Was told the whole transmission needed to be rebuilt for an estimate of $5500. Got a second opinion and was told the transmission was fine, the torque converter was fine, and that it was only a history code that needed to be cleared. Hard to find a honest mechanic. Be sure to get a second opinion before taking this one’s opinion.

You want find a better person who sticks to his words than James. He’s so kind and understanding with unbelievable knowledge when you talk with him about your issues. He was recommended to me by someone at another auto garage in Watkinsville Georgia. Unfortunately, due to some failure with new parts we had trouble in the beginning but in the end James made everything good. I will never use anyone else in the future but James transmission. Thanks James, this old man truly appreciates everything you’ve done. You probably lost money on my job but I will try to recommend everyone I can in the future and also use you on my other vehicles in the future.
