My husband stays here occasionally on work trips. He doesn't mind it because it's close to where he needs to be. But, at this particular location, he never leaves anything in the room when he leaves for work during the day. Same thing when he brought me here. We packed everything up and hauled it all in and out each of the 5 days. I've never experienced that before in many years of travel. Our room was near a vending machine and we got to hear the bang from that all night long. So apparently the walls were quite thin. The room was nice and clean, other than the grout around the tiles and tub. Something was going on there but I couldn't quite determine if they had tried to cover mold or if there was some other random malfunction in remodeling. There were only 2 towels in the room but they remade our room each day. Breakfast was good. Parking was plentiful near our room. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was friendly but lightly mocking when we had to return to get the keys reprogrammed before even making it into our room the first time. They warned us not to put it next to our phone. I was careful not to but must have gotten them too close. It only happened one other time in the 5 days but a bit of a pain if your room is far away.

I had accidentally booked the wrong date — a month ahead — and arrived at the hotel on the day I thought my reservation was for. The front desk was understanding and told me this kind of mix-up happens all the time. They assured me they’d be happy to cancel the booking if my third-party booking partner contacted them. I followed through immediately, and the booking partner called the hotel the same evening (June 27th). I was even given a reference number for my records and told the refund would be processed in 5–7 business days. A week later, I was informed that the hotel had gone back on its word. The manager allegedly cited a "policy" stating that no refunds can be given if the booking was paid in full — something that was never mentioned at the time. My booking partner confirmed they were ready to process the cancellation, but the hotel refused. This felt extremely unfair and misleading. I acted in good faith based on what the staff told me, only to be penalized later. Had I known the hotel would change its stance, I wouldn’t have stayed there at all. Disappointed with the experience, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

For the money you can't beat it. Rooms are updated and breakfast is always available. The staff is friendly and always save our room if they see our name. Local restaurants all within a mile. It's our go to spot in Gilroy.

Just a warning to others because I looked at the reviews before booking. The A/C was off when we arrived and the room was a hot sauna. It stayed a sweating sauna for hours even after turning on the AC. The lights by the bed didn’t work. The phone in the room didn’t work. The TV kept turning off while in use. We unplugged and replugged everything in but still didn’t work. The front desk was aware of the temperature of the room and about the phone not working. We needed a cool place to relax for the night and this wasn’t it.

Pros - very close to Gilroy outlet - has family room available (3 beds) - heated swimming pool outdoor - breakfast= eggs, potatoes, bacon etc Cons - water pressure.. especially toliet.. carefully with #2, it might not flushed - loud! even in a closed buliding - Elevator was very slow - building a little outdated. -

Stayed 1 night with my family. Room and property were very clean and safe. Room had ample space and everything was in very good condition. Lobby and breakfast area were very nice. Provided breakfast was great. No issues at this property. Enclosed/interior hallways with balcony’s for the rooms. I would highly recommend as a place to stay. I would stay here again with my family. Very budget friendly.

Stayed for the NorCal Ren Faire. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are far from the front desk, so prepare to drive to your overnight parking space and room. Rooms are great though I don’t understand why there were two spotlight lights on the entry hallway. It seemed overkill but I didn’t use those lights once I found out it was blinding! Beds and bathroom were clean, though there was a minor ant issue in the bathroom. Scouts were looking around.

So I had to come down to Salinas for a funeral. My Cousin lost his som Josh Hostetter. Career firefighter in Salinas. I made it as far as Gilroy from Northern California. I just want to say that Isaiah at the front counter was warm and accommodating. We got a room and the ground floor as requested and it was spotless. Upon checkout Vanessa was understanding and made exception for us and even offered up Chocolate bars for the rest of our journey. The breakfast was on point as always at Best Western. Thank you all for taking care of us.

The chair that was out on the balcony was broken. The company tried to tape it together but the tape broke. The toilet in room 217 would run water most of the time. You just needed a new flap seal. I heard other people say the coffee was way too strong. I wish they would have had a list of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and nice

This is my go to place to stay when I am working in the area. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and I feel comfortable staying there. The rooms are always clean, the patio or balcony access is the only one you’ll find, which is a nice amenity.

I’ve stayed here twice and it’s very cozy and the bathroom is super spacious and nice. Everything about the room is nice besides the AC- it was broken and it worked very poorly. The pool and jaccuzi were so much fun for my kids aswell. But I was super disgusted when I also found bedbugs crawling around, I was very surprised when I saw them and I was able to take a photo of one. When I last stayed here I did get bites and so did my kids but we wouldn’t have guessed it was bedbugs. I’m beyond disappointed and grossed out by this and watch out for them if u plan on staying here!!

This is a very nice, clean, and quiet motel. There is real food for breakfast, cooked on-site by humans. Eggs, potatoes, bacon. Yay. Plus other options, including yogurt and cereal. Easy to get to from Hwy 101, but not so close you can hear it. Price is reasonable. For really good coffee, head to Fifth St. Coffee Roasters.

Rooms are spacious and clean (though I called management's attention to the stained upholstered chairs). Beds are comfortable and real food at breakfast is appreciated (though need better coffee and half-and-half -- otherwise, Fifth St. Coffee Roasting is great!). Could use more sound-proofing, given noisy, thoughtless guests who enter/leave late/early. All in all, an excellent motel.

This was my first time staying here. I usually stay at the Hilton Garden Gilroy. Rooms were great. Not 4 star but I didn't expect 4 star. Good sized, clean room. Even had a little balcony. Breakfast was complimentary and pretty good. I appreciated it considering Hilton Garden charges you for breakfast and costs more to stay there without as convenient of a location to things. The big bummer about this hotel is the lobby is in a separate building, so to go eat breakfast, you have to leave the building, walk a (very short distance), eat, and then walk back to the other building. I'd still stay here in the future. Staff was great and there was good parking.

After being out in the cold November weather it was such an amazing experience walking into our hotel room and feeling it toasty warm with the fireplace on. We did get woken up at 8:30am with housekeeping knocking and about to come in with their keys but that was our bad for not putting up the “Do not disturb” sign the night before. Overall rooms were very clean and cozy. The hotel itself is very well maintained and has a nice appeal. We didn’t make it for their free breakfast. But Right across the parking lot of the hotel is a big bear diner. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. We ended up having to add another day and they made it a very easy process. We all slept so well in these super comfy beds and the pillows are amazing! Honestly two of the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time!

When my sister’s house is full, the rest of the family stays at this hotel. It is one of the better cost effective three star hotels I have stayed at. The breakfast is included and typically includes eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, a pancake maker, and the usual cereals, bread, muffins, etc. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The room included a coffee maker with some coffee choices and such, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. We liked the small balcony. We also enjoyed using the pool and hot tub. It is a nice looking property.
