I contacted Rock Towing & Recovery to request local mobile service to replace 1 tire with quality used tire. I was quoted $250 for the tire which seemed very reasonable but I failed to ask about the call-out and mileage fee. He got me. The invoice outlined the following charges: Labor $2 hrs x $185 = = $370.00 Mileage 60 miles x $3.75 = $225.00 Call out fee 1 x $150 = $150.00 1 used tire: 1 x $250 = $250.00 TOTAL: = $950.00 Any questions?
