I went in to get subs and amps installed in my fiances truck for his christmas gift and they were able to do it that day. It tool all day however it got done and was done right with a 4 year warranty. That's a win! We couldn't do a custom made box right now however there is always room for that later on.

Sales Rep hit me with the bait and switch. "Only available" option in the correct size was 2X the cost of first option provided. I was given a receipt with no details. After asking for an itemized receipt I found an extra $50 added to the rate. This was refunded. Tech informed me how lucky I was that he didn't charge me more for labor since he took an extra 15 minutes longer than he personally quoted me. I cannot recommend this location based on that. Staff was friendly and store was clean and organized. Audio quality and Tech work was perfect.

Ive had my systems installed here on a few different occasions and they always use adequate hardware and have built racks to seclude the amp where you can’t see it and placed the bass knob in an inconspicuous place where it looks like just another factory part of the car. Never had any issues with product. The guys are great and it’s always been easy.

The short, stout, portly balding man working the counter treated me as if I spat in his face, when all I asked was how/where I could turn my key into a fob. I don’t expect great service, but I also don’t expect gripe from a minimum wage employee over a simple question. No wonder Car Toys is failing 🤡

We have no photos but it was great! The sound system that we purchased works perfectly. It took 7 hours and we stayed in the store while the work was done. The customer service is beyond fabulous. This our second time purchasing from this location. They work with your budget and we never heard then try to upsale anyone for the commission. Employers of the year to every single sales person!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

5 Stars! These guys are wonderful! I had a unique situation where I accidentally dropped a sentimental (and pricey) gold chain down my Acura front dash ledge. I was quoted $2000 by a collision company to pull apart the front dashboard. Decided why not ask Car Toys - Ian found it in 15 mins! Ian did a custom fiberglass enclosure for my car and made it look like it was factory. He was very professional and quick with the whole process. He ended up using different wiring that was cheaper and rather than not telling me he credited the money back to me. Car Toys is one of the best auto tinting companies I have been to. I have had MANY cars tinted and I had a very good experience here. I was lucky and saved a little money by obtaining a Groupon, and they had no issues accepting it. They were very accommodating with the schedule I needed and I was able to reserve an appointment for a Saturday. I showed up early, hoping I could just drop it off because I had other errands to run. The individual who helped me was very polite and respectful, and said they could get to it right away. I asked for some additional work done and he happily said they could do that too. What a nice experience and refreshing attitude. They were very reasonably priced, the shop was large and had plenty of places to sit and wait, if needed. They finished my car fairly quick and they called to let me know. When I picked it up, the individual who helped me check out was also very friendly and made sure everything was done correctly. It looks great and I expect it to last a very long time! Thanks again to everyone there!

Yeah don’t even bother getting the Groupon for window tint. Got the ceramic upgrade and was quoted $150 bucks on top of the Groupon. They first tried to get me to pay $360 something dollars and I was like no. Then the assistant manager came out and then my total was $254 which was also not right . They applied the amount I paid for the Groupon and not the actual Groupon amount and “discounted” it $50 bucks . Go elsewhere if you can or you’ll get scammed. Oh and I got my itemized receipt after I paid and it has add push button . My car doesn’t have a push button .

I’m so thankful they do Groupons to save money. They don’t do the trunk though and didn’t fully wipe down things but my car was so messy and 2 years overdue for a clean. The outside looks amazing and the floors looked amazing :) they had it for 4 hrs. I’m very thankful for their hard work. But I’m probably going to do it myself from now on

I walked in on Christmas Eve to purchase a remote start for a rig and they were very helpful and informative and had me in and out in 2.5 hours with installation. My family and I have purchased radios, speakers, back-up cameras, the works from these guys for at least 5 years now, and they have always been amazing! Special shout out to Vince, great customer service and got the installation done with a time crunch.

I only dropped my brother off to have work done that he purchased from Groupon. I had the same remote starter installed in Tacoma. We both have Mazda CX-5's except mine is diesel and his is gas. The scam is that you buy it on Groupon and then when you go to the appointment to have it installed they tell you it won't work on your model. For me they said it would work if I had a gas model instead of a diesel one. I don't know what Olympia Car Toys told my brother other than it wouldn't work and they would have to charge him $250 more than he paid on Groupon. The entire Groupon and Car Toys relationship is a complete scam where they get you in after buying and tell you they have to charge $250 more. And when you say okay I will just get my money back you have to fight with Groupon. And that is impossible because there is not a single real person to talk to. Getting your money back is impossible by design from Groupon. Stay away from anything involving Car Toys and Groupon

Vince and the whole team were fantastic! Vince installed a heated seat for me in just over 2 hours and even found a limited time discount that let's me pay with no interest for 12mo! I don't recall how long the discount is available, so I recommend getting over there asap. I highly recommend the store on Pacific in Olympia with or without the discount. They are prompt, professional and very nice to work with. 10/10 would recommend and I will doing business with them for the foreseeable future!
