Went to CS to fix some paint and get a ceramic pro coat on my new-to-me but previouslly dealership loaner car. They are were wonderful. Kimberly answered my many questions, was amenable to my travel schedule and made it easy for me as we worked out my services and international payment blocks. When I picked up my car, I was pleasantly surprised my car was cleaned inside and out - a really nice touch. Also, as part of my follow-up - I did have a correction to part of the service I received and everyone was open to having hard(awkward) conversations to help resolve. It was no one’s favorite but done professionally and thoughtfully so that we could get a solution. No business (or client) is perfect and the way they handled this was the best it could have been to keep me as a client whiling staying true to their employees- which I commend them for. Rob - thank you. Weeks later, my car looks amazing even with all the rain we’ve had. I will be coming back for future touch-up and detailing.

Paint Protection and Ceramic Coating for Tesla Model 3 - I received outstanding service from Capitol Shine on my car. I purchased a full front end PPF and whole body Ceramic Coating. The finished product looks great, but the best part of my experience was the customer service. Unfortunately there were a lot of complications in my service (cracked windshields, dust under the first PPF), but Capitol, and their awesome rep Kimberly, kept me updated constantly through text and voice, and made sure every single issue was resolved before I had my car back. They even spent time and resources driving my car over to Safelite for the windshield issue. PPF and Ceramic coating is an expensive investment and I felt my investment was well worth it at Capitol Shine. I will update this review if I notice any defects or issues arise in the near future. So far there are none.

I purchased Xpel fusion ceramic coating (whole car + whee) + window tint + ceramic pro interior. Ron’s team made my new car looked so beautiful. Kimberly also patiently explained to me the product they used, which helped my decision among many different price ranges and quotes in the market. I would recommend Ron & Kimberly to my friends and family who are interested in ceramic coating on their cars.

If I could I would rate them at ZERO stars, but you have to select a star to leave a comment. I dropped my car off at Capitol Shine in Arlington at 0730 and picked it up at 1530. This Is the their "Full Detail" package at $275. I was fortunate that they tried to work with me and redo the car, but as I explained to the manager. They had the car all day and no one thought to do inspect the car after it was deemed cleaned. The front office worked with me and refunded my money to my credit card. I know I will never go to this establishment again, if you choose to become a customer I recommend you drive the car outdoors (outside of their garage) and do another inspection before driving away. I will add, the manager at the Arlington location and the front office lady were nice and professional. If they had a review for customer service I would give them 5 stars.

BEWARE!! This is not the place to have ppf or stek or vinyl wrap for your car. The team is cool people and very friendly. They are incompetent even with washes. You pay 100 dollars or 150 dollars for a car wash and if you point something out they say it’s the customer being difficult. I had my Porsche Panamera wrapped blue here and they had it for almost 3 weeks. When I tell you they sold me a dream and had Huge expectations I was very disappointed when I got my car. The vinyl looked like it was edged by a 4th grader. I went to 3 wrap shops they said it was very poor work because they made it seem I was being picky. If you pay over 7k you should be picky!!! You should double check your work. TRANSMISSION LIGHT CAME I TOOK IT TO PORSCHE AND THEY SHORTED SOMETHING AND IT HAD MANY ERRORS. I recorded the tech talking and sent it to them. The manager said they would fix it but as time passed the wrap was peeling and It had so many imperfections. Bolts missing, taillights misaligned, paint scratches from not using knifeless tape, parts missing. I told them to refund me and remove and I’ll give them that they did because they know it was a a poor job and I didn’t want to keep bringing it back to get things fixed. Initially I purchased ppf(paint protection film) on the whole front end and they wrapped vinyl over it so that said it’s common. I agreed to keep the ppf and they would remove the vinyl wrap. They said it will be good to go when I pick up. I PICKED IT UP THEY MISSED HALF THE PPF ON THE BUMPER AND SAID IT MUST HAVE RIPPED OFF WITH THE VINLY. is there no double or triple checking work here?!?? I messaged them they said bring it by and we will put it on. They said it would have stay a day or two for it to cure. I had work so I said I’d bring it by some time later. Eventually the partial ppf that’s on the bumper after a couple days starts to peel up! I told them I’ll take my business somewhere else. I asked for a refund and they said no because my bumper had bad paint! WHY WOULD YOU PUT OR LAY ANYTHING ON BAD PAINT! my paint isn’t what’s bad it’s the inability and incompetence of capital Shines team. I have trim pieces missing, bolts missing, too much to list. Do your research before you come here. Pictures will speak more volume.

I had an amazing experience getting my car detailed here! From start to finish, the team was professional, thorough, and super friendly. They paid attention to every detail—my car looks and feels brand new, inside and out. I couldn’t believe how clean they got the interior, and the shine on the exterior is incredible. I was excited to get a professional wash and vac here as there appears to be no places around here that actually have good automatic wash and self vac. I had just returned from a road trip with my dog so I took off the seat protectors and removed literally everything from the car in order to make it as easy for the crew as possible. I tried not to laugh once I got a good look at my car once I left the garage. I cannot believe I spent about $100 (tip included) for a very disappointing job on both the hand wash and vacuuming. There was still dog hair everywhere. On top of that, there was still a lot of visible dirt/grime on the outside of the vehicle. Definitely will NOT be returning. I could have done a better job vacuuming and hand washing it myself, but unfortunately I just don’t have the resources living in an apartment in the city. It’s great that I still have to vacuum the vehicle myself after all that money and take it through another wash. Update: Melvin called me almost immediately after I posted my review and offered to have me bring my car back for them to re-wash/vac free of charge. I ended up declining to bring it back as I honestly just don't have the time and would prefer do it myself at this point. I have to say though, excellent customer service! I was offered a full refund since I was not going to bring it back and Melvin apologized for the job not meeting my expectations.

I visited Capitol Shine based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Rob, the CEO, gave me excellent guidance and described various services since I am inexperienced when it comes this type of labor. He never seemed rushed and took his time pointing out the different offerings. He fit me in last minute even though their schedule was busy and also returned phone calls on his day off to answer questions. Melvin, the general manager, was also very helpful and fast on returning calls. This is a top notch operation. I had the Ceramic Pro Gold package applied and did a total interior cleaning as well. I’ll be coming back here monthly for washes. These guys know their stuff and they are focused on making sure the customer is happy and well educated about their purchasing options. You won’t find better.

I brought my new Tesla Model Y long-range to Capital Shine for a Full PPF, ceramic coating, and window tinting. Customer service was excellent. Kimberly and everybody at Capital are friendly and helpful. They explained everything that would happen during the installation. Hershell did my window tinting, and it looks fantastic. Chris did the full PPF and coated the car with ceramic. I won't lie; the car looks incredible. Every day, I look at my car; I am incredibly proud I did it with them. Capitol Shine should be your pick for window tint. They are both incredibly friendly and warm but also competent. It is a little odd at first driving 3 floors down in a parking garage but once you arrive the folks there will put you at ease. I bought a car that had cracked 5 inch band of tint on the windshield that I didnt want to stare at any more. I brought the car in to have that tint removed. The service was efficient: done in an hour. The service was excellently executed: the tint was removed without a sign it was ever there. Lastly the service was reasonably priced: priced at $75.
