Tried two vacuums, but neither worked. The only cleaning solution they have available is glass cleaner. I would not recommend this car wash.

The monthly membership and multi car discount is awesome. I can wash the bugs, mud, or salt off the car as often as needed. Also, the access to the vaccuum cleaner and floor mat sink keep my vehicles as clean as possible. I do a lot of driving in my job, and it is important that my vehicle look good. The multiple locations across Illinois and Indiana facilitate keeping my vehicle clean, even when I am out travelling my territory

Their tire shine doesn't work. My tires looked like a leopard with spots and they don't have a bottle to spray on. The 1st time he gave my money back. The 3rd time they said they couldn't do anything. If I go back I won't pay for tire shine. I'll just bring my own

They should repair the wash system. All of the machines inside don't work, leaving the passenger side of the car not cleaned. I'm a pass owner, and it's not worth it. The dryer doesn't even dry my car at all. So I get my car washed to look at it dirty. Highly considering a new car wash.

Best car wash in town even with the edition of club car wash. Employees are always great! Unlimited microfiber towels and cleaning supplies, bug remover and scrub brush before you pull in, floormat cleaner and great vacuums! The fast pass is a great deal as well!

The revitalized car wash.... which replaces some of the brushes with high pressure water (ala Touchless), makes the wash awesome, and will result in fewer scratches over time. The new vacuum system is amazing!

I have been a FastPass member for a long time. I frequent the MLK location regularly due to the convenience. The quality of the wash has greatly declined over time. Numerous times now there are brushes that aren’t working. Placement of the blowers does not seem to really do much to dry the vehicle. The vacuums are not great at all. Also, I have a Yukon and my fiancé has a 4Runner. The backs of our vehicles are left dirty every single time we wash. The water and brushes are not getting the back middle of the vehicles. It needs wiped by hand every single time after. The Mt Zion location seems a bit better but completely out of our way. We are about done with Rainstorm. The touchless wash at Thorntons does a better job even. I like the membership though. I guess it’s time to check out Club Car Wash and see if it does better. If so, I’ll be switching my membership to them. There’s definitely something wrong with the set up to leave the same spots on 2 different vehicles dirty. I’ve ran back through as well and still has been left dirty in the same spots. This wash definitely needs some adjusting or upgrading. If our vehicles are left like this, which are common popular models, we are definitely not the only ones having the issue. Who wants to pay for a wash that doesn’t truly wash your whole vehicle.

Paid $25 for a car wash. Yes I own a white car but was unhappy in the wash. Tried to call to let them know but never could get through or a call back after leaving a message. I had done this wash before no problems but this time lots of areas on car were not clean. Just unhappy this time.

It's a car wash. Nothing fancy. Vacuums do not work at all. Even the attendant said so. Disappointed. I would check out a different car wash. Especially if you're there to clean out and vacuum your vehicle.

By far the worst auto car wash I’ve ever been to. I can clean my car better in a self serve car wash for $1.50. They always update the building, but never the wash technology, so the bristles are still some kind of hard rubber which causes a ton of micro swirls that are easily visible on dark paint. The rinse cycle has hardly any pressure, it’s just trickling down so you never fully get clean. Go up the road to Club Car Wash and pay a few extra bucks a month for a really quality car wash

I have the monthly scan tag which saves a ton of money if you frequent the car wash. Otherwise the prices are pretty high just for soap and water. I like that they provide cleaning supplies, towels and vacuums BUT the lot is awkward to get out of when you're leaving. It's cute that they always give my dogs a treat *UPDATE* As of 2/2019 I no longer use this carwash because it mangled my driver side mirror. They were very polite and paid in full to have it fixed at a local body shop but I don't want to take that chance again.

Closed for months, they re-open, and they’re already having issues with vacuums and lanes. They didn’t expand the lanes either, and the 3rd lane doesn’t read my pass. Employees are nice though , that’s why this place gets one star.

While using this car wash, the conveyor belt pushed another vehicle in to mine and damaged my rear bumper. At the time, the employees said there was video of the incident, but they could only give it to an insurance agent. They also said there was No Way it could be their fault. I filed a police report and an insurance claim. When the agent asked for the video, her calls were ignored for weeks. When I finally got someone to call me back, they said the videos are deleted after 2 weeks. Weeks later, I was told the cameras were broken. The carwash will accept no responsibility. The only way to get my car fixed is for me to go after the guy who was pushed into me- which I refuse to do. I will fix my bumper for $770 myself. But consider yourself warned! This place is terrible!! If your car gets damaged, they will do NOTHING to take care of it. And if their conveyor pushes your car into another vehicle, they will leave you HIGH AND DRY!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I am really satisfied with the car wash service that is being provided at any of the locations. However, I was charged for an extra month even after applying for the cancellation. I canceled it a day before my service expires. Except this I talked to the employees for the help. They told me that the manager had a day off and they will call me when she is here. I never got a call back. After two days I called again where the manager rudely hung up the call twice saying we can’t do anything for you. I politely asked her to escalate my concern to the higher level which she denied. This incident might stop me and my entire family to go back to rainstorm in future. Would suggest to have a review on managers this attitude towards the customers.

Went through the car wash on 9/7 at 1:30 and whoever the attendant was was extremely rude. He gave no indication of whether I needed to steer left or right to adjust at all. And when I was slightly to the right he rolled his eyes and said “Jesus Christ”. maybe if you had hand signaled instead of staring at my tire all ticked off I would have known. First time coming to Rainstorm and I won’t be back. No need for the attitude when i’m paying that much for a car wash.

9-19-25 update. Every stall had trash spread in the parking spot. Only 3 vacuums worked & one of those had no end to get in tight spots. If this were my first experience, i definitely wouldnt be back. The remodel makes this the best location!! Careful, the vacuum's will suck the rubber right out the bottom! & the air chuck for cleaning cracks was a great idea.
