There are several other 'touch' car washes around this area that are exactly the same price and do a considerably better job. HOWEVER the reason I am giving it a 2 star instead of a 1, is because this is a good place to go for older cars or perhaps a classic car, as there is no risk of it scratching up the paint. Just bring a microfiber towel to dry it off with and you will be golden 👍

For 5$ you can wash your car from top to bottom and apply all soaps, brush, wax, and rinse for 20 minutes!! Hands down the best car wash in or surrounding the Austin Texas area! The owner's are extremely courteous and the one time I did have an issue with the mechanical side of the money taking mechanism, I was given a card that had $10 credit on it. I've used this car wash for 12 years plus and ypu can't beat it!!

I don't usually go to do-it-yourself car washes but I just wanted to get the 2 month's grime off my car cheaply. My husband, who only goes to these kinds of car washes came with me. This was both our first time going to Connie's. I used by credit card and got my car cleaned with my husband's help (actually he did everything while I pointed out the missed spots :). I figured there would be a $5 charge because it took him less than 20 minutes to finish and there was a special offer. Later I found a pending $12 charge on my cc. I called the office and the message said to wait for 3 days and the actual charges would show. I waited 4 days and couldn't find any charges on my credit card. I called the office to say there was a mistake (left a message). No one called me back and there's still no charge. I think the way to go is get $5 worth of tokens and forget about using a credit card. My husband said this was the best self car wash he's ever been to. The equipment is new and works well. The vacuum was strong and you get 4 minutes for one $1 token. I highly recommend Connie's Car Wash.... just use tokens.

I love supporting local!! I washed my car there a couple of weeks ago and planned on taking my son's car there as a treat because he is away taking care of his 92 yr old grandma. Since then, I shattered my humerus so I called to see if they had an automatic car wash and explain my situation as to why I was afraid to drive to their other location. (distance and one arm) At the time I didn't know that I was speaking to the owner but he told me if I drove my son's car there, he would wash it! I gave him my credit card and he and a friend washed it way better than I could have!!! And only $8!! I will always wash my car there and tell everyone else I know too!! I really can't even take a picture and unfortunately!! Thank you Ed and Todd!!!

This manual wash is nice. Typically clean, with well working sprayers. Looks like the bad reviews are mostly from people who don't know what a clay bar is and why it exists. Are you familiar with car paint care, have a ceramic coating you don't want damaged or need to get light dust off? This place is plenty. Seriously, it's pressurized water. This won't fix marks or road dust that sticks to paint. Do some research before poorly rating a car wash that is actually better than most around. /tedtalk

We visited this place, washed with all possible options, but the car did not wash off at all, even the usual dust remained on the car.

$3 for 4 minutes clearly marked, self serve wash. Only tokens from change machines (bad). Quarters or credit card. In bay machine does not take $1 bills. 4 bays. Too expensive. Good soap. 2023.03.03rd.

7June2024 My first time here. I’ve been in Austin twice in three yrs. Love the manual wash wands. Not anyone here when I did an impromptu stop. Right off of Old Hwy 183 in Bell district and quick access back on the road. Everything is automated..cards and cash. Change machine for cash usage. Pay attention to the digital screen. It told me my charge was $7.00 and my bank account was charged $10.00. Not pleased. I will call for my $3.00. Make sure you read this machine before inserting or swiping your bank card. Look at my picture I circled in orange. I have never seen anything like this before at any carwash I have ever been to. I guess it’s just Texas. I’ll be reading the manual carwash machines more often now.
