Is it standard to charge $15 for a car wash of any time length when using a debit/credit card? Last night my car wash was about 8:30 long when I hit the stop button, and that's how much I was charged. I've paid with quarters for similar length washes here but never paid close to that much. If it weren't for this occurrence I'd rate my experience much better.

This used to be a fine car wash with great prices and good equipment that always worked. For your information 10% of $5.00 is $0.50 times 7 is $3.50 added to $5.00 for a total of $8.50 or 70%. But the past month (3/15) the owner raised the price of this by 70% from $5 -$8.5 and I don't see the reason why so much of an increase is justified. Even a raise of 30% would only be $6.50 and this would be fine but an increase of $3.50 seems just too much. We talked online and he claims things are just too costly and I understand the cost of things are going up but at 70% it feels unjustified. I feel & know what causes Inflation and its the businesses that price GOUGE. Don't blame Biden when everyone is grabbing more and more these days which does cause Part of our inflation. I go to a great wash in Red Lion on Queen Street which still charges just $5 for a complete wash so please don't tell me it's prices because it's you Mr. Anderson! All I'm doing is saying what most people are thinking.

Car comes out very clean. Not a perfect carwash but best car wash I found around York. Also this is not touch less, but it does a better job than touch less.

Nice wash for cars. I like the option to use a credit card instead of quarters. 3 stars reflects that they do not offer any taller bays to pull in my class b RV.

Not good - automatic car wash put 2 scratches on my 4 month old car. I've used it many times before without issue.

Got their generic 9 dollar wash and it left my car dirty. Took pics, sent them in and true to any sales person, they gave us a code for another 9 dollar wash...plus attitude. Nah, give me my money back, sheetz is cheaper and far better.update... any business that has to get mad when you are honest is childish. Good luck will gladly give my money to another company.

Such a nice place to wash your vehicle! They have the option to do it yourself and to do the drive thru car wash. They have vacuums which kind of suck and not in the best way 😂. They are kind of weak. They also have a shampoo machine for your seats etc at the vacuum stands. You can get air fresheners and wipes from the little vending machines for quarters. When washing your car yourself it is VERY reasonably priced. Everyone is nice and respectful every time I go. Someone even offered to wash my car for me! I'll keep coming back like I always do.

Wish it blow dry just alittle longer as I got a truck now but 1min to drive thru to blow water off is to short of time it seems . But carwash cleaned my stuff or what I figured would but was hoping it get this black spots of nose as I think it was tar but ain't sure but just got them the past few days and there's alot of road paving going on so I just assumed it's that but I may just have to buy bug and tar remover to get it off . Still a nice carwash as the lady use to come into my other job ever day to buy stuff so I like to help local jobs in my area and rate them and give them my support. Update from post above but went to carwash 2x this week and I guess I need to handwash my side mirror as the thing pushes my mirrors in and I got geese poop on my one mirror which is still on but guess if mirrors stayed out it might of got that stuff off lol

Never had an issue with Anderson. I usually spend between $10-$15 to wash my car, which is about a 15 minute car wash. This is everything from pre-soak, to high pressure soap, to wash. I highly recommend going to Anderson for DIY service. The results are worth the effort.

I highly recommend not using this car wash if you care about your car. I used the automatic car wash at this location and was very upset to find scratches all over my car on BOTH SIDES! I was able to buff most of them out but one on my driver side back door is deep and left a dent as well. To make matters worse I tried to avoid writing a bad review and solve this by reaching out directly by calling the number on the website. I was completely ghosted and have not heard a thing back. I even gave it a week with it being Memorial Day weekend when this happened. I am very unsatisfied with the result of the wash and the poor customer service. If you want to keep your car nice, DO NOT GO HERE!! Dear Anderson Car Wash, since I cannot reply to your comment I will respond by editing my original comment. As a car enthusiast, I know every square inch of my car and what minor scratches or dings I have and where I get them. I care for my car before washing it, and shine it up after a wash is complete. So yes I can say the scratch and dent came from your wash because it wasn't there before I entered the wash, and it was after the wash ended. You can't use your "camera footage" to defend this because I didn't even mention what car I was in or what day/time. I mean no harm to your business by writing this review I just want this fixed or at least an honest attempt to fix it. I will not take down this comment because the great people of York County deserve to know the truth. If you are willing to resolve this issue I am happy to write another better review updating the people about that!

Very poor customer service. Credit card would not process, try several different cards and tried another bay. The customer service I recieved treated me like an idiot. I tried the way I was instructed, still did not work. I've been there many times in the past, never had this problem. Took my car to Sheetz, I had no problems.

Lady was very helpful n tried to help Me. My cars was bring stupid(swiped too many times) n no cash with me. She helped me and refunded me. Best DIY car wash ever. =) came back later to give a solid wash with cash this time

This is by far the worst automatic car wash I’ve ever went to. Barely even cleaned the car and left soap all over it - never go here

One of the best car wash options you will find in York County. Always clean with working vacuums. The folks who take care of this location do an incredible job! 5+ stars. ***** tip (Always use a five dollar bill if using the bays to wash. You get bonus free time! ) thank me later... ; )

Been going to this car wash for several years. I spray it myself not the automatic. 2 weeks I noticed the soap was spotting and looked like beading up like wax. During my rince I called the man working there over. Showed him how spotting it was. Told him looked like wax. He said noway possible the way they add detergents. He said that they switched to new soap. I tried again today. Doesn't rince off. Very spotty. Hopefully they go back to soap they used before... I do use the spot free wash but don't rag dry. Wash and go. Always was descent enough for me before the change

Thoroughly impressed, both with the initial service and the amazing customer service I have experienced. Being a member (Which gives 6 automatic washes per billing cycle for ANY vehicles you own, not being restricted to one vehicle like at other car washes), which is much cheaper than paying for individual washes. I am always impressed with how clean the wash bays are and how well the system works. My vehicles always come out better than they go in and never have any scratches or damage. As well, you get 6 free vacuum sessions per billing cycle as a member, each giving more than enough time to clean an entire van. On their customer service side, when I did call them to ask a question, I had not left a message but someone did text me back to address my concerns and were very friendly. I messaged them another time about the vacuums and they were quick to get out and fix them, so I can attest to their quality service. That being said too, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the family members that runs the car washes and he is a very nice gentleman. This car wash is run by a family rather than larger cooperation, and I can tell they invest greatly into their systems. The automatic wash bays at each location were only installed in the last few years and are very well taken care, and the owner said they will be making further upgrades to the other wash bays this year, which I am very excited to see. I recommend anyone needing frequent car washes to use Anderson. The price of the membership pays for itself in only 2 of your 6 car washes, and the flexibility of being able to bring in any of your vehicles is a god send for a family. I am very impressed with their service and am happy to be supporting a family business in our area. P.S. If you have ANY concerns or questions, please call them, no matter how big or small. Again I attest to their quality customer service, they want to make things right and will reasonably do what they can to give the best possible service and care they can.

I did the $13.00 wash last evening after dark. My truck is 11 years old. I do care about my truck and I take care of it. However after of driving in loose gravel roads on Sunday. Needless to say my truck had a coating of dust. After the wash it looked good to me. But Monday evening I did a closer inspection of the wash and to me it looks like a showroom condition to me. It shines like hardly ever before. I thought I got my moneys worth. I have paid more at other places and they didn’t do the same as what I received last evening. Thank you for running a clean operation. 🎃🍂

Worst car wash. Purchased the $24 package and it barely got the bug residue off, the wheels are still filthy and you can see the marks of what wasn't touched. Hopefully one of the other locations is better. Also, why would anyone purchase a higher end package, the guy in front of me paid more and got the same exact thing? It's not like there are additional attachments that come out to clean your car. And the dryer has not power to it, luckily it's hot out so it dried quick. In the winter this would be a nightmare.

Edit: updated from 3 to 4 stars. Owner does seem to care about service, so I wanted to give a more in depth review to give him/her a fair shake as I feel I didn’t do that originally. Pictures below. I do have a Modesto coating on my car. I’m a bit nervous using friction washes as we aren’t supposed to use them at all. Took car in in a state that was not super dirty - but mainly water spots and some pollen dust. A few bird poop residue areas. I took some before pictures. Lesson here - don’t get a shiny black car if you want it to look nice. Took it in - soap had a bit of an issue sticking with the coating on the car. Not an issue with the wash. Got the $15 green wash. Came out and parked it in the same spot - took after pictures. Missed a few spots here and there that EVERY car wash misses (behind mirrors, etc) but got most of the pollen and rain spots off. It’s what I expect from a car wash tbh, or better. If you want perfect, sorry you gotta hand wash it, and even then you may end up with water spots and something looking worse than this. Membership prices are definetly worth it if you want to was your car more than twice a month, which you probably should anyway. To be honest, I’ll probably try one of the hand wash bays until I can get a soap cannon and power washer for home use. But if you don’t have a coating, this seems to be a nice family owned place to support. ———-Previous review below ——— Went here for a touch less car wash. Auto car wash is NOT TOUCHLESS. I have a coating on the car and can only use touchless, shame this came up as a touchless, will not use the auto again here. Will have to try the manual, but wanted a quick touch up between driveway washes.
