Do not go here. The owner here is either a price gouger or doesn't know what gas prices are. Gas prices here are prices you would see from a gas station that raises prices during a hurricane. What a horrible way to to business.

Most of the Chevrons in Gainesville, FL are the most expensive gas stations in Gainesville. Surprised this one stay open. Stay away if you're trying to save money on gas. Go to Murphys at the nearby Walmart instead.

Has wide space between pump, has a air hose, not free, and a water, but u need a hose for the water, its on left side down by a broken air pump, just past the vacuum u use to clean out ur car.

Honestly, I don't go here for gas bc it's more expensive than most. However, it's still my favorite gas station to go to for other stuff, because it's so clean and the service is awesome!

Price gouging, hurricane taxing, assumption forming bigots who care only about a paycheck. Will no longer bring them my business after the Lead Sales Associate accused my girlfriend of something completely preposterous and not based fact or evidence whatsoever. Absolutely ridiculous. Daytime staff is ok, aside from the Assistant Manager who constantly seems to disappear and leave one associate behind the counter during a rush.

I just happen to be googling this particular station for frame of reference on a trip I was taking and was shocked at the review score! The employees alone are worth the 5 stars; they've all been working there forever and are THE NICEST PEOPPE YOU WILL MEET IN THE BIZ...period. I've found in my profession you can tell the quality of ownership by the quality personnel they hire. Which is why the people at other places that may or may not have lower gas prices at the time have that Wells Fargo Banker "I don't want to up-sell you but I have to" look; and the faces always change. There's more to a store than gas prices and I believe leaving one star to that effect is a poor review effort. I've lived and worked in the area my whole life and this place is a cornerstone of my travels back and forth to alachua. The car wash is the best they make and they run a buy 10 for for $80 or something like that and it's a DEAL! Perspective: if you pay .20 cents more a gallon, you have to buy 500 gallons of gas to hit a $100 dollar difference in price. Maybe it's because I'm not pinching pennies like I used to, but this is a quality business with quality products and personnel, and quality is something I miss in our country which you may or may not get even when you're paying for it...here, you get it.

I used the car wash at the Chevron on 43rd & 53rd this past Sunday 1/8/23. My front bumper was pulled away from the car and the clips that hold it in were broken. I didn't see it until Monday evening I went back in Tuesday and brought it to the attention of the business manager and his supervisor. They took down information and agreed to review camera footage to see whether I was there or not. They found me on video this past Sunday morning. The manager called today to say that they saw me enter the car wash but could not visibly see the damage being done and therefore offered no help to pay for the damage. They KNEW they had no camera angle facing directly into the wash area when I first came in! I thought they were really trying to verify if I was actually there. Not so! They were blowing smoke up my @&$!! So I will not be going back there ever again.​ CAVEAT EMPTOR!!

My favorite gas station in town. Always clean and they play 50's era music while you pump gas. Always stocked up on everything inside and there are plenty of pumps. Car wash works good too! Gas is a bit more than surrounding areas but the place is well maintained and has friendly, professional, well dressed staff.

This is the SCAMMIEST gas station I've EVER been to and I'm over 66 years old. They wanted me to join a club after putting in my bank card bi declined and left without putting gas in the tank. My account has been charged $50.00??? This is reprehensible for someone on a strict budget. It's like they used my money to gain interest!!!! Never again!!!!!

They are not honoring coupons for free car wash that were in the Main Street newspaper. Not cool. Don't buy anything from them in future, so misleading.

The fuel price is usually higher then other places. They got a few vacuum cleaners and a car wash. They also have paper towels next to pumps for people to use. Not a bad place.

Hats off for the worker here named Chris, in a few words I'll say this,we need more people like him in our world..he helped me out without hesitation,I asked him for some ice for my soda because I left my wallet,and Mr.Chris said yes man go ahead and help yourself...I did and I am very grateful for him and for Chevron having such a great person working for them and being extremely professional and helpful... Thank you mr.chris,God bless you and keep up your great work..
