First time going to the car wash and was very impressed. I stated when I arrived I had not been there before and the manager took the time to explain the different selections of washes they had! I went in to pay my bill and was talking to the front desk guy (who was very polite and professional), and he told me about their monthly wash package which was fairly cheap and included a lot! I was on a time schedule and my car took about 10 min to vacuum out, wash, hand dry and they even cleaned out the door jams! My car looked very nice when It was done! I will definitely be back!!

I wanted to give 4th Avenue Car Wash a chance despite all the negative reviews. The reviews are 100 percent correct. I paid $30 for the manager's special only to go home and finish detailing my truck. The body of my truck and windows were left dirty despite after being hand dried with cloths. I guess that's why the manager wants payment before vehicles are washed. If I could give a minus 10 I would. The manager need to retrain his staff they SUCK! I will warn everyone I know to seriously avoid this car wash. Don't take my word concerning this go experience it for yourself. I will enjoy reading your review.

EDIT: My suv was really dirty after driving through the snowy muck. No other car washes were opened so I stopped by. I haven’t been here in 6 years, since my initial review of this establishment. I am glad I went. I received a great car wash. The employees were all working incredibly hard. They were very professional and kind. It was nice to see the owner also walking around and lending a hand. My suv now has many years of wear and 170k miles. It looked as clean and shiny as the day I got it, well almost! It feels good supporting a local business that employs locals and takes care of the community. I will definitely be back. Original review: I recently returned from the beach and was very adamant that I needed a good, deep clean on my SUV. I paid for "the works" expecting a clean and shiny car in return. I have been to this car wash before and had high expectations. I was let down this time. I made the 20 minute drive to this car wash because I knew they would do a great job.....I should have did a full walk-around before I drove away. There was no shine and sand still all throughout the interior. There were streaks of blue water running down the back of my white SUV. Water spots on all of the windows. I did call and was told I could bring it back in but the trust is broken. This is the top rated car wash in Columbus. Maybe I just went at the wrong time or maybe the tech cleaning my vehicle was having a bad morning. I could have spent that $45 on so many other things.(I did give a $10 tip). I am sadden and let down. Just err on the side of caution and don't drive away until you check, check, and check again.

This used to be a good place to go to but the service has rapidly gone down and yesterday was my worst experience ever. I had inadvertently left my keys in my pocket and the owner was just short of rude hollering for the owner of the blue Mustang and was very short with me. I didn't sit 5 minutes before the guys were flagging me down saying my car was ready. They do not wipe the water down hardly at all and there was water everywhere in the door jams. Later I see dirty water/stains under the trunk. The bottom black ridge has spots of something that splattered from something, maybe from what was used on the tires. Worst job I've ever had from them. Gonna have to find another place to go!

Fantastic staff. Super friendly & great people. Was the price worth the whole thing? Not really. They paid attention to detail in some parts. But to pay to move dirt on my car? Such a shame. Still, great staff. I’d rather just do it myself for the price i paid. The rag is what I wiped off my car, mainly around the outside doors so not the hinges.

I don’t go very often but it has been hit or miss every time. Today was a miss. I should have checked the car over before I left but I waited until my next stop and was thoroughly disappointed. There was still mud still all over the back of the car. The back window had barely been cleaned. The back hatch had only been half vacuumed. I wish I could post pics but instead I just will not be going back.

Definitely not worth $45, they cleaned my car extremely fast. And there was still crumbs and dust in my car. Did not empty my ash tray. Outside of my car looks horrible. I could’ve done better myself for $10. Extremely disappointed and the Armour All they didn’t even clean the inside of my car.

They have always done a great job with my SUV. Only once I've had to come back because my SUV was not clean properly. Workers are very respectful, courteous and helpful. I just wish they had a disclaimer about not cleaning all vehicle mat when you ask for the works when I asked why my rear mats were not clean, I was told by the owner "we have done a lot for you already. We don't do long mats". Here's some pictures of how your car will look like if you ask for the works. Not worth $34.99

Hands down best place to get your car wash and detail the people are friendly and they are hard-working people communicate very well I love come to this car wash at least once or twice a month can I get to 45 dollar deal they do everything your car stay clean for at least a week and a half

Updated: This place has really gone down hill. My last few visits I have been unimpressed. I have complained and they offer to redo the wash but this is not good service, I shouldn't need to complain--and I definitely don't want to come back. I'm already out of my time and money from the first try. I don't expect a detail job when I come here, but when I pay $40+tip for a car wash I do expect the seats to be vacuumed and the cupholders to be clean. I also expect the windows to be clean. There is some sort of solution or spray on my exterior windows that I can't get off with cleaner. The windows look worse than they did when I got there! I came home and ended up having to vacuum the car out anyways, and now I have jacked up windows I need to figure out how to get cleaned. Columbus is opening new car washes constantly, it's a very competitive market here. I can't believe this place has gone so far down hill from my previous review. 5 years ago: I usually go to Goo Goo car wash on Whitesville road mostly out of habit and because I can vacuum out my car instead of having to pull out my shop vac. Usually there is still gunk on my car, and the mirrors and rear window still have soap on them. So I decided to try this car wash. It was nice. The assistant manager came up to my window to ask which wash I wanted, I told him I've never been there and he introduced himself, shook my hand and thanked me for coming. The exterior of my car was very clean when all was said and done, and it really needed it after a 30 hour road trip I just took it on. The owners are very friendly and take the time to know their frequent customers. My only complaint is I figured they would wipe down my dash/steering wheel but they didn't. Not a big deal though as I keep a Swiffer in the car anyways. I'll definitely go back.

Literally the worst interior service I have ever received at a car wash. The interior of my car looks as dirty after as it did before. I asked for them to wipe all they missed prior to leaving and it was still done poorly. Absolutely would not recommend!

Great place to get your vehicle washed. Everyone is friendly. Sometimes there’s a wait but they move along as fast as they can and still do a good job. Just remember your paying for a set price package and not detailing and they do offer a detailing service.

I like this place especially being the only hand service car wash in Columbus now but please let us know when you're going to be closed for maintenance??? 2nd time this month I've come only to find it closed. have gotten nothing for my $36 this month so far. edit: received a call today in response to this review, all was explained & made right so much appreciated, great cs!

Went in to get my Tahoe washed. He turned me around because he said my side mirrors were broken. I tried to tell him that my side mirrors were not broken that they fold in, but he said no he’s not going to take a chance, he’s not responsible . It wasn’t a problem him refusing me, but he was very rude. His tone was very aggressive.

I am a Google local guide, so I would have reviewed this place whether I had a great experience or not. I just purchased my new car a week before this. I went and purchased a $30 car package , including inside and outside cleaning. The guy told me to turn on my hazard lights to them will know I have the inside package. After waiting almost an hour to get through the actual electric car wash, I was stuck inside because someone fell in front of the car wash and hit his head. This review is not based on this incident, but I have to mention it anyway. I waited about 30 minutes for the ambulance to show and pick the guy up so that he could go to the hospital. After he was moved, I was asked to pull up so my car could be wiped down. The people halfway wiped the outside of my car and didn't even touch the inside. They also did not return my side view mirrors to their usual spot after pushing them in. When I left, I had water spots on my car, and I had to stop and push my side view mirrors back. I looked over my car carefully, and it was really too late for me to go back through because I had been there for an hour and a half and had to pick up my daughter from her friends house. I tried calling the car wash to address the issue, but they didn't answer the phone, and they have no voicemail. It is safe to say I feel like I didn't get what I paid for. I knew that something didn't feel right when they got finished so quickly.

we spent $35 on a less than satisfactory service. we paid for the inside of the car to be vacuumed and wiped down, they did not vacuum the back seats, nor did they wipe down the doors.
