Our Cashier, Pennelton was so lively and helpful today. As we entered the store she asked us if we needed help finding anything. To me that was super helpful in such an intricate store. My mom and I browsed a little bit before going up to the register again to request a bag of play sand from the lot. She was our cashier and was super helpful. Then, she promptly asked another team member, Gary, if he could help us put the sand in our car. He was more than happy enough to assist us. He was very friendly, inviting, and provided great customer service to us. Will definitely return again as my mom shops here all the time and loves it!

This store is amazing, I've never walked in and not been told "let us know if you need any help" immediately. I could not located something and an employee must have seen my serious face and knew i needed help. Not only did he find me what i was looking for he also found me another option. The staff is always friendly. i also get to work with Josh through my job and he is always checking in and making sure we have everything we need. Really cant say more about how great this Ace is. Its the little details for me!

I used to frequent this location as it was convenient to my house and the staff is friendly and helpful, however in the last few years the prices on a lot items are nearly 30-40% more than competitors. Given their website says they will price match I didn't think it would be an issue. I added the exact items to my cart in the competitors app, and showed the cashier the upon request. They stated they could not price match the competition due to an additional 15% bulk discount being applied for purchasing 5 or more. I offered to negate the extra bulk discount if they would match the item prices before that discount and they still declined. Needless to say I'll be taking my business the extra few miles to the blue or orange store from now on.

I love Ace Hardware and it is in my neighborhood. I was disappointed when I went into look for plug adapter for (europe) outlets and the young man did not even blink. He just told me that they did not have them. I left. I went to Lowe's. I tried Target. Then, I got online and it told me Ace Hardware had them. I ordered online and picked up the next day. Usually at Ace Hardware there is a Boomer who will walk me back to the aisle and tell me more than I need to know. Bring those old guys back. I miss them. This is the second time a young person dismissed me and did not even try to help me. Get off your phone and give Good Customer Service. I will be back because you guys are usually great.

In the past year, I have bought an array of items at this hometown store, staffed by a caring, kind crew who never fails in helping me find just about any item sought. Those purchases have included metric screws needed for mounting a fixture, some small bags of insulation to fill a small, drafty wall hole along an outside wall, towel racks for bathrooms and the kitchen, and reflective number decals for mailboxes. The staff who operate a local hardware store are unsung heroes in the community, providing 1-on1 customer service that a larger,, big-box store never can match. Parking is so close up front to such a store, and a customer never needs to walk/wander a half-mile just to find a critical $3 item that’s the missing link in a home project. These Ace Hardware stores — and any local hardware retailer — exemplify the best of our American marketplace, and are deserving of our business.

There’s only five words to express the Ace Hardware of Mauldin. A wonderful place to shop. The store has great energy, great customer service, and great prices that matches the big box stores must of the time. The store has great employees (Sean, Wade, Eli, Margie, and Thomas) just names of a few that always gives an 110%. Needed help with pricing on a blower today, Sean was on it. I appreciate great customer service and I appreciate Ace Hardware of Mauldin for making customer service a priority. Thank you Grant.

Terrible about repairing stihl equipment. Not enough people certified to fix equipment. Never had a problem before but if you are thinking of purchasing equipment and there sales pitch is that they can service it, don't but from ACE Hardware in Mauldin.

Had two keys cut here for our Chevy equinox. The gentleman that cut the keys did a great job. I have been in this store multiple times and each time I leave very happy. The employees are very nice and helpful. Much prefer going here rather than Home Depot or Lowe's. You get better service here than at the other places.

On the walk-in, the customer service was a 10/10. Everyone was so friendly—especially Mr. Ned and Mr. Luke. We were welcomed warmly as soon as we arrived. Mr. Ned escorted my mother and me directly to what we came in for and made the entire experience easy and pleasant. He should absolutely be commended! Coming from a place known for southern hospitality, it’s rare to receive this level of customer service nowadays. My mother and I were truly blown away by the amazing experience.

Love stopping in here at this Ace hardware, friendly associates as soon as you walk in, they have a little bit of everything here at this store, looking for a gift for someone, they probably have something here!
