Check for a part for my car online the store showing instock got to the store they can't find it. So the employee ask mgmt and he said they move things around he don't know so they suggested for me to go to another store. Will not be going back .

Don’t buy car batteries from here unless ur sure its your battery because they won’t refund you or give your old battery back I bought a battery thinking my old one was bad turned out to be my alternator walked back in the store to return and try to get alternator was to no refunds won’t step foot in this place again

I am a mobile mechanic my customer was in a bad situation your Mercer store in Macon Georgina literally stayed open long enough to help me help my customet. I am grateful for that. I don't know their names but I know it was a older white lady and a younger black lady. Thus corporation would not he successful if it w err text not for employees like the ones you have at the macon gallery Mercer location. I am grateful for their professionalism and their knowledge

I like this auto parts store. It's only three blocks away from home which is good because when I work on an auto or truck I know that I'll have to go back to the store at least two or three times. The staff are friendly and capable of helping with your automotive parts and chemicals.

Upgraded to 3 stars July 2024. Had the brake pads in store when newer Log Cabin location did not. Called ahead but still a bit of confusion at check out. Prior review: This review is hopefully a wakeup call for someone! Downgraded to 1 star September 2021: I had a problem with my starter. I knew that, so I went to the the nearest Advance and the lady at this location is friendly and helpful. I had gotten there after physically banging on the starter itself; and unfortunately, it froze completely in the parking lot. The helpful lady remembered me from prior visits and advised the starter was not in stock at this store. I asked her to check the other stores, and went outside to attempt to revive, and ultimately remove the starter. About 30 minutes passed, and I went inside to ask again. Unfortunately, I was advised by an older gentlemen that she got off of her shift. Another man had replaced her. And so I asked again. More time passed, and my battery grew weak from repeated attempts. I go inside to ask for a socket wrench and battery jump cables or a jump box. Of the 3, they had none in working order, nor did they ever check on getting a starter. I called work, got a ride, went and got tools and cables, and make all arrangements. I found a starter at the Advance Auto "hub" on Pio Nono Ave. I ordered it, and picked it up READY IN 30 minutes. Finally, with my own tools and labor, I installed the starter in the parking lot of Advance on Mercer University Dr. The older man was kind enough to put the battery on charge, (it was a gold battery fr Advance Auto and under warranty). I did not see that employee when I completed the install. Incidentally, he also helped a lady install her battery at the beginning of this horrible day.. So, greasy and tired, I go in the store with black soot and dirt on my face and oil on my shirt, hands, and arms. (oil was from valve cover gaskets). The man was kind enough to retrieve the battery, and let me use the restroom. I was careful not to get it dirty. So, I request him to install the battery or at least turn the bolts bc I was nearing dehydration. Noting his apathy, I grabbed it from the counter where he had put it, and said, "Please bring out a battery wrench at least." He never even did that. What a guy! Rather, he said " Are you sure it will crank?" It started like a champ. I quickly secured the tools and headed to get a ride back. I ultimately retrieved the second vehicle, which I had left parked in the parking lot, at about 8:45 p.m. and arrived home after 9 p.m. I was thankful for my air conditioning and water. A very long difficult day, filled with apathetic attitudes and very little assistance. I would do more for a stranger on the side of the road, and I am an elite speed perks customer. May 5, 2021 Great experience today, upgraded from 3 to 4 stars! WOW,the reply alone from management ups my rating from 2 stars to 3. HOPEFULLY, at 4 and then 5 soon! Original post: Individuals in store appear to lack ambition as if on site merely to kill time. Very few customers in store. Masks optional. No restroom for public use.

Very good service from parts clerks. Decent inventory despite covid supply chain in these tough times. Store was clean and organized. They didn't have exactly what I needed but they had some alternatives that worked. Folks in the parking lot are often interesting
