The new owners started to fix the place up. The paint job on the outside was done onto the trim but the trim was never painted. It has been several years and It looks tacky. They have stuff for food items that has been there for about a year that they have yet to get going. Many items that are repurposed but have not been redone to look nice. They used to be close to prices in Sioux falls but now they are high enough that I take the time to go to Sioux falls.

Oh, this little place is just a keeper. Nothing fancy. Small, but filled with good people. And the blaze orange hats they sell with their insignia on them are a must have;). I bought one! And I wear it almost every day;) jk. Not every day. But it is a fun hat and I don't have to worry about going unnoticed when I wear it. 🤓

The gentleman behind the counter was THE FRIENDLIEST!!!! I stopped for gas and I decided to hang out for a moment and play a 5 in the casino. I asked him for change so I could play and as he was making the change her told me to feel free to grab a cup of coffee or a fountain pop and then he said that he was sure he gave me some really lucky money and that I was not allowed to leave unless I brought him up a ticket to cash in. I laughed but NO I didn't win but I did enjoy myself immensely and left with a big smile. That was one of the best experience I've ever had losing money and I have to say this I would probably go back and try again if I'm ever in Hartford getting gas again because of that gentleman.
